Chapter 472: Chapter 472: Void Attacks

After destroying that beast made from creation lightning, Anglomesh flew to the ground to rest.

Not long after, another bolt appeared and created another beast, this one was a snake with golden eyes.

Anglomesh faced it head on, their battle shook the heavens, the air was ripped to shreds.

Countless giant scales fell off Anglomesh, each shook the ground like a crumbling mountain.

Hus blood caused the earth to turn into myriad metals because of the amount of energy it had.

Anglomesh was not to be outdone, he was wounded in each clash but consequently he shaved a large portion of his opponent as well.

" I wonder who’ll win." Linglong asked with worry in her voice. It appeared as if Anglomesh was taking more damage.

But looking at Flamel, she still looked completely fine without a hint of worry in her eyes.

It was then that Ved remembered, " Anglomesh is yet to use his sigil or law avatar, he’s not eben close to going all out."

The others suddenly noticed that as well and the worry they had disappeared. " I have to admit though, this beast is powerful." Said Ursela.

Flamel nodded, " It is, that’s another divine creature of old, a Jormungadr, the world serpent."

" What are its abilities?" Linglong asked.

" Size and venom, it has one of the most potent venoms to ever exist and it can reach staggering size."

Ved and the others were confused, that didn’t sound that impressive to them, that was until they saw its size.

The Jormungadr suddenly expanded rapidly and in the blink of an eye it was already larger than Anglomesh.

It continued growing as if it had no end until it became so huge none of them were sure how large it actually was.

Its body covered the entire sky, its eye alone was larger than Anglomesh.

" Size might not be the most defining factor of strength amongst supernaturals beings but that doesn’t make it irrelevant.

Yes, being larger by a few hundred metres or even kilometres doesn’t change much but what if you’re a billion times larger." Said Flamel.

Ved understood that concept, a larger body has more surface area, wounds that might kill others might just be a pinch to them.

Of course that’s given your strength is relative to begin with, if your opponent is much stronger than you.

It doesn’t matter how body you get, your durability wouldn’t be able to withstand their attacks.

Most of all, you wouldn’t be able to remove their laws inside your body nor resist their will trying to crush you.

Ved watched attentively, Anglomesh looked like a golden point in comparison to this things.

The size difference was so huge it as greater than the difference between a human and a blue giant star.

The world serpent was immeasurably large stretching for light years in size. However Anglomesh did not look worried.

" These things are shallow construct of the heaven, they might be living creatures but they lack a soul.

The heavens are powerful but they have a rule of their own they abide by, never violate free will.

They can’t create a creature with a soul to control them, therefore these creatures don’t have law avatars as they lack a will of their own.

They also don’t have sigils, so don’t worry, this will be easy for Anglomesh." Flamel explained.

As soon as she said that, the wounds on Anglomesh disappeared, he regenerated rapidly.

His law avatar appeared behind him towering like a heavenly giant but still much smaller than the Jormungadr.

The avatar was unsurprisingly a dragon but it wasn’t golden like Anglomesh, the dragon was pitch black with goat like horns pointing forward like spears.

" What the fuck?" Ved cursed out loud, the dragon looked way too much like him, including his golden eyes.

The only difference was that its wings were leathery like all dragon wings and the spear like horns, there weren’t two but four of them.

As soon as it appeared Ved felt an overwhelming law of might, so powerful he had an illusion it was something above might itself.

The world around Anglomesh seemed to stand still as of suppressed by this tremendously powerful law.

Anglomesh raised his golden claw to the sky, the law of might concentrated on his palm.

" ROAAAAAR!" The Jormungadr roared and lunged at him with fangs dripping with green glowing venom.

The venom was potent Ved felt his own law of poison recede as if terrified. " This thing is truly dangerous." He said.

" Indeed, there are legends that a Jormungadr at sovereign realm once killed a god after biting it once.

But then again, those are mete legends, a sovereign can never kill a God, no matter strong they are." Said Flamel.

They turned towards the battle waiting to see what Anglomesh will do in this situation, they expected him to dodge.

Being bitten by those venomous fangs would certainly lead to death. Anglomesh waited untill the massive head got close.

It was so huge it bent space-time around it, wings howled like hurricanes and ravaged the land.

The sky bent as if being drawn towards the Jormungadr. Due to its size it appeared to move slowly but covered the distance in a blink of an eye.

Anglomesh slashed down his claw, an illusion of a dragon claw appeared briefly then mayhem followed.

The Jormungadr suddenly came to a stop, four claw marks slowly appeared on its face and in front of everybody.

Its head was split apart and brain matter fell to the ground forming an entire sea of blood and brain matter.

The head alone was larger than entire stars, a drop of its blood could drown entire continents.

If they weren’t fighting in another separate temporary dimension, its death might’ve led to the deaths of countless others.

When its body fell the ground, even those outside the separate temporary dimension felt the shock.

" Wow, is this how battles between Sovereigns usually go?" Ursela asked with sparkling eyes.

------------------------------------------------

Somewhere in the void between universes, two immeasurably large beings were swimming through the Ved, following behind them was an army of void beings.

Most were void beasts but there were also, envoys and herald of the Nameless amongst them.

Their destination, a universe that was currently glowing like a beacon. " We can not allow it to grow." One said.

The other did not respond and merely growled, then the walls of the universe opened up. A flood of void beings following behind them went through.

The two beings wanted outside the universe impatiently. " Not much longer now and we’ll end it all."
