Chapter 951: He Found Out!

Before long, they found a public restroom on the road.

Passersby came and went in the small park, all envying the sight of a tall and handsome man carrying a girl to the restroom entrance.

Being carried to the restroom by her boyfriend, this girl seemed really pampered, yet people couldn’t help but feel envious.

It was only then that Baili Xia realized being carried to the restroom by a man didn’t really look good.

She struggled slightly, and Dongfang Jin looked down at her, “Have your legs stopped tingling?”

“Much better.”

Hearing her say this, he finally put her down.

Watching her slowly move her legs toward the restroom entrance, he followed a few steps behind.

“Are you afraid it’ll be inconvenient by yourself?”

Baili Xia turned her head, glanced quickly at him, and immediately quickened her pace into the restroom.

What could be done if it was inconvenient?

Was she expected to let a grown man help her enter the ladies’ restroom and push her into a stall?

However, the whole ordeal did lighten her mood, making her feel less oppressed.

After using the restroom and washing her hands, she came out.

To her surprise, she saw Dongfang Jin standing outside the public restroom, intently reading a piece of paper in his hand.

This paper… why did it look so familiar?

Her heart skipped a beat.

She immediately reached into the pocket of her shirt, only to find it completely empty.

Her breathing grew erratic, and upon looking at Dongfang Jin again, she noticed he had spotted her and was stepping toward her.

Baili Xia didn’t know why, but in that moment, as he approached, she panicked.

She turned and tried to run through the grass to leave the place—and him—behind.

Dongfang Jin, with his long legs, easily caught up to her.

When she tried to run again, he suddenly extended his arms, wrapped them around her shoulders, and once again scooped her up horizontally, striding deeper into the park.

“Jin, let me go, let go of me!” Baili Xia pushed against his arms.

But Dongfang Jin kept silent, not loosening his grip, and continued walking toward the depths of the grove.

When they were far enough away and no one else was around, he finally stopped and gently set down the still-struggling Baili Xia.

As soon as her feet touched the ground, Baili Xia turned to flee again.

Dongfang Jin reached out, grabbed her wrist with his large hand, and held on tightly.

“Where are you trying to escape to?

Out of this park, or out of Jin City?

Or perhaps, off this Earth to Mars?”

“Jin…” Baili Xia’s lips trembled, and as she turned to look at him, her nose twitched and tears immediately began to slide down.

He knew everything.

He had seen her report; he knew everything.

What would he do?

Would he reveal the secret?

If Uncle found out she was pregnant and forced her to have an abortion, what would she do?

She couldn’t bear to hear Uncle’s cruel words or see his cruel side.

Yet, Uncle would never allow her to keep the child.

“Why are you hiding from me? Are you afraid I will hurt you?”

Knowing she was pregnant, although he held her wrist tightly, he was also careful, for fear of hurting her.

Holding the pregnancy report, his grip tightened, his gaze shifted from her face and slowly moved toward her abdomen.

“Don’t look!” Baili Xia didn’t know why she was panicking, placing her hand on her stomach to cover it, and turned away from his gaze,

as if afraid he would notice something unusual about her abdomen.
