The eighth to perform is Gu Yijin. What surprised everyone was that he didn’t use any of his mental traits to create any backdrop but rather conjure another person to dance with him.

That ’young man’ was faceless and was just wearing the same as him but even so, the build, the hair and the way it moves was someone that everyone knew, it’s Qin An.

And together, they dance on the stage.

Meanwhile on the stage, Gu Yijin was actually a bit nervous. Not on the time when he was with the group which he usually is not even comfortable with but now that he’s alone.

Indeed, Qin An was right. He just has to learn how to open himself like he did. Gu Yijin always doubts whether he is fit for this competition. He was more comfortable doing things alone and wasn’t even that close to many people even after so long of being together.

Many times he had doubts if he still had the right to stay. The mentors were right. This is a group competition, not a solo. This is not just about him being the most capable and skilled but whether he is suitable inside a group. Many times he tried to change and wanted to but he felt like he was already locked in his own circle.

He couldn’t get out.

Until Qin An pulled him. The young man did not even hesitate to reveal all his secrets even though they are not that close to begin with. When Gu Yijin found it and knew that there were not many people who knew— even He Yan, he was honestly overjoyed.

He was even the first one to know than a friend that has always been with him.

Qin An trusted him. The young man was willing to be his friend.

Thus, how could he let himself stay in his own circle? Gu Yijin doesn’t want to disappoint him so for that month, he has been doing his best to stay within everyone. And he found out that everything is not that hard.

Everyone was friendly. It was just his own thoughts and fear that locked him up.

Now that he’s on this stage, he wants everyone to see that he is no longer the Gu Yijin who’s afraid of having someone beside him.

....

The last one to perform is Nan Moyi. As the oldest trainee in the competition, he was known for his responsible and trustworthy personality among everyone. He would always try his best to accommodate everyone while being warm and approachable. This made him popular with the fans and even among the trainees.

At this moment, the eldest brother in the group was standing in the middle of the stage to sing a heartfelt song written by himself. In between his brows wore a worry that he could barely hide because he was not only thinking about his family but also for Qin An.

Over the past month, he knew what was going on because of his relationship with Nan Xing. His sister would not hide anything from him. He knew their worries and he was too. His sister is very young and innocent but she wants to help the world through the little skill that bestowed on her. Sometimes he would wonder why among the billion people in the Federation, why should it have to be her?

Does his sister really have to bear heavy responsibility among all people? Why must she sacrifice something for them? Their family did not owe anything— and even rather, it’s the other way around.

His parents already died for the world. They had served the federation with their own blood and life and left them here. Did fate even think about the heartache that they’ve been worrying but thinks that it wasn’t enough?

Nan Moyi was full of doubts and uncertainties but even so, he didn’t do anything to stop her. That young child has a heart filled with only pure purpose. And it was even the first time that he saw her eyes brighten like that. He knew. She always held their parents in her heart. Never harbored any resentment about them when at such a young age, she had not experienced their love.

He was actually ashamed for even thinking too much. He was here letting himself drown into a chaos inside his mind and did not act like the brother that she’s always been proud of.

Upon realizing something wrong with him, how could he allow himself to think this way? Thus over the time, he was also helping himself to move forward.

And now that he’s standing in this wide stage where he could clearly see the people that he didn’t even know wore a huge smile on their face as they watched him. Their eyes were bright and full of hope and admiration for someone like him.

For the first time, he understood.

He understood why everyone would not hesitate to sacrifice their lives. He understood why Nan Xing, a child, would not hesitate to fulfill her duty.

It was because of this world.

"I’ll embrace the love that you’re giving me with a smile

And I would offer my heart so we can hold each other

To become the world that we longed for forever..."

....

The last individual performances were finally over and after Nan Moyi’s, the stage went dim again. It’s probably because the staff would arrange some things but throughout that time, the audience sitting inside his huge stadium could not help but fall in silence.

All of them successfully delivered everything that they had tonight, they felt it.

But... What about him?

What about the young man out there? What about Qin An?

"Anan, I hope you are doing safe." A fan on the side couldn’t help but mutter. Her eyes were red and she was forcing herself not to be so emotional but he just felt like she could not.

The whole team danced together and played everything they got. They could feel their desire and love on the stage, but what about him? What about his dream?

Was she selfish if she thought that what if the young man didn’t have that identity? For sure he can just stay here like others and be surrounded with the dazzling lights at night.

Not just her but everyone who thought of him fell into this silence.

All of a sudden, a tiny dust-like light starts to gather on the stage.

At first nobody notices this strange phenomenon but in the huge stadium where everything was just darkness except for the light sticks the fans were holding, a quiet amount of lights in the stage looks somehow eye-catching.

"What’s that?" Someone finally pointed it out.

Everyone looked at the stage and saw that the lights grew bigger and bigger until all the dust-like lights merged together and a huge golden magic circle appeared on stage.

"!!!!"

And to make it even more astonishing, a familiar silhouette was seen in the middle.

It was Qin An.
