Naledi couldn’t explain what was happening, her teleportation was cut off and no matter how fast she flew, she couldn’t leave this place.

She could see its edge and it was no more than one hundred thousand kilometres away but she couldn’t reach it.

She felt as if the space around her was expanding at the same speed as her own flying speed.

She stopped trying to get out this way and decided to try another method. Countless blue strings flew out of her body.

She used Marionette, this entire space gave her the same feeling as a colossal living creature.

She tried using Marionette to control it and force it to let her out but her strings touched nothing but empty space.

When that didn’t work she Eternal Winter, the entire space froze, snow fell around her painting the world white.

She found herself in a world of ice and snow but before she could celebrate, the winter she had caused disappeared like it had never existed.

’ Does this thing consume my abilities?’ she wondered but that’s how it felt to her and her question was answered soon after.

Her essence started being drained out of her body a slow but steady pace, so slow she barely noticed.

Had it not consumed her eternal winter thus alerting her, she might not have noticed until much later.

Naledi started panicking, if this continued there was no doubt she would end up losing all of her essence energy.

When that happened she figured her body would be next to be devoured and that ess terrifying.

Naledi felt scared, this was not a common feeling for her but right now she felt as terrified as a little girl.

Tears welled up in her eyes, no matter what Naledi faced, she usually either had Ved or a solution of her own.

No matter how dire her situation is, she always had a way to at least fight back but this time, she felt hopeless.

She took a deep breath and drew her sword, her law of the sword blazed high, a sharp aura surrounded the entire space around her.

She placed her right foot forward and took a drawing stance then drew her sword with blinding speed.

A blinding sword light infused with her supreme law of space shot up cutting the space in half.

Naledi’s face lit up, she saw a glimmer of hope but just as she rushed forward the space fixture she had created disappeared.

" What?" The sword technique she had used was incredible powerful, it was designed to deal with durable enemies.

The sword completely ignored durability, cutting everything on a cellular level but other laws can still block it.

Naledi didn’t give up, she had many other abilities to try, she grabbed her sword and pointed it up.

A dark purple aura surrounded her sword, space twisted and turned around her then she gently swung her sword down.

Her movements were slow, when the tip of the sword painted at her feet, the purple aura around it disappeared.

Everything shifted, the position of space turned upside down but the technique seemed underwhelming.

Besides the calamitous shifting of space, nothing else happened. Frustrated she started attack everywhere without thinking.

Giant glaciers and explosions of ice froze the space around her, then black holes formed devouring space itself.

Still, the dark space seemed unshaken no matter what she did, the fear she had felt returned then she cooled off.

’ There’s something you haven’t tried Naledi, there’s no reason to fear.’ she grabbed her sword with both hands and closed her eyes.

Eight pillars appeared around her but the space they covered was too limited and no matter how hard she tried she couldn’t push them further away.

They covered a radius of about ten thousand kilometres around her which was too little.

Without another choice, she activated her ability but this one took time to activate so she stood there unmoving.

Seconds ticked by and a blinding golden aura surrounded her body and sword, golden runes lit up on the pillars around her.

A golden domain formed with her as the centre, " World of Stasis." She activated the world of stasis.

Time stood frozen within the golden domain then she moved but she had greatly miscalculated.

While time was frozen within the world of stasis domain, the dark space creature was much larger than that.

It couldn’t move the parts of its body inside the domain but it could move the entire domain since it was inside itself.

So Naledi still couldn’t close the distance to the exit of this place, a few seconds later world of stasis ended.

She hadn’t closed the distance at all and she was almost out of essence, she started feeling it.

Darkness was slowly entering and invading her body trying to devour her, her essence energy stopped it.

But the energy was being consumed rapidly and it wouldn’t be long before it was completely devoured then she would be left defenceless.

She tried to take out the chaos stones from her storage ring but the ring didn’t work, she didn’t know what she was going to do with the chaos stones anyway.

Naledi felt despair grip her heart and something she had long forgotten came back.

Mourning Snow, her moniker whispered across the world itself, ’ Am in mourning myself?’ she wondered.

The temperature around her dropped, her heart turned to ice and her entire body was encased in ice.

An image of a magnificent dragon appeared in her head. Had Ved seen it he would’ve noticed it resembled him.

However it was much more majestic than he was, those in the knowing would understand, this was how she was Ved.

Even after all these years she still had the love fever which makes her see him as more than he actually was.

So she understood, ’ It’s not my death I’m mourning but if I die, I’ll never see him again, I want to see him again.’

Tears rolled down her cheeks like frozen drops of the essence of ice itself. Her snow of despair spread.

In a blink of an eye it covered the entire space around her, normally this would not be an issue.

Despair can not affect space after all but this was a living creature, an emotionless being born of chaos itself.

It was a being on the level of laws, it not what emotion were but for the first time, it felt coldness.

It felt darkness without depths and a throbbing pain in a heart it did not possess, it could not explain what it was feeling for explaining was not a concept it knew.

However it understood, for the first time since its birth it felt something besides hunger and it did not like it and so it closed its mouth.

Ved felt a throbbing pain in his heart, his connection with Naledi was growing fainter with each passing moment.

’ No.’ without hesitation he activated every enhancement ability he had.
