Chapter 267: Chapter 187: Jiang Silu Visits the Manor for the First Time, Astounded by the Luxury

Their personalities were worlds apart, but their looks and figures were more or less the same.

Jiang Sifan wasn’t the type of guy who only cared about looks, but he couldn’t ignore them entirely either.

Faced with two girls he had feelings for, he was momentarily at a loss as to how to choose.

Oh, and it wasn’t just those two.

Jiang Silu’s roommates seemed to be making some moves as well.

His sister had reminded him before that Lu Yao and Liu Shiting seemed to like him.

Jiang Sifan felt a bit helpless. Why couldn’t these good girls have shown up sooner? Then he wouldn’t have run into that toxic ex.

As for Lu Yao and Liu Shiting, Jiang Sifan only had a moderately favorable impression of them. Lu Yao scored a few extra points in the sexiness department because she could dance.

Liu Shiting was quite mature and handled things well, and he felt very comfortable chatting with her.

He decided to stop thinking about it. He figured he must be falling for one of the three great delusions of life.

The one that goes, ’She likes me.’

’I can’t be *that* popular.’

With that thought in mind, Jiang Sifan returned to his dorm after seeing Wen Wan off.

He had only one goal now: completely crush Xu Junjie and make his account reconciliation business bigger and stronger!

As for Jiang Silu,

she wasn’t thinking about anything too complicated right now.

After a wonderful night’s sleep,

the next day, Lu Fan took her to the Ice and Snow World.

Having grown up in the south, the girl thoroughly enjoyed her day there.

Lu Fan, camera in hand, was snapping picture after picture of Jiang Silu.

Jiang Silu was a little shy at first, but as one beautiful photo was taken after another, she loosened up and started posing more boldly.

She didn’t leave until nightfall, and even then, she was reluctant to go.

Before she left, she told Lu Fan, "I have to bring my brother and my mom here someday. They’d love it."

"Alright. We’ll all come together then," Lu Fan said with a smile.

Hearing this, Jiang Silu nodded, already looking forward to it.

On the way back to Jinling, Jiang Silu was exhausted after a full day of fun.

She fell asleep as soon as she got on the plane.

Even after they landed, she conked out again during the car ride.

Seeing this, Lu Fan thought, ’If I try to take her back to her dorm now, the gates will probably already be locked for the night.’

’It would be better to just take her back to my manor so she can get some proper rest.’

So he told Chen He, "Let’s head back to the manor."

"Alright."

And just like that, Jiang Silu was brought to the manor where Lu Fan lived.

Lu Fan tried calling her name softly a couple of times.

But Jiang Silu was sleeping so deeply she showed no signs of waking.

So he gently lifted Jiang Silu into his arms, intending to carry her to the princess room he had prepared especially for her.

The butler, Old Luo, immediately came forward.

Upon seeing Lu Fan return with Jiang Silu in his arms, he immediately led the way to a beautiful room.

Lu Fan gently laid Jiang Silu on the bed and tucked her in.

Then he spoke to the two personal maids behind him. "Zhichun, Zhixia, from now on, you two will be responsible for the young miss’s daily needs. When she wakes up tomorrow, explain to her what happened."

The two pretty young women nodded. "Yes, Boss."

With one last, gratified look at the sleeping Jiang Silu, Lu Fan left the room.

Jiang Silu, meanwhile, slept soundly until the sun was high in the sky.

She wouldn’t have even wanted to wake up if it weren’t for a sliver of sunlight peeking through the curtains.

She groggily opened her eyes and froze for several seconds.

’Where am I?’

’This isn’t my dorm.’

She looked up at a pale pink, domed ceiling painted with stars and clouds. A crystal chandelier hung from the center, refracting the light into tiny, glittering fragments.

She slowly sat up and found herself in an enormous princess bed. The posts were carved with intricate floral vines, and sheer canopies draped down gently, just like in a fairy tale.

The room was ridiculously large.

Beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows was a small balcony overlooking the manor’s lawn and the distant mountains.

An entire row of white-and-gold wardrobes lined one wall. Next to them was a vanity table laden with brand-new, unopened skincare products.

In a corner sat a small, plush sofa topped with several stuffed animals.

A thick carpet covered the floor, so soft that her bare feet sank into it when she stepped down.

Jiang Silu stood frozen, her mind a complete blank as she stared at a room larger than her entire living room back home.

’Is... is this a hotel?’

Just then, two personal maids entered the room.

One of the maids smiled. "Young Miss, you’re awake. Hello, I’m your personal maid. My name is Zhichun."

"And my name is Zhixia."

"Personal maids?" Jiang Silu was stunned. "Where am I?"

"This is your home, Young Miss," Zhixia replied. "You fell asleep last night, so the Boss brought you here. He had this bedroom prepared for you a long time ago. He said you’re very fond of pink, so he designed it as a pink-themed princess room."

Hearing this, Jiang Silu looked around in disbelief.

It all felt so unreal.

It felt like a dream.

Before she could fully process everything, Zhichun added, "Young Miss, we’ve already drawn a hot bath for you. You can go wash up. Would you like us to give you a massage?"

The moment Jiang Silu heard that, she knew this was all real.

’Yes, this is exactly how it happens in the TV shows!’
