Chapter 880 – Plushies and Foxes

With the plushies out of the way. She had to prepare a few more things.

First thing first.

"I'm here for the food." Moon Aiko had to stockpile a lot more food than she expected as the injured Demonic Foxes ate more than ever before.

This caused her a small pain, since she had to make sure she had enough food as they wouldn't be able to go out of her tails any time soon.

'I have to be careful about my Human Body Stage.' Moon Aiko didn't know how that stage would work and how it would affect her storage, but it was probably nothing good.

'And distribute the Treasures from the twin owls.' Moon Aiko nodded her head. Mei will need this if she wants to 'convince' the Beast Sect to let them in.

'Right, I should tell her, just in case.' Moon Aiko turned on her heels. She only got a bit of food as there were not enough Foxes cooking. Almost everyone was doing something around the continental flying ship, so it couldn't be helped.

"Mei~" Moon Aiko barged in once again.

"What is it this time?" Mei sighed. She was already tired from all this paperwork and Aiko's enthusiasm never spelled anything good for her.

"I have a few Treasures, weapons and such, how about distributing it to the Foxes?" Moon Aiko gestured.

"We will have to decide that based on loyalty to us, so just leave them in the next room and I will see what I can do about it later." Mei gestured to Aiko to leave, since she really had too much work.

"It won't fit." Guessing the size of the room next to this one, it was obvious everything wouldn't fit.

Mei clicked her tongue. "Just store it somewhere out of sight, or if you are not bothered by it, I will seek you out once we get to the distribution part.

"I don't mind." Moon Aiko smiled before leaving the room. It was obvious she was not welcome at this moment, so she would just have to return later.

"Next up..." Moon Aiko had a lot to do, but she also didn't want to do anything.

'Let's get the plushies and distribute them.' Moon Aiko wanted to do something simple and this was simple enough.

Even if there were only a few of them, giving them to the Foxes in the rehabilitation zone was important.

'I wonder if we should also make dolls with small clothes?' Moon Aiko had a few more ideas, but dolls were usually made out of wood, so they were hard and not really huggable.

She walked towards the rehabilitation zone, attracting a lot of attention.

However, this time she hid the plushies, so she didn't feel as embarrassed as before.

Arriving at the scene, it seemed like the Foxes in this place got more used to her. Or they were waiting for her to do something crazy again.

Well, either way, Moon Aiko would give them the plushies.

Moon Aiko smiled gently. "I have some finished plushies, who would like to have them fir-"

She was immediately swarmed by the Foxes, and before she could even react, all the plushies were gone.

Moon Aiko's lips twitched. This was such a ridiculous situation that she didn't know how to react.

Those Foxes were shy/timid? As if! They were like hungry Foxes waiting for prey to get close enough to them so that they could bite them!

'I feel like those plushies were a mistake.' Moon Aiko's lips tightened briefly, but she soon gave up. She saw the affected Foxes smiling and chatting between each other, especially those that had the plushies.

'Scary gazes.' Moon Aiko shuddered once the other Foxes looked at her, as if they were trying to figure out if she was hiding anything else.

'Nothing good will come out of this.' As expected, Moon Aiko immediately escaped from the premise, and she would have someone else deliver it next time as it seemed dangerous.

A sleeping sound drifted into her ears.

'This girl...' Moon Aiko sighed. Seeing the girl that was from the delegation, still sleeping soundly. 'I wonder if she will ever wake up.' She noticed a few 'strings' attached to her head, but for now they were not something she had to care about.

If something about them changed, then Moon Aiko would immediately investigate.

"Aiko~" Yuxi greeted Aiko very enthusiastically.

"Yuxi." Moon Aiko smiled at her, making her squeal from happiness.

"Mistress." Wanshu was a bit stiff compared to Yuxi, but she also felt more professional.

"What are you up to?" Moon Aiko was curious why Yuxi was here, but not curious enough to ask. She smelled more work, after all...

"We just finished some scouting missions." Yuxi smiled happily. She wanted to chat with Aiko more, but they had to give the report to Mei.

"There are some Beasts heading this way. It seems like they finally noticed that those Ancestral Beasts are missing." Wanshu gave more context to Aiko, since it seemed like Yuxi was too excited to explain everything.

"Should I be worried?" Moon Aiko turned towards Wanshu.

'Elegant, but sexy.' Moon Aiko nodded her head approvingly, but unlike her 'dark' outfit. The Twins had a very... 'sticky' outfit.

It clung to their skin, accentuated their curves and possibly happiness.

