Be Gentle, My Master

Chapter 572: Always having a misconception when walking beside him_1

  • Next Chapter

After spending some time with the mystery man, Baili Xia had fully accepted him as her mentor.

He didn’t offer to teach her anything, so she started asking on her own.

She quickly returned to him and started begging earnestly.

“Quickly! I want to learn too!”

The mystery man didn’t say a word, he merely started demonstrating, just like before, right before her eyes.

He picked up a stone off the ground with the end of a chain, then with a swift toss, he sent the stones flying.

Every stone struck the distant rock wall, embedding deeply into it each time.

Baili Xia’s admiration for him was like a surging river, constant and unceasing!

Such an expert, if he ever had to face an enemy…

Even if he didn’t have a gun, these stones alone could become his deadly weapons.

She felt like she had hit the jackpot, meeting such a person in a place like this!

A master of unfathomable depths, who exactly is he?

Why doesn’t he reveal his identity to her?

Could he be someone covertly residing within the Mu family?

However, with such excellent skills, if Uncle knew, he wouldn’t fail to make good use of him.

Could it be that he keeps a low profile and doesn’t want to show off, so he deliberately hides his skills?

Just like now, even though he teaches her his skills, he still doesn’t want her to know who he is.

Maybe, this is the answer.

Because he keeps a low profile, because he doesn’t love to show off.

That’s why, despite his presence in the Mu family, no one has discovered his real abilities.

But precisely because of his indifferent attitude towards fame and gain, Baili Xia’s admiration for him grew even more out of control.

That night, Baili Xia seemed tireless, and trained with the mystery man for almost two hours.

Only when her arms were truly unable to lift, she retracted the chain.

She lay down on the ground, falling flat and wanting to rest.

However, the mystery man, as always, walked over to lift her up.

Baili Xia waved her hand and was so exhausted she could barely speak.

“I’ll…just take a little rest. I’ll get up in a moment.”

But the mystery man didn’t seem to care and, as always, grabbed her wrist, pulling her up.

Baili Xia pursed her lips, feeling extremely tired.

However, she understood his intention.

After intense exercise, one must not lie down immediately as it could result in poor blood circulation.

Additionally, lying on the cold ground with a heated body is not good for the body.

He never spoke a word, but now, Baili Xia could understand what he wanted to say through his actions.

She didn’t understand why he didn’t like to speak.

Was he afraid of being recognized by her?

“You…” She wanted to ask who he really was.

But she knew it was pointless to ask that question.

She slowly regulated her breathing, before she started to walk slowly on the grass, following the mystery man’s lead.

Apparently, it helped the body recover faster.

“Actually, why are you willing to help me?”

As she walked next to him, looking up at him, she felt a strange déjà vu.

It felt like she was walking beside Uncle.

But Uncle, out of all people, was the least likely.

Wasn’t Uncle in Licheng right now?

They were so far apart, how could he possibly be here?

“You seem to be in a good mood today.” She changed the topic of conversation, not asking about his identity anymore.

As always, the mystery man remained silent, just quietly walking beside her.

“I’m so close to you tonight, the chill on your body isn’t as heavy as before.”

So, she figured, his mood should be pretty good.

She just didn’t know what the reason was.
