Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension
Chapter 559 - 557: Tell me everything.
Chapter 559: Chapter 557: Tell me everything.
"Really? You’re going to just yell into the void of space like a madman looking for his boyfriend?"
The way Father recoiled from my statement was a sight to witness.
"Oi!! Little shit! Who the hell are you calling my boyfriend? Have you seen your mother? You think I’ll ever roll that way?" The man asked, eyes and nose flaring.
"Hey, who knows? The fact that you were thinking of another man even in death has to count for something. I just hope Mother can handle the heartbreak."
"This little piece of—"
"REGULUS!!" Mother’s sharp voice cut into our conversation as we turned to find her giving us death glares that made a chill run down my spine.
"If you so much as let another curse word out..." Her words were low and slow as her hands covered Lucien’s ears tightly, the little man merely giving the world around him a curious and confused look.
"Ah... hehehe... my love. Sorry about that, I was just a little excited."
"I don’t want to hear it."
"Heh... old man, you’re getting told off by—"
"Not another one from you too, young man. Or do I need to repeat myself?"
"No, ma’am!"
"Heh! What was that you were saying, kid?" The old man had the audacity to even laugh at me.
"Motherfu—" The cold chill of death gripped me once more as my hands flew to my mouth. This time, the feeling wasn’t even coming from Mother.
Craack!
Space tore open as two figures were tossed out unceremoniously.
My eyes found the battered figures of both Malachi and Paku as my hands tightened around my lips.
"My Dante... were you about to curse in front of little Lucien right now?" Aunt V’s chilling voice echoed from within the crack in space as the woman appeared.
She looked as terrifying as she was sexy, some very unsafe thoughts threatening to break into my mind, but one look at her murderous expression and—
"Hmm... hmmm..." I shook my head for dear life.
Getting excited can wait for later. As for now, I wanted no part of this woman’s methods.
"Humph! I thought so." Aunt V snorted, yet before she could even say anything else,
"RAVEEEEENNNNN!!!! Look! Look!! Look!!!" Mother was already shoving Lucien into her face, excitement radiating off of her.
"Go on, baby, what do you call me?" She asked Lucien excitedly.
"GRAANDMA!!!"
"Kyaaaaaa~~~~ I have a beautiful grandbaby, isn’t he just the cutest!!"
"Right! Little Lucien is definitely the most handsome baby in the world." The two women instantly got lost in their own world as now even Clarissa had been dragged into the forceful appreciation of the bundle of joy known as Lucien.
"This... this isn’t going to be a regularly occurring thing, is it?" Father asked, distress clear in his tone.
"Which part? Their ignoring of us whenever the kid is involved or the fact that we’ll be risking our lives whenever we cuss?" I asked back as Malachi and Paku finally stirred, sensing the passing of Aunt V’s gaze.
"Umm... both, son."
"Well, I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?"
"The bad news?"
"Well, bad news is, it’s definitely going to be a regular thing."
"Ugh... and what’s the good news?"
"The kid doesn’t stay up for too long. Once he taps out, we’ll be free to do as we want, both with our mouths and our women, hehehehe..." I laughed, rubbing my palms together in the same manner a shady businessman would.
"Oh? Oh! Hehehehehehe... so we just bide our time and wait? Hehehehehe.. that I can do."
We shared a look, and then—
"Kekekekekekekekekeke..." We burst into laughter, delighting in the thoughts of finally being the center of attention once the little man was out of the picture.
"Umm... Dante, if you and your father are done being creepy, can we get on with things? I don’t know which part worries me more: you and your father, or your mother." Salazar’s voice cut our delight short as the Chronari decided to butt in.
"Heh! Don’t worry, Mom will soon calm herself down. By the way, where’s Shulvan? I haven’t seen him around."
"He stayed at the perimeter, claiming no one would bother his master no matter what."
"Haa... of course he did."
"Who’s Shulvan?" Father asked, curious.
"My assistant." I replied with a tired sigh as I sent Shulvan a mental message:
"Come back."
I hadn’t even finished the thought when a brilliant crimson light flashed beside me, and then—
Thud!
"Your humble servant is at your service, O My Master," came Shulvan’s usual reverent voice.
"Father, let me introduce you to—" My words cut out as I saw Father’s face.
His expression had gone extremely hard, a golden halberd appearing in his hands as his bloodline churned within him.
An aura of dread poured out of him as cold sweat matted his forehead.
"Dad?" I called out, surprised at his reaction.
"Dante... what... what the hell is that thing?" The old man’s voice trembled despite himself as he gave Shulvan the same look one would give the most deadly predator around.
He didn’t radiate an ounce of confidence in being able to deal with Shulvan should he have been a threat, and yet he still stood with his halberd ready.
"I’ll say it once again, you two are truly father and son; his senses truly are exceptional," Shaia praised.
"Heh! Of course they are, he’s my father after all. Although I do wonder how he’d react if the others let their auras out too."
"Don’t you get tired of teasing your father?"
"I’ve been without the old man for thirteen long years. I’m allowed this much excitement now that he’s here."
Done with my words, I messaged the others mentally:
"Let off the restraint on your auras."
They looked confused at the sudden message, but complied all the same as, all of a sudden—
OOOOOOOHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMM!!!!!
The women stopped whatever they were doing as their attention turned toward this area. The entire region began shaking the moment Leo, Malachi, Paku, and Salazar let off their auras, the realm quaking from the sheer weight of their existence.
"This..." Father took half a step back before halting his steps.
His body shook. His teeth chattered, his arms struggling to maintain their hold on his halberd, and yet—
"Impressive..."
His knees hadn’t bent an inch.
Sure, the guys still weren’t releasing the fullest of their auras—otherwise this region would’ve collapsed from the act—but the fact that he could even stand in the midst of their combined release spoke volumes of the man’s strength.
Mind you, he wasn’t anywhere close to their levels at this moment, as the man was merely a Law Creation stage awakener.
"What... who... how?" Words failed him as he tried to speak, yet couldn’t quite articulate what he needed to say.
"What do you think, Dad? Of my friends, that is. Cool, right?" I asked, a small smirk on my face.
The dangerous thought of having Shulvan release his own aura into the mix danced at the edges of my thoughts.
"You’ll break your old man at this rate."
"He’ll survive..." I answered Shaia, about to give the order when—
"..everything." The old man’s words captured my attention.
"Dad? You said something?"
"Everything... tell me everything!!"
