Chapter 1300: Extra Story – Wedding: The Rightest Choice 3

  • Next Chapter

Alice Robinson held up the hem of the bridal gown and glanced at herself in the mirror, smiling gently, “He’s not letting me show these, so I had to choose this one…”

“Miss has excellent taste. This medieval retro design makes you look stunning, just like when Princess Diana got married…”

“My temperament can hardly compare to Princess Diana.”

“But the wedding Mr. Robinson has prepared is comparable to…” Realizing she almost spoiled Chester Robinson’s surprise for Alice Robinson, Aunt PA quickly stopped speaking.

Alice Robinson didn’t ask further because she hadn’t really heard what Aunt PA just said; her mind was in a daze.

“Miss, wait here. I’ll check when Mr. Robinson will come to pick you up. It should be about time…”

Aunt PA left the room, leaving Alice Robinson alone inside.

Alice Robinson stared unblinkingly at her reflection in the mirror, her eyes gradually losing focus.

“Alice.”

Chester Robinson walked in from outside, interrupting her thoughts.

When she turned to look at him, he was already behind her, lovingly wrapping his arms around her waist, “Darling…” He leaned on her slender shoulder, absorbing her body’s fragrance.

Alice Robinson’s face rested against Chester Robinson, not daring to turn her head to see, her hand covered his as he held her.

“The weather’s been bad these days, but today is the best. I think even heaven is blessing us.”

Alice Robinson smiled and nodded.

“Why aren’t you speaking?”

“No reason.”

Chester Robinson smiled and turned Alice Robinson around, “About to marry me, getting a bit nervous?”

Alice Robinson lowered her head slightly, looking a bit shy, “Mhm.”

Chester Robinson lifted her chin, gazing deeply at her flawless and beautiful face, “You’re so beautiful today.”

Alice Robinson looked at him, a slight bashful smile on her lips.

He seemed especially handsome today too.

The tailcoat suit made him look especially tall and elegant, his handsome face impeccable, exuding a charming aura all over.

He’s truly handsome!

“There are still some wedding details I need to handle. I’ll come back to get you in an hour for the ceremony. Remember to relax; my bride can’t be nervous walking down the aisle!” He teased, flicking her nose.

Alice Robinson nodded gently.

He gave her a kiss on the cheek, “Wait for me.”

As she watched him turn to leave, she shouldn’t have stopped him, but she couldn’t help but call out, “Wait, Chester…”

“Yes?”

He turned back, held her waist with both hands, “What’s wrong, darling?”

His delightful masculine scent lingered around her, making her feel attached.

She whispered, “Your bow tie is a bit crooked.”

“Oh.”

She gently adjusted his bow tie, looking very earnest.

Chester Robinson was in a great mood, watching her, his eyes filled with loving glimmers.

“All done.”

He kissed her, “Thank you, my wife.”

“Hurry up and go…”

“Alright.”

He turned to leave, and she silently watched him.

When he reached the door, he suddenly turned back and softly instructed, “Wait here for me, okay?”

Alice Robinson smiled and nodded.

Chester Robinson finally left, disappearing from her view completely.

Alice Robinson took a deep breath, the smile on her face gradually fading.

Holding the gown’s trailing hem, she turned and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window of the room.

It was after ten o’clock, with sunshine neither too hot nor too cold.

She looked up at the sun, the light blinding her eyes.

When she lowered her gaze and opened her eyes, she wasn’t sure if it was due to the light, but her eyes were filled with tears.

Aunt PA walked in from outside, her face glowing as if she were sending off her own daughter, “Miss, the makeup artist said the sun will be strong today. They want to set the makeup again to avoid touch-ups at the venue later…”

Alice Robinson turned around and softly replied, “No need for touch-ups, Aunt PA. Let’s discuss when we reach the wedding venue… I’m a little thirsty, could you make me a fresh orange juice?”

“Look at you, about to get married and still loving fruit juice like a child… Hold on, I’ll tell the makeup artist and juice the fruit for you.”

“Thank you, Aunt PA.”

Ten minutes later, Aunt PA returned to the room with a cup of fresh juice.

“Miss…”

Upon entering the room, Aunt PA discovered that Alice Robinson was no longer there.

Aunt PA was a bit puzzled, put down the juice, and searched the room.

Not seeing Alice Robinson in the room, Aunt PA then searched the entire villa.
