Chapter 328: Wild cat vs Boulder

Minjae’s POV

Two months later

The smell of hot food wakes me from my cat nap.

Ah, shit.

I shouldn’t have used the word ’cat’. Tch. Damn Taesan and his stupid names I am a proud peacock, not a cat!

I roll out of bed and walk to the living room of Junho’s big home.

Junho just finished making lunch and it’s cooling on the table. He’s lying on the mat with Seojun by his side. Seojun is babbling and the beta is reading one of his romance books.

"What are you doing?" I ask and he puts the book down to look at me.

"You’re awake?" he asks and I stifle my yawn as I walk over to them and join them on the mat.

My baby boy turns his head and makes cute noises as he looks for me. He recognizes my voice and it makes me so happy.

"Isn’t he the cutest?" I ask and Junho nods in agreement. He’s lying on his stomach like Seojun, so I straddle his back, making him groan as I put my weight on him.

"Min..."

"I’m heavy right?" I ask with laughter and he shakes his head. "No" he says in a voice that’s strangely breathy and rough.

"Then what’s with your reaction?" I ask suspiciously.

"Nothing" Junho says and pushes his book farther away from us.

"Let me see your book" I say and he huffs, trying to get it away from me, but I don’t let him. I snatch the book from him and open it.

It’s in English, but luckily, my beta boyfriend slash fiancé slash roommate has been teaching me basic English.

"Breed me? what is this?" I ask and Junho tries to snatch the book back.

"You make me moan...you’re so sexy?" I gasp.

"Don’t read that" he complains and snatches it back from me. The look on his face makes me laugh and he’s even turning red from how embarrassed he is.

"Woah...this is crazy, you’re reading a naughty book" I say in a judging tone and the beta drops his face into the mat.

"This is bullying" he mumbles and I get off his back, still laughing at him.

"Junho-ya, why are you reading naughty books when you can do naughty things with me instead?" I ask and his jaw drops.

"Minjae" he whines my name in disbelief, and I hold a hand up to shush him.

"All this body belongs to you" I say in a seductive tone and Seojun makes a baby noise that makes Junho blush even deeper.

"You shouldn’t do this in front of our pup" he moans and I smile at him.

He just called Seojun ’our pup’

The beta’s eyes widen as he realizes his slip up and I grin at him.

"Our pup?" I ask.

"I mean, your p-pup" Junho stutters and I rest my body on his back again, watching Seojun as he coos at us.

He’s like me, a chatty person.

"You can call him your pup too, but only if you want to do that" I say softly and Junho turns around to lie on his back.

He looks at me tenderly as I rest my head on his strong chest.

"I want to do that, Minjae. But I don’t want to disrespect your wishes or endanger you. I’m still a part of the mafia world" he says and I nod.

"I know."

"And...I really meant it when I said I want to marry and legally make him mine" Junho says.

"Do you love us?" I ask and Junho goes silent.

I can hear the slow and steady beating of his heart. He doesn’t have to respond to the question. I already know he loves us.

I’ve seen him hold Seojun for the past five months like he directly contributed to my pup’s birth. I’ve watched him wake in the middle of the night just to look after the pup. I’ve seen him work just for us to feel comfortable in his domain.

Asking if he loves us is a cruel question.

"Thank you for looking after us" I say softly and he puts his hand on me, rubbing my back gently.

"Thank you for staying with me" he says softly.

"Isn’t it cool that you know more about babies than Taesan?" I ask randomly and he laughs softly.

"Taesan took care of Sooin as a baby, he knows more about babies than I do" Junho says and I hiss.

"Damn you, Kang Taesan" I say playfully and Junho laughs again.

I like when he laughs. He’s so awkward and so cute. He’s the kind of person you want to protect even though he’s bigger than you.

"My phone is ringing" I groan and he gets up to get it for me.

"Hi my baby, look at those cheeks" I say to my baby, and he kicks his feet with a big gummy smile on his face.

Ugh!

I created the cutest baby in the world, didn’t I?

"It’s Taesan" Junho says and passes the phone to me.

"Taesan? Has he finally accepted my supremacy over him?" I ask and take the phone with a haughty smile on my face.

"What?" I say.

"I need your help" Taesan says and I scoff.

"What?"

"Speak with more respect, wild cat" he snaps at me and I roll my eyes.

"I’m the mafia leader’s fiancé and you’re just a CEO" I say and he growls.

"You wild cat."

"You boulder."

"I’m sick of you two" Junho mutters, picking Seojun and playing with him instead of listening to the conversation.

"What do you want, ordinary CEO person" I say and he sighs.

"I need you to come watch the twins with Jisu. I want to take Seoha on a date tomorrow night" he says and I gasp.

"That’s so cute!"

"Don’t text him or tell him about it, it’s a surprise" he warns and I roll my eyes again.

"His grandma is taking a rest. My sister and Yuki are back in the orphanage, and I don’t trust only Jisu to take care of them" he explains.

"If you say Minjae is the greatest, I’ll show up tomorrow" I say and the line goes silent.

"Hello?" I say, pulling the phone away and laughing when I see that he has ended the call.

"Prick" I say with laughter.

I can’t wait to babysit the boys and teach them the way of the greatest Minjae who ever existed.

"Your smile is suspicious" Junho says and I smirk.

"We’re going to babysit and I’m going to teach the twins my way" I say with a cartoon villain laughter as Junho shakes his head.

"Junny, mama is a bit...dramatic, but we love him very much" he says and kisses Seojun’s chubby cheek.

"And your daddy is a bit robotic, but we love him" I say and stick my tongue out.

"I’m daddy?" Junho asks.

"Yes, you’re his daddy, but only if you want to be..." I tell him.

"I want to be" he interrupts me eagerly and I purr softly.
