"I will surely prepare it well for her," Kira hugged her mother, "Only you love me the most."

Beth patted her back, "We will see to it when the day comes but first..." She pulled back and looked at Kira.

"Did you forget what tonight is?"

Kira pondered briefly, "Oh... I... it’s fine. Seth won’t mind."

"You dad has already gone to attend his success party. But there is another woman on his arm tonight."

"Mom," Kira laughed, "Do you think I will be jealous or insecure? It’s probably some random woman his secretary arranged to be his date."

Beth looked at Kira in concern.

"Mom, he was in my bed when he had Sienna. Do you think there is a place for any other woman in his eyes?"

Beth inhaled a deep breath, "He is indeed devoted to you. Just, be careful."

...

"It has been barely over an hour since we entered the city and that guy is back on his job again," Leon clicked his tongue, "It will take me seconds to shake him off but you keep asking me to entertain him longer."

"If you don’t entertain him, how would you know who he is entertaining?" In the backseat, Callahan raised his head from his iPad.

Leon turned, "That private investigator panicked and doubted his skills so much that he ran straight to the person who hired him. Your prediction was on point. But, I don’t understand women.’’

"Kira got your brother and they are to be engaged soon. Daniel Qing gifted her the Qing Grand without hesitation while Sienna received the shorter end of the stick," Leon added, "She has everything right now, why is she fixated on finding anything on Sienna?"

Callahan glanced out of the window, the full moon shining bright on the sky above the villa, "With the moon so bright in the sky, who would notice the star struggling to shine?"

"Ah...?" Leon felt like he was drawing blanks, "Since when did you start talking in poetry?"

Callahan gave him a disinterested look, "Fool."

"_"

Leon was exasperated but then he thought of something, "Are you going to tell Sienna about this?"

"Does she need me to tell her about it?" Callahan asked.

"What do you mean... She already knows?" Leon’s eyes popped out.

He suddenly noticed a pattern. Whenever Sienna was with them, he was the one who shook off the tail.

But there were a few days when she drove herself yet that man never reached Magnolia Crest.

"You are truly a match made in heaven... What a shrewd couple," In complete awe, Leon gave Callahan a thumbs up.

...

"Little orange is now Mango, little grey is Mochi and little black is Boba!’’

The moment Callahan entered the cat room, Sienna made a formal introduction of the three gentlemen.

Callahan’s lips twitched, "After weeks of brainstorming and a failed gathering to name them, you decided on food names?"

Hearing the judgement in his tone, Sienna glared at the man, "What’s wrong with food names? Let me tell you, back in Bellhaven, I heard of a custom."

"Oh?" Callahan leaned against the wall and looked at her interest.

"They name their pets after food for longevity. Of course, I want my babies to live forever."

Callahan was about to speak when a little orange fluffball bumped into his ankle.

The man squatted and picked the kitten who easily fit in his single palm, "Is that right, Mango?"

"Mew...’’ The kitten nestled up in Callahan’s palm for a moment but then swiped his claws and jumped off.

Sienna instantly walked towards him, "Let me see..."

Callahan stood up and gave her his hand, letting her examine the tiny scratch, "They take after you."

"When do I ever scratch you? Let’s go to the Master bedroom, I will apply some..."

Sienna’s words were interrupted. She had barely taken a step when a hand firmly wrapped around her waist and yanked her back.

In a swift movement, he picked her up and her legs coiled around him as her back lightly slammed against the wall.

When she looked at him, she was startled for a moment. In his eyes, she could see a dangerous look.

His gaze dipped to her lips, "Butterfly, you can do better things to heal me?"

Sienna’s throat ran dry, "Like?"

Callahan leaned forward and kissed her chin. Then, he peppered small kisses all over her face.

Sienna’s breathing grew uneven, "Mango and Mochi are watching..."

"Let them see that their Daddy treats their Mommy really well. Then, they won’t scratch me in the future,’’ he placed a soft kiss on her earlobe, nuzzling his nose in her hair.

’Ring’ Callahan’s phone buzzed.

"Take the call. I will freshen up," Sienna didn’t look him in the eyes when he placed her back to her feet.

As he watched her fleeing back, Callahan grew amused.

Sienna didn’t know how she made it back to the Master Bedroom.

Her mind had grown muddled and her legs had grown weak.

When she opened the door to the master bedroom, her eyes widened.

The room was warmly lit by a few candles and the faint scent of orchids floated in the room.

Near the french window, delicate orchid bouquets were beautifully arranged.

In the center of the room, there was a round table with most of her favorite dishes served on it.

Sienna’s eyes lit up. She closed the door behind her and entered the walk in closet.

...

In the lavish ballroom of Qing Grand.

"Old Master, I hadn’t expected your arrival," Daniel Qing respectfully led Old Master Hawke to a private area.

Old Master Hawke looked towards the center of the ballroom where Seth was surrounded by a group of influential men.

The moment they caught sight of him, they began to approach him.

But Old Master Hawke raised a hand and shook his head, "He is my grandson and this is his success party. How can I not show up?" Old Master Hawke said.

"That’s right. That’s right. Then Master Hawke and Madam Hawke...?"
