Chapter 915 - 328: Awarding 15% Equity of Mercedes-Benz Group

Chapter 915: Chapter 328: Awarding 15% Equity of Mercedes-Benz Group

Yang Chen and Liu Gaoxiong hit it off very well, and soon the two left with smiles to take a break.

Seeing them so happy, Brother Ma and others also laughed along.

After dinner, everyone went their separate ways.

Liu Gaoxiong and his wife didn’t return to the hotel but went to meet Qiu Yuhong.

Qiu Yuhong didn’t say anything; he just gave Liu Gaoxiong a contact address and number, telling him to find the person himself.

This person is the head of Shield Security Group in the United States, and Liu Gaoxiong needs to go to the United States to meet him to discuss getting rid of Liu Gaoying.

The headquarters of Shield Security Group only conducts legal business; other businesses are handled by foreign mercenary divisions.

Liu Gaoxiong and his wife returned to the hotel and discussed the matter carefully.

Chen Rou continued to inspect the company according to the original plan and released news to the public that Liu Gaoxiong was embarrassed to show up due to online news. In reality, he secretly went to the United States to handle everything before coming back to meet Chen Rou, and then they both returned to Xiangjiang to wait for Shield Security Group to take action.

Early in the morning, Zhao Zhonghua called his daughter.

Zhao Chunxue had played games too late last night and was still asleep.

"Hey, dad, what’s up? Why are you calling me this early?" Zhao Chunxue asked groggily.

Zhao Zhonghua: "It’s already nine-thirty. Aren’t you going to class? With this attitude, you still want to study for a master’s abroad?"

Zhao Chunxue: "I never said I wanted to study for a master’s abroad. That’s your and mom’s idea. I think after I graduate from college, doing something easy, even if it’s just dilly-dallying, with the money you’ve made, I can live comfortably for a lifetime. Why do I need to work as hard as others?"

I must admit, this makes a lot of sense.

Zhao Zhonghua huffed angrily, "If that’s what you think, your mom and I might just start over. We’ll give you a little brother or sister, and I’ll leave all the family estate to them, then you’ll see if you still want to laze around."

Zhao Chunxue quickly woke up, sitting up in alarm, "Don’t! Why are you suddenly talking about starting over? Dad, please don’t act on impulse. You and mom are getting older, you can’t afford the hassle. Don’t put mom through that. I’ll get up and go to class now, is that good enough?"

Zhao Zhonghua: "That’s more like it. The reason I called is to tell you to spend more time with Yang Chen. Dad is very satisfied with him; you must win him over."

Zhao Chunxue: "Dad, since you’ve put it that way, I won’t pretend anymore, I’m coming clean. I have nothing to do with him. Yesterday, he was just..."

Zhao Zhonghua: "I know, I know there’s nothing between you two, that’s why I’m telling you to spend more time with him to develop a relationship. Young people, the more you hang out, feelings are bound to grow. Anyway, I’ve taken a liking to him. You must find someone like him; I won’t agree to anyone else. Have you got that?"

Wow, this old guy is so realistic.

Zhao Chunxue still doesn’t know Yang Chen’s true identity. She thinks dad just likes Yang Chen because he’s good-looking, and apart from being poor, he has no faults, so he’s decided to have him as a son-in-law.

In reality, Zhao Zhonghua just wants to cling to Yang Chen’s coattails.

For someone who can earn respect even from President Ma of Penguin Technology, he must be extraordinary.

Someone who can play Xiangjiang Liu Group chairman around his fingers surely can’t be an ordinary person, right?

If they can cling to Yang Chen’s coattails, the market value of Hongrui Shares reaching a billion-dollar level or even stronger isn’t impossible.

Anyway, the daughter is bound to get married, so why not marry an outstanding young man like Yang Chen who has perfect conditions in every way?

Plus, since the daughter is willing to hold Yang Chen’s hand, it at least means she’s not repulsed by him, which shows there is potential for development.

Zhao Chunxue naively didn’t understand her father’s true intentions and said, "I really am convinced by you, you are indeed my real dad. But this isn’t just up to me; he must be interested in me too. Plus, I don’t even have his contact details, how can I reach him?"

Zhao Zhonghua: "That’s exactly why you need to put in more effort. Be proactive, as they say, a woman’s pursuit of a man is like a veil of gauze. A little more effort and sincerity will do the trick. I’ll send you his number right away. First, add him as a friend and chat a bit, and when the time feels right, ask him out for a walk or something."

Unbelievable!

Zhao Chunxue: "Alright, I got it. I’ll give it a try. I need to get up and go to class now, bye!"

Zhao Zhonghua happily hung up the phone.

His wife, who was beside him, asked, "Is what you’re doing really okay? It feels like you’re appeasing that Yang Chen by offering your daughter to him."

Zhao Zhonghua: "What nonsense are you talking about? Offering her to him? For us, it doesn’t matter who our son-in-law is. But if our daughter likes him and he can be our son-in-law, wouldn’t that be perfect? When an opportunity arises, you must seize it. Should we let our daughter marry a poor guy and rent a room together in the name of true love? If Yang Chen becomes my son-in-law, I wouldn’t have to worry about him coveting our family estate; from what I’ve observed, he definitely won’t bully our daughter. With others, I’d worry they’re after our wealth."

After that, he sent Yang Chen’s phone number to his daughter.

Zhao Chunxue’s mom added, "But if you don’t tell our daughter Yang Chen’s true identity, she’ll definitely blame you for deliberately directing her to pursue Yang Chen when she finds out."

Zhao Zhonghua: "If I told her Yang Chen’s real identity now, she’d think exactly that. Once they actually start dating, it won’t be an issue."
