:”I want to invite you to dinner. Mr. Hughes, would you be willing to honor me……” A warm smile slowly spread from her lips, charming like sunlight piercing through clouds. She didn’t mention anything about the past, nor did she say she wanted to thank him for avenging her parents. But she thought he would understand what she was saying and would comprehend her intentions.

“Hmm, I’ll come down to pick you up.” Containing the feeling of his heart about to leap out, he spoke lowly.

“Can you give me twenty minutes?” Her voice across the phone waves was still enough to keep his heart beating faster, the icy cool in his deep eyes slowly melted with her voice, almost turning into a pool of water.

“Sister, what are you doing?” Eliza Bell watched as Avery Jane finished the call and began opening her suitcase. They had been stuck in this house for two days, and today it seemed the alert had been lifted.
