Of course, she had come ahead of time to warn Lou and the Holy Daughters.

She didn’t reveal herself. Instead, she was invisible.

After Blake’s phone call, he had his men turn off the invisibility detection device.

Chen Xing appeared invisibly before the Holy Daughters and told them that Blake meant them harm.

Although Lou couldn’t see Chen Xing, he knew the Invisibility Ability existed.

He was grateful enough that she had warned them; of course, he wasn’t going to force her to reveal herself.

"Thank you for warning us. I knew Blake couldn’t be trusted!" He didn’t have a solid plan at the moment.

He had originally planned to pressure Blake into letting them leave early.

He hadn’t expected Blake to be so ruthless. Not even the pressure from the Holy Hall’s followers could hold him back.

Blake was dead set on making an enemy of every Holy Hall follower.

"As long as you can get out of this building, I can arrange for you to leave Hulton!" Chen Xing had already coordinated with Song Yiguo.

He felt that helping the Holy Hall’s Holy Daughters was a way to ensure some stability for himself.

The worse the apocalypse got, the stronger the followers’ faith became.

The once-inconspicuous Holy Hall now had a massive following. They were not a group to be crossed; it was best to be on good terms with them.

Lou glanced at the Holy Daughters.

Most of these young women had superpowers, but they were all auxiliary. Fighting their way out was simply not an option.

"I’ll draw them away. You find a chance to escape!" Chen Xing said, pointing to their garments. "But I’ll need one of your Holy Clothes!"

With the plan settled, Chen Xing changed into the Holy Clothes and applied makeup to make herself resemble them.

She lay on the bed, waiting for them to arrive.

The Holy Daughters and Lou hid in a public restroom close to the room where Chen Xing waited.

Not long after everything was ready, they heard doors being opened one after another.

The Holy Daughters’ faces went white with fear.

"The girl helping us won’t be in danger, will she?" The Holy Daughters couldn’t help but worry.

Lou, also nervous, watched the corridor. "She took the initiative to help us, so she must have a way to escape!"

Even though he had never met Chen Xing, he just had a feeling.

A moment later, they heard footsteps in the hall.

Chen Xing was being carried into the hallway by several people.

At first glance, it looked like some sort of paranormal event, with a woman seemingly floating through the air.

"What are you doing...?" she yelled, struggling free from their grasp and immediately bolting down the hall.

She darted up and down the building. Not only the invisible Superpower Users, but Blake’s entire army joined the chase, yet they still couldn’t catch her.

It was no use. They tried to restrain her with superpowers, but whenever an ability was launched at her, a protective shield would materialize, leaving her completely unharmed.

While she was leading them on this chaotic chase, the lobby downstairs emptied out.

Lou led the Holy Daughters down to the first floor.

Just then, a bomb thrown from outside shattered the main doors of the lobby.

The group of more than ten people made it outside the building without a hitch.

At that moment, Blake’s guards heard the explosion and rushed out in pursuit.

But they were already in a vehicle, speeding away.

Meanwhile, Chen Xing, knowing they had safely escaped the building, pretended to have exhausted her superpower and retracted her shield.

She became a helpless damsel at their mercy and was shoved down into the basement.

After being pushed in, the door behind her was locked.

The basement was dark and damp. The sound of dripping water echoed from its depths, adding an eerie atmosphere.

Chen Xing descended the stairs, step by step.

The spiral staircase led down two floors to a spacious chamber.

She slowly walked to the center and looked up, just in time to see the full moon hanging in the sky through a high glass window.

’This place really gives off a sacrificial vibe,’ she thought.

A faint pattern was drawn on the floor beneath her feet, and directly ahead stood a stone sculpture.

It was a creature with the wings of an Angel but the snarling face of a Devil.

Just then, a small dark cloud drifted past, obscuring the moon.

Simultaneously, the pattern at Chen Xing’s feet began to slowly rotate.

She tried to back away, wanting to step out of the marked pattern.

But a sudden force seemed to latch onto her, holding her in place.

She knew exactly where the force was coming from.

It was emanating from the strange statue directly in front of her.

But the statue hadn’t moved at all.

Chen Xing wasn’t superstitious. She had saved Lou and the Holy Daughters, yes, but not because she was a believer in the Holy Hall. She simply couldn’t stand to see the young women come to harm.

Of course, a part of it was also a desire to get on the Holy Hall’s good side.

So... even now, facing this inexplicable force, she didn’t think it was the work of a Devil.

With a slight exertion of strength, she broke free from its pull.

"Get lost!" a raspy, elderly man’s voice echoed from the shadows. "Where did you find this one? She’s not simple!"

"Hahaha!" Blake laughed without holding back. "Just because you’re incompetent, you’re saying the Holy Daughter is tough? Just admit you’re old, you old monster!"

He didn’t bother to look closely at the Holy Daughter standing with her back to him to see if it was the same one from before. He just stepped forward and gave her a shove.

However, he had pushed with considerable force, yet the Holy Daughter didn’t budge an inch.

Only then did he look closely at Chen Xing. "You’re not a Holy Daughter?"

"She isn’t a Holy Daughter, but she’s no different from one!" the man in the shadows growled, pulling with all his might, trying to drag Chen Xing into his grasp.

But to his surprise, she still didn’t move an inch.

It was Blake who suddenly sensed something was wrong. He backed away warily. "The Holy Daughters’ escape... that was you?"

"Yes!" Chen Xing replied. A knife suddenly materialized in her hand, and she hurled it toward the Invisible Man in the shadows.

The Invisible Man was impressive. He somehow managed to dodge her attack. "You dare launch a sneak attack on me?" With that, an immense suction force, like a hurricane, began to pull everything in.

Both Chen Xing and Blake were pulled toward him.

But halfway there, Chen Xing vaulted off Blake’s shoulder, launching herself out of the force’s range.

Having steadied herself, she was about to absorb the suction superpower when a blast of heat shot out from behind her, nearly hitting its mark.

She could only dodge, leaping to the other side of the room.

She looked toward the entrance to see Cheng Cheng, dressed in a navel-baring, orange crop-top sweater. Looking as dangerous as a malicious pixie, she was already launching a second deadly attack.
