Kei was feeling extremely happy about what he had achieved recently.

After a period of non-stop crafting and adjusting, his production speed for the special rank F space rings had increased greatly. Before, Kei had to spend quite a long time to complete one ring, but now he could craft one every day.

If he continued to practice, that number would probably increase even more, especially after Kei could rank up to Craftsman rank E.

Kei looked at the rings neatly arranged on the table, the corners of his mouth curling up involuntarily. He placed the ring tray on the table right in front of Sora.

"Sora, just sells the ring I made, and replace the space rings sold in the store with these."

"Sure."

Kim Sora happily took the rings from Kei’s hand, then carefully stored them in a box.

"But this time, we need to clearly inform the hunters about their special effect, right?"

"Yeah."

Kei nodded.

"When selling them, tell them that if they ever face a hopeless situation where death is unavoidable, smash the space stone on the ring, and don’t begrudge the money they spent buying it."

Sora was slightly taken aback.

"Even if doing so destroys the ring?"

"That’s right."

Kei looked at the rings, his gaze turning serious.

"At the very least, I want to give them a chance to escape the fate of waiting for death."

Kei didn’t know how many people these rings could save.

He also didn’t know where the thing hidden inside the space stone could take those hunters, but at least they would get out of the Dungeon. If there was a chance, Kei didn’t want the people who bought the rings to die helplessly in the Dungeon.

For him, that was reason enough to craft them.

Today, after finishing a new ring, Kei had just walked down to the sales counter when he saw a strange guest had arrived at the store.

The hunters inside were buzzing with chatter. They kept glancing toward the man standing in the middle of the store, but no one dared to approach, as if they were facing some kind of monster.

Kei also followed their gaze.

Then, he fell silent.

The man had black hair, a face as handsome as if carved, and vertical golden pupils full of arrogance.

Those eyes were exactly the same as the ones Kei had seen in his memories, exactly the same as the eyes of the little black dragon that had once protected him.

But he wasn’t, how could he possibly be it?

"Kei."

The man spoke.

Just a simple call made Kei’s body stiffen.

He didn’t know what to say. There were too many people in the store; if something happened, it would surely cause a panic. So Kei tried to stay calm, stepped forward, and pulled the man out of the store.

"Hey... Kai, come outside with me."

Kai didn’t resist, silently following Kei.

The two stood outside the store. The chatter of the hunters behind gradually faded, but Kai’s gaze never left Kei, staring intently as if he couldn’t pull his eyes away from him even for a few seconds.

Kei was stared at until his whole body became awkward.

"Why are you here?"

Kai didn’t answer.

"I told you we don’t know each other, you keep coming to find me like this, it makes things really difficult for me."

Kai still just stared at Kei.

It wasn’t a probing or angry look. He seemed to be trying to confirm something, but didn’t know how to ask.

He had fallen into a state of confusion again.

Kei was stared at until his whole body stiffened.

"You... what exactly do you want to do?"

Kai remained silent. The longer the silence, the stranger the atmosphere became.

Kei already didn’t know how to face someone with eyes exactly like the black dragon in his memories. Now Kai was just standing in front of him, not saying a word, making Kei feel even more uncomfortable.

Just then, a figure suddenly ran over.

Moon So Yeon quickly stepped forward, directly blocking in front of Kei. She looked at Kai with cautious blue eyes,Although extremely nervous inside, she still tried to muster all her courage to glare at him.

Then, she spoke up:

"Guild Master of the Black Dragon Guild, what are you doing here?"

Kai slowly turned his head to look at Moon So Yeon.

Moon So Yeon did not step back, even though her hands were clenched so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

She looked at the man with black hair and yellow eyes in front of her, then glanced at Kei, who had been staring at him ever since.

"Do you want to bully an ordinary person right on the main street?"

Moon So Yeon’s voice still carried anger, but every word was clear.

Kei stood behind her, staring in surprise at the silver-haired back in front of him. He did not understand why Moon So Yeon had suddenly appeared, nor why she was stepping forward to protect him.

Kai did not understand either.

He looked at Moon So Yeon for a moment, then looked back at Kei.

There was only one thought in his head.

Is this person... protecting Kei, or trying to steal his treasure?

A wicked person trying to steal the dragon’s treasure!

Kai furrowed his brows slightly.

"No, no... stay back!"

He muttered.

Moon So Yeon heard those words, and her expression immediately turned serious. The fear was making her heart tremble, but Moon So Yeon did not want to lose and back down in front of this monster.

"No what? Hunters are not allowed to attack civilians, step back!"

Kai did not answer her question. He only looked at Kei, his yellow vertical pupils gradually growing deeper, full of stubbornness and longing.

"Kei has to be... mine. Don’t... take him away!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the atmosphere in front of the store immediately became tense. Moon So Yeon could sense the anger brewing in the black dragon’s eyes.

Moon So Yeon’s legs trembled, and she thought she was about to die.
