The Cat Cub grew shy from her kiss, lowering its head but unable to resist peeking up at her.

The Cat Cub finally relaxed, leaning back to show her its belly and act cute.

The other cubs watched with envy. They jumped down from the table one after another and pawed at her leg, calling out, "Mother, Mother..."

’There’s my opening!’ Bai Wanwan thought. ’This male is just playing hard to get, waiting for me to coax him!’

After a very long time, Yin Ze ran out of patience and pushed the door open.

Bai Wanwan quickly let go. Chou Rong grunted softly, raising a hand to wipe a trace from the corner of her mouth.

Then, as if nothing had happened, he stood up and called for the cubs to leave.

Bai Wanwan snapped back to reality and quickly hugged the tiger cub and the Cat Cub to her chest. "I thought you weren’t mad anymore? Why are you still taking them away?"

The cubs were also reluctant to leave their Mother. Their not-so-little bodies clung tightly to her, refusing to budge an inch.

Chou Rong huffed out a laugh. ’The moment they get their Mother back, these cubs forget all about their Father Beast.’

"Fine. If you want to stay, then stay."

Bai Wanwan wrapped her arms around the tiger cub’s neck and gave it a kiss. "Your Father Beast has agreed. How about Mother cuts up some meat for you to eat?"

"Bai Wanwan."

"Yes...?"

Her voice was so soft that Chou Rong’s own tone softened unconsciously. "No other Beastman can know their identities right now. So, if you’re going to keep them with you, try not to let them go outside for the time being."

"Okay, okay. I won’t go anywhere. I’ll stay right here at home with them."

Only then did Chou Rong agree. After giving the cubs a final instruction, he turned to leave.

As he passed by the doorway of the stone house, the two males stopped simultaneously, sizing each other up.

"You’re Wanwan’s Beast Husband?" Yin Ze asked, his gaze scrutinizing.

Chou Rong ignored the question. "Where are the other males who were with her?"

Yin Ze didn’t press the issue. He had seen the cubs with his own eyes. Their scent was unmistakable—they belonged to Wanwan and the male before him.

A bitter taste filled his mouth. "I found her in an underground river. There were no other males with her at the time."

After listening, Chou Rong nodded. "Take good care of her. This place isn’t safe. Above all, don’t let any other Beastmen know that she and the cubs have any connection to me."

Yin Ze frowned. "Why? If you’re not willing to acknowledge them, then you might as well let me take her away."
