Chapter 266: Chapter 187: Jiang Silu’s First Visit to the Manor, Stunned by the Luxury

After some thought, Jiang Yixia finally chose to sleep on her side.

At least that way, her blood could circulate better.

...

Meanwhile, the concert finally came to an end.

Jiang Silu was ecstatic. She looked at Lu Fan and said, "This is the happiest day of my life."

Lu Fan chuckled. "I wouldn’t be so sure. You might have even happier days ahead of you."

"Then I’ll look forward to the days to come!~" Jiang Silu said cheerfully.

Back at the hotel, Jiang Silu edited the videos she’d taken that night into a vlog and posted it to her WhatsApp Status.

In no time, many of her classmates had liked the post.

They left comments below.

"Oh my god, Silu, you went to a Sun Yanzi concert!"

"Whoa, from that distance, it looks like you had floor seats."

"Floor seats are so expensive!"

"I’m so jealous of you, Silu!"

Of course, He Haipeng saw it too.

He had been quietly following Jiang Silu ever since the semester began.

At first, he’d thought Jiang Silu had found a rich sugar daddy.

But to his utter disbelief, that rich "uncle" turned out to be his own biological father.

After that, He Haipeng naturally didn’t dare to hit on her anymore. After all, he was well aware of the gap between him and Jiang Silu.

All he could do was quietly like her post and give up on the idea of pursuing Jiang Silu.

Jiang Silu saw that so many of her classmates had liked her post and were envious of her life.

She was secretly delighted.

She knew this was all thanks to her dad, Lu Fan.

So, she said to Lu Fan, "I’d like to treat you to a meal tomorrow, is that okay?"

"Of course," Lu Fan agreed without hesitation. He added, "Oh, and tomorrow I’ll take you to the Ice and Snow World. We can spend the whole day there."

"Great!"

And with that, Jiang Silu went to bed, buzzing with excitement.

’A concert today, and the Ice and Snow World tomorrow!’

’Anyone would be jealous of a life like this.’

「At the same time.」

Jiang Sifan had just stepped out of his studio.

He only had one class that morning, so he’d spent the entire afternoon and evening in the studio balancing their accounts.

After a long day’s work, he stepped outside to rest and get some fresh air.

While he was out, Jiang Sifan saw the status update his sister, Jiang Silu, had posted.

Seeing the star so up-close on stage, he, like any young person, felt a pang of envy.

’Those tickets must have been expensive.’

But Jiang Sifan also felt that his sister had really been through a lot over the years.

People always say you should raise a daughter with plenty of love and comfort. Over the years, Jiang Silu had always been so sensible. Whenever she had free time, she would help their mother with chores, and even as she got older, she never asked for money to buy makeup.

Now, Lu Fan had appeared, someone who would finally dote on her.

Although Jiang Sifan didn’t have any particular feelings about Lu Fan, he still hoped the man would spoil his sister properly.

Just then, Wen Wan came out.

She poured Jiang Sifan a glass of warm water and said, "Here, drink some water."

"Thanks." Jiang Sifan took the glass and had a sip.

Wen Wan noticed the video playing on his phone and asked curiously, "What’s that?"

"My sister went to the Northeast for a concert. This is a video she posted," Jiang Sifan explained.

Looking at the atmosphere in the video, Wen Wan couldn’t help but feel a little envious. "Wow, that looks like so much fun."

Jiang Sifan then asked, "So, what singers do you usually like to listen to?"

"Umm... the singer I like is a little unusual," Wen Wan replied, her face turning red.

"Oh? And who’s that?" Jiang Sifan’s curiosity was piqued.

Wen Wan explained, "His name is Mao Buyi. Have you ever heard his music?"

"Haha, of course I have. ’A toast to the morning sun, a toast to the moonlight,’" Jiang Sifan said with a sigh. "Back in my school days, I used to listen to his songs late at night whenever I was feeling emo."

Wen Wan stifled a laugh. "So you have your emo moments too."

"Of course. I’m not some perpetually sunny and cheerful guy," Jiang Sifan said, looking up at the distant, starry sky. "I had just as many things to worry about back then as I do now, if not more."

Wen Wan comforted him, "It’s okay. Everything will pass~"

An idea suddenly struck Jiang Sifan. He turned to Wen Wan and said, "Once our studio gets more clients and we’ve saved up enough money, I’ll take you to see a Mao Buyi concert."

"Won’t that be really expensive? Maybe we should forget it," Wen Wan said quietly.

"What’s there to be afraid of?" Jiang Sifan said, patting his chest. "Whatever other people have, we’ll have it too, eventually. Besides, I’ve never been to a concert either. We can go together."

Hearing him say that, Wen Wan smiled and nodded. "Okay~"

"Come on, I’ll walk you back to your dorm."

"Okay~"

As far as Wen Wan was concerned, whatever Jiang Sifan said, she’d agree.

In her mind, the class president was incredibly capable, and she often felt that his ideas were the right ones.

The two of them chatted and laughed on the way back.

Their dynamic was just like that of a young couple at school.

It wasn’t just Wen Wan who felt this way. Even Jiang Sifan thought that, aside from the kissing and hugging, his relationship with Wen Wan was practically no different from dating.

Of course, for a red-blooded young man like him, a purely platonic relationship was out of the question.

Over the past few days, his feelings for Wen Wan had grown stronger and stronger.

He was almost certain he was genuinely falling for her.

It made Jiang Sifan, looking at Wen Wan’s adorable face, fight the urge to step forward and give her a kiss.

Of course, to try was to die.

If he tried to kiss or hug her without her consent, he’d probably end up at the police station.

Meanwhile, there was He Lingyi, who was eagerly waiting to confess her feelings to him after the college entrance exams next June.

In truth, Jiang Sifan had a pretty good impression of He Lingyi, too.

You could say that of the two girls, one was forward, and the other was shy.