"No. Not for the time being. The Beasts are moving their whole nests, so they have to take it slow. Some also have to hide here and there as they are quite the delicacy when roasted." Wanshu gestured like she was eating. Honestly, she was quite cute.

"Can we hunt them ourselves?" Moon Aiko wanted to delay them, so that Mei didn't need to hurry as much.

"If we attack them now. They might be able to trace us to this place." Wanshu shook her head.

"Well, we could probably wipe another nest or two, but any more, and we will be in trouble." Yuxi sighed. It was unfortunate that she couldn't bring over something nice to eat for Aiko.

'So we would have to play wave defence...' Moon Aiko smacked her lips. She didn't mind doing that, but she had to be careful about a few things.

Main being, the inability to respawn, and powerful, almost cheat-like, resources.

"Anything else happening in the world?" Moon Aiko smiled at them.

"The large Sects are bitching about not having enough Outer Disciples. All thanks to a certain stampede." Wanshu didn't want to call Aiko out, but it was difficult since she had hands in almost everything that was happening in the world.

"Seriously, I wonder who did that." Moon Aiko shook her head.

"I wonder too~" Yuxi joined the conversation. She seemed to be more happy-go-lucky than before, but that might be possible because Wanshu was around.

They were connected closely, so Wanshu probably kept some rein over Yuxi.

Moon Aiko chatted with them for a while, until they had to finally leave and report their findings...

Moon Aiko walked around the meadow, spotting a certain pair of Foxes.

'Oh, wasn't that like... Fire Fox and Ice Fox? Blaze Fox and Glacial Fox?' Moon Aiko mulled over their nicknames, but she couldn't remember them. It's been a while since she saw them and they seemed quite lovey-dovey-

*Smack*

'Are they fighting?' Moon Aiko pursed her lips. Sure enough, the Glacial Fox was now chasing the Blazing Fox around because of something.

"Hello." However, Moon Aiko didn't care about that and greeted them, as she didn't see them any time soon.

The Glacial Fox stopped pulling on his hair and looked around.

Overly long ears? Check.

Cute complexion? Check.

Stoic temperament? Check.

Simple clothes? Check.

Other Foxes fawning over her? Check.

"Hello. Long time no see." It clicked for the Glacial Fox, and she greeted her with a smile.

"Is everything alright?" Their position was questionable at best right now, but she was a bit worried about their relationship.

"It's fine." The Glacial Fox smiled at her. 'I can't tell her that he smacked my ass in public...' Her lips were subtly twitching, but Moon Aiko decided to ignore that part.

"Won't he turn bald?" Moon Aiko gestured towards him.

"No, I already tried." The Glacial Fox said bluntly.

"What?" Moon Aiko blinked her eyes at her.

"What?" The Glacial Fox pretended like she never said anything.

"..." Moon Aiko kept staring at her.

"..." The Glacial Fox shamelessly kept her deadpan expression.

"What were you up to?" Moon Aiko wanted to know about their story a bit more.

"Well..." The Glacial Fox laughed awkwardly. They were always following her around, but since she was so liked, there were too many Foxes following her. 'She probably won't be able to remember us.' She was convinced that the Vicious Jade Fox wouldn't be able to remember all the time they crossed paths, since it was usually in larger groups.

The Glacial Fox smiled and told a few stories about them.

How they were briefly captured by the Human Cultivators, but then suddenly rescued by a beautiful, black-haired Foxes with 9 tails.

There were even stories about destruction and escape. It was simply wonderful to listen to.

"What are you planning to do in the future?" Moon Aiko was curious, very curious.

"Since this guy is trying to impregnate me, I have no idea." The Glacial Fox was very blunt, but graceful in her conduct... ignoring the fact that she almost made her partner bald.

"How about trying to create some nice gardens or Treasures?" Moon Aiko suggested that she take up some more hobbies.

"I'm of the Ice attribute. So at best I can make just special Pills. I can't Forge due to my temperature." The Glacial Fox shook her head.

"I try to warm her up, but it always ends up messy." The Blazing Fox joined the conversation.

*Slap*

"What did I tell you about this?!" The Glacial Fox was embarrassed by him.

"Then how about dancing?" Moon Aiko suggested yet another hobby.

"Believe me. He would love that, and that's why I don't want to do it." The Glacial Fox snorted unhappily.

The Blazing Fox smirked. "It's every man's dream to see that ass shak-"

*Whack*

The Glacial Fox whacked him away, so that he couldn't make any more inappropriate remarks.
