Be Gentle, My Master
Chapter 886: Shocking Love Affair How It Ends
Baili Xia began to understand, a little, why Uncle had done what he had.
Being with Brother was far less deadly than being with him.
But had he ever asked for her opinion when he made those decisions?
She wasn’t angry with him; if there was any anger, it had long dissipated.
Getting angry about such things now seemed pointless; she just didn’t like it.
“Brother…”
“Do you want me to kiss you here?” Mu Xiaoyao suddenly stopped and looked down at her intently.
With his current expression and gaze, no one would doubt he was serious.
If she had said “yes,” perhaps he would have bent down and kissed her senselessly.
“No! I don’t!” Baili Xia was truly frightened.
Instead of letting go, she even wrapped her arms tightly around his sturdy waist and buried her face in his chest.
By hiding her face, he wouldn’t be able to see it and wouldn’t kiss her.
Brother’s look was terrifying; it was so intense it could scare someone to death.
Seeing her finally behave, Mu Xiaoyao withdrew his icy gaze and continued to embrace her as they walked toward the apartment.
Baili Xia’s cheeks were flushed from start to finish, never returning to a normal color.
Walking with Brother like this really turned heads.
Before, people had taken secret photos and said she was with Brother, but now it was openly, brazenly done for everyone to see.
From then on, the title of “Mu’s Woman” was probably something she couldn’t shake off.
But her heart was always a bit sorrowful.
No matter what Uncle was planning, how would this end?
What kind of ending would they choose?
How could the elders from the Eight Big Families accept such a shocking and unconventional romance with Uncle?
Before she could extricate herself from her entanglements, someone approached them with greetings.
“Boss, sister-in-law.”
It was one of Mu Xiaoyao’s subordinates, respectful and smiling.
As the saying goes, you don’t slap a smiling face.
Baili Xia could only smile back, solidifying her title as “sister-in-law”.
When they returned to the apartment and the door had just closed, Baili Xia forcefully pushed Mu Xiaoyao.
This time Mu Xiaoyao didn’t stop her, let go of her and headed into the room first.
When he returned from the room with his clothes, Baili Xia was still glaring at him in the hall, fuming and flushed with anger.
“If you have something to say, I’ll give you one minute,” he said indifferently.
Baili Xia bit her lip and, finally unable to contain herself, stormed over and kicked him hard.
After being kicked, Mu Xiaoyao didn’t even frown; he took his clothes and turned into the bathroom.
Baili Xia was really angry.
No matter what he and Uncle were planning, shouldn’t they at least ask for her opinion?
But they never considered her feelings in anything they did.
She couldn’t be angry now; after all, she loved Uncle, loved that jerk so much!
But if this continued, even a Buddha would lose his temper.
Soon, the sound of rushing water came from the bathroom, and Baili Xia’s rage slowly subsided.
Looking around the apartment again, everything was a mess.
Hadn’t the cleaning lady come this week?
Why was no one taking care of this mess?
Even on the table, there were still the remains of yesterday’s instant noodle boxes…
