Chapter 350 - 348: The Grim Reaper’s Performance

However their feelings are in a complicated mood and the atmosphere is tense due to the truth that they’re holding.

Hou Nian’s face went pale and she put her palms to cover her face. Her heart was aching in despair and helplessness. She knew. They could not just allow everyone to stay silent and be blind to whatever her son is doing right now.

Even if she’ll say that this is just about the devil inside him but everyone knows the truth that it’s still him.

This is the devil’s wrath for the grim reaper that he’s been waiting for.

"I will agree to the plan." He Shi spoke after a moment of silence. His fist was clenching hard as he showed firmness at this decision— to turn against his family.

"No matter what cost, we must stop this war."

Inside the huge stadium where thousands of people were watching closely, the person that they’ve been waiting for quietly arrived.

The young man was wearing a pure black robe and a wide hat that’s covering his face. Even so, everyone could tell who he was.

It’s just that his temperament also subtly changed. Qin An has a natural sharpness that seems to just embed already in his bones. He was cold and looked indifferent but everyone saw his change. It was no longer something that always pointed the tip of their sword at them as if he was facing an enemy and did not care about everything.

The cold wind also started brewing when they were inside a covered stadium. The coldness also awoke the people as they stayed astonished at what was happening.

"H-He’s back!" The trainees that were preparing backstage also witnessed what happened so they quickly went out and saw the scene. There was extreme astonishment but at the same time, joy and relief engulfed their hearts.

However they also notice the strange atmosphere and Shen Lou quickly calms them down. His face shows a solemn expression. He could feel that there’s something wrong with the situation, thus he instinctively opened his light brain and quickly contacted his father.

Yet no matter how many times he dialed, the call was not answered. Shen Lou nudged He Yan and asked him to contact his mother but it was all just the same. Even when Nan Moyi tries to contact his siblings, no one seems to be able to reach out to others outside.

Their sight went back to the stage again. The formation underneath the young man shines brighter and his movements also go faster and sharper.

The young man was dancing with the sword with his swift movements. There was an elegance even with the chilling atmosphere around him and every direction seems intentional as if he was doing more than just dancing.

But is he really doing something else? Was he just performing or was there another purpose? Whatever it is, Shen Lou had a premonition arising inside his heart.

And as if to answer the uneasy feeling, the crowd was suddenly disturbed by a sudden shock of earthquake.

At instant, the quiet stadium grew anxious and panicked. The infrastructure in this era is well-built enough to withstand natural phenomena and there’s already machines buried on the ground that are supposed to hold everything so the land won’t get affected by the movements underneath so how could it be possible tonight?!

"L-Look!" One person raised his head and his eyes widened in bewilderment when they saw a familiar mechas flying above the wide glass root above the stadium. The logos from the mechas were clearly the soldiers from the border! Why are they here?!

"Attention." A voice that was extremely familiar to He Yan and Shen Lou was heard.

"D-Dad?!" He Yan was shocked.

"You need to evacuate as soon as possible. The soldiers are already stationed and will escort you immediately outside. You must leave here quickly at all costs."

"!!!" Everyone was even more dumbfounded at the words announced. Evacuate?! What about the competition?! What is going on?!

Before they could process what was going on, a violent earthquake occurred again and after that, a loud roar and howls from the sky echoed.
