Yin Ze felt that if he didn’t love Wanwan so fiercely, he wouldn’t be a good Beast Husband.

If the male before him would just agree, he would take Wanwan away immediately.

Chou Rong narrowed his eyes, his voice a low warning. "If you dare take her away before she recovers her memories, you will be making an enemy of my Tiger Clan."

Yin Ze was not intimidated by his presence. They were both Orange Rank males.

Besides, he was a Flying Beastman. If he wanted to take Wanwan and leave, no one could stop him.

"I was able to bring her here, so I can take her away."

As the two males faced off in a tense standoff, Bai Wanwan wisely chose to keep her head down.

Fortunately, Chou Rong seemed to have other business. After saying his piece, he turned and left their stone house.

Yin Ze looked back to see Bai Wanwan cracking a small smile.

His heart softened once more. ’Forget it. It’s my own fault for meeting Wanwan too late. She has other Beast Husbands, and I just have to accept that.’

With the cubs clinging to her, Bai Wanwan couldn’t go and comfort Yin Ze.

She spent the entire day with the little ones, even giving each of them a bath.

Once they were clean and fresh-smelling, she made a special nest for them in a corner with some beast skins.

The cubs lay side-by-side as Bai Wanwan sat next to them, stroking their heads and humming the lullabies she remembered from her own childhood.

The cubs’ eyes curved up in happiness.

Their eyelids grew heavier and heavier, but they would snap them open again to check that Bai Wanwan was still there before relaxing once more.

After this happened a few more times, the cubs finally fell into a deep sleep.

Bai Wanwan slowly got up. When she turned, she saw that Yin Ze had already prepared water for her to wash up.

After Bai Wanwan finished, Yin Ze, for his part, showed no outward sign of his unhappiness.

But she knew he was hurting inside.

After lying down on the bed, she snuggled into his arms, trying to think of something to talk about.

Yin Ze’s voice came from above her. "You know how to coax him, so why not me?"

"You... you saw?"

Bai Wanwan hugged his waist and snuggled deeper into his embrace. "Alright, I’ll coax you too. So, how do you want me to coax you?"

Yin Ze remained still, restraining himself. "No."

Bai Wanwan then traced a path down from his chin. The moment her lips landed on his neck, Yin Ze could no longer control himself. In one swift motion, he flipped over, pinning her in his embrace.

"Wanwan, you’re too naughty."

Yin Ze’s desire was ignited. A Beast Skin Skirt fell to the floor.

But at the last moment, Yin Ze reined himself in, merely holding her and kissing her again.

Bai Wanwan’s whole body was flushed a light pink. She curled up in his arms. "What’s wrong?"

Yin Ze sucked in a breath, struggling to hold back. "Not yet. We have to wait until after we’re mated."

With that, he quickly got up, pulling the beast skin over to cover her.

"I’m going out for a bit. You get some sleep."

Having been stirred up by him, Bai Wanwan was indeed a bit sleepy. She yawned and quickly drifted off to sleep.

When she woke up in the morning, Yin Ze was still lying beside her.

She rolled over and snuggled into his arms, wanting to sleep a little longer.

But she was soon fully awakened by the sounds of the cubs.

She sat up, yawning.

The cubs, who had been lying far away so as not to disturb her, immediately scurried over the moment they saw she was awake. They wagged their tails happily and nudged their heads toward her, asking for pets.

Bai Wanwan smiled and obliged each of them. "Are you hungry? I’ll get up and cut some meat for you."

Yin Ze went hunting every day, and the prey he brought back was more than enough for them and the cubs.

Just as she stood up, Yin Ze woke up too.

"You play with them. I’ll go."

Yin Ze rolled out of bed and quickly wrapped his beast skin around himself.

He opened the door just in time to see Chou Rong striding toward them.

Yin Ze turned his head and said to Bai Wanwan inside, "Wanwan, the Tiger Clan’s Young Clan Leader is here again."

Hearing that her Beast Husband had arrived, Bai Wanwan immediately smiled and said to the cubs, "Your Father Beast is here to see you again!"

She had just woken up and hadn’t yet washed up, but her face was one uniquely favored by the heavens.

Even in her disheveled state, she possessed a fresh, natural beauty.

After Chou Rong entered, his gaze swept over her. "Get your things. In a little while, you’re moving somewhere else with me."
