"After becoming pregnant, sometimes when I sleep I dream, but they’re mostly particularly wonderful dreams, sometimes dreaming I’ve turned into a thumb-sized person and entered a garden kingdom, like a magical fairy tale." But this was the first time Jane Sampson had a nightmare related to past events.

James Black lowered his head and kissed Jane Sampson’s forehead, thought for a moment, and suddenly took the mobile phone next to him, directly opened the web page and started searching.

"According to the experiences shared in that post, most likely the baby in your belly is a girl." James Black finished saying, nodding satisfactorily, "Girls are good, I like girls."

"That’s just superstition," Jane Sampson shook her head, "You can’t say that in front of the baby. What if the baby in the belly is a boy? Hearing you say this, wouldn’t he feel very disappointed?"

"That’s true." James Black was convinced by Jane Sampson, "Whether it’s a boy or a girl, it’s all good, I like them all."

This was the first time James Black didn’t insist on his own opinion regarding such matters, and Jane Sampson laughed upon hearing it.

When this topic came up, her laugh directly suppressed the panic and uneasiness she felt just now in the nightmare.

In the first two days after Jane Sampson found out she was pregnant, she often took her mobile phone to browse various forums, reading these posts from others with experience.

Regarding the tests on the gender of the baby in the belly, there were indeed all sorts, everything imaginable.

Jane Sampson just talked spiritedly with James Black for a short while and then felt sleepy again, listening to James Black talk about what he had seen in the forum post, Jane Sampson listened and started yawning.

"If you’re sleepy, go to sleep." James Black pulled Jane Sampson to lie back down but drew her closer into his arms.

Jane Sampson nodded, leaned in James Black’s arms, and quickly fell asleep.

James Black only closed his eyes after Jane Sampson had been asleep for half an hour; he was afraid if he fell asleep first, he wouldn’t notice if Jane Sampson slept uneasily.

Just now, seeing her having a nightmare really scared James Black, and he was very worried.

James Black was extremely grateful; thankfully, he returned tonight, able to wake Jane Sampson from her nightmare in time; otherwise, if she slept alone tonight, who knows how long the nightmare would haunt her.

If she woke up in the dark, she would likely be even more frightened.
