Chapter 35: The Fate of the Black Rose Guild

A B-rank city like Dong-San was a place the Black Rose Guild had taken over ten years to build its position in and protect. If Dong-San City truly were to be elevated to A-rank, or even S-rank, the entire Guild system in this place would undoubtedly be shaken.

Thunder swallowed hard.

"This... is terrifying."

"That’s right."

Lucas didn’t deny it.

"If that really happens, Dong-San City will no longer be considered a B-rank city. The current Guild may no longer have the qualifications to continue protecting this place."

The atmosphere inside the headquarters was far more tense than outside.

The Black Rose Guild definitely already knew.

They knew the Dungeons were experiencing unusual fluctuations, knew their ranks might be elevated, and knew Dong-San City could face a disaster far greater than anything this place had ever experienced.

But even knowing all of that, they still wouldn’t easily give up on Dong-San City.

A B-rank city like this was a place the Black Rose Guild had taken over ten years to build its position in and protect. They had invested too much effort, time, and dedication into this place.

For the Black Rose Guild, Dong-San wasn’t just a location for business.

This was where they had grown up, where Guild members had fought together, where they had protected countless citizens from the monsters that came out of the Dungeons.

If they truly had to leave this place, it would be no different from forcing them to abandon with their own hands everything they had built.

Moon So Yeon understood that.

And precisely because she understood, she felt even heavier.

If the Black Rose Guild chose to stay, there was a real chance many Hunters would die.

Moon So Yeon looked at the Hunters hurriedly entering and leaving the headquarters, and couldn’t help thinking about that. She wanted to stop them.She wanted to tell them that stubbornly staying behind could cost them the lives of many people.

Her blue pupils stared straight ahead, her entire body frozen in place.

That person... Why was he here?
