Chapter 2624 - 2632: Not Really Gossip

Jane Sampson almost choked to death on her own saliva.

Why did James Black suddenly start driving?

"You’re being a bull-headed!" Jane Sampson kicked James Black, so angry that her planned words got twisted.

"Yeah, bull-headed." James Black nodded in agreement, then scooped the woman who was holding his waist into a princess carry and took her into the bedroom.

"If you don’t want to let go, you don’t have to. We can sleep like this." James Black lay down beside Jane Sampson, "But, if you don’t let go, you can’t change into pajamas, though I can manage."

Saying that, James Black placed his coat to the side and held the wide-eyed Jane with his eyes closed, ready to rest. Jane Sampson was angry, but she had no way to deal with James Black, who never followed the rules.

After holding him for a full minute without him opening his eyes, Jane Sampson gave up.

"You’re really going to drive me crazy!" Jane Sampson released James Black and stood up, huffing all the way to the bath for a shower.

By the time Jane Sampson finished her bath and came out, forty minutes had already passed. After her bath, she put on a facial mask and did a full set of nighttime skincare, and the forty minutes just slipped away.

When she came out of the bathroom, James Black was holding her mobile phone, looking very serious.

"Who called me?" Jane Sampson walked over and asked James Black in a subdued voice.

"Oscar Wilson." James Black replied, then hung up the phone.

"Did Oscar want something?" Jane Sampson glanced at her phone, "Is he sharing gossip with me again?"

"Not exactly gossip." James Black said, "Jillian Carter jumped off the Sky-River Bridge."

Just one sentence, and Jane Sampson was completely stunned.

"Jumped off? What do you mean? Was she out of her mind again and jumped? Wasn’t it said that she was already lost in her own happy world?" Jane Sampson could hardly believe it.

The Sky-River Bridge isn’t an ordinary small bridge over a creek, that river is connected to the sea, and there’s hardly any survival story from those who jump off the Sky-River Bridge.

"Tonight, Jillian Carter took advantage of the hospital nurse’s inattention, holding a simulated doll, and ran out of the hospital. When she reached the Sky-River Bridge, she encountered Christopher Chip, who was setting up a street stand on the pedestrian lane of the bridge. Christopher Chip saw Jillian Carter, cursed at her a few times, and when she ignored him and continued walking, Christopher Chip grabbed Jillian’s simulated doll."

The problem was with this simulated doll.

"In Jillian’s eyes, that simulated doll was the son she had with Joseph Shaw. She went mad and didn’t recognize Christopher Chip, so she didn’t react to his insults, but when he took her ’son’, she immediately grabbed Christopher Chip’s hand and bit down, drawing blood. Christopher, in pain, kicked Jillian Carter away and threw the doll out, tossing it towards the river."

Saying this, James Black paused for a moment before slowly continuing, "Jillian Carter, to follow the doll, climbed over the bridge and jumped."

"How could this happen?" Jane Sampson was so shocked she stuttered, "Bright Sampton just said today she could stomp that doll on the ground, and insisted on taking someone else’s grandson as her child."

"Because in Jillian’s eyes, that doll wasn’t her child, so she kept trying to take other people’s kids. Because of the child, she became extremely aggressive, able to hit people, bite people."
