" And that what happened." Said Adrian in a low painful voice.

" I see, but why are the two of you so pale? You shouldn’t be sick right?" Annie asked, she was confused.

As werewolves, they should be highly resistant to sickness but looking at the two of them, that didn’t seem to be the case.

" I don’t know what type of disease is this but it’s rotting out entire body inside out." Said Adrian.

Annie could hear him trying to hide the pain but looking into his eyes, she saw the agony he was going through.

Sanchez on the other hand was not far from fainting, she had her fangs around Adrian’s arm drinking his blood.

" My blood is increasing her regenerative ability, it’s the only thing keeping her alive right now.

I don’t know how long that will last before her hearts turn into sludge." Said Adrian. Annie scanned the two of them.

" Dear god Adrian." She panicked and lunged to grab him but collided with an invisible force and was pushed back.

" Stay back, I’ve isolated the two of us, you can’t get past the barrier, you’ll be infected too."

" I don’t care, I can survive without a heart I’ll be fine let me through." Annie argued.

" Calm down and think things through, what good will that do? You still have much to take care of.

If you’re infected by this as well, you won’t be able to do much but isolate yourself as we have.

If this thing can effect our bodies to this extent, can you images what it can do to those with weaker bodies?"

His question calmed her down, " You’re right I’m sorry, I panicked, what do you want me to do?" She asked.

" Firstly, we need a way to stop Sanchez’s body from degrading, contact Suzie, tell her to place a barrier around our entire domain.

Contact Meggie and that Sapienta girl, we need them to run test on whatever this is, it might give us a clue on how to take Pestilence down."

" I understand, but don’t we have that potion? We already have a way to defeat Pestilence." Said Annie.

" Yeah but administering the potion is the hard part, I believe we need to get Pestilence’s host to consume it.

The thing is, Pestilence can change hosts like costumes, their reaction is also incredibly fast, even for me."

Annie nodded, " I understand, I’ll contact Meggie, she gave us the potion, she’ll have a better clue on how to take Pestilence down.

As for finding something to stop Sanchez’s body from degrading and melting, that might be hard.

We need either something that can suppress Pestilence’s authority or literally stop time."

Annie sighed, " I don’t know where we can find something like that, maybe we can try using the potion." She suggested.

" No." Adrian disagreed, " The potion is too important, we don’t know how much we’ll need to take down Pestilence."

Adrian looked at her, " It’s up to you, your psionic lunar esper is powerful, even more powerful than my own.

You can turn illusion into reality, try to create it." He suggested.

Annie didn’t register his words at first but when they clicked, she looked at him like he was insane.

" Adrian, I think you’re expecting too much, all my abilities can do is parlor tricks, I can’t create something like that.

I can create a coffin but I can’t make it stop time within itself, such an ability is beyond my power." She argued.

" No it’s not, I’m not saying it will be easy but I know you can do it, just try."

She sighed, " I really think you’re asking too much, do you really believe I can do this?"

He nodded, " Without a shadow of doubt." He answered.

" Okay, I’ll try." She sat down and closed her eyes. A coffin appeared in front of her, it was illusory as first.

Slowly it gained formed becoming more and more physical, the wind started flowing around it instead of through it.

Annie’s face twisted from the strain, sweat trickled down her forehead, a wave of pure psionic lunar esper flowed into the coffin.

Her finger pierced into the concrete floor beneath her, the roof they were standing on cracked.

Finally the coffin was fully created, she opened her eyes and took a deep breath.

" Is it done?" He asked, no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t sense what’s special about the coffin.

" No, this is just the first stage, even this took nearly 30 percent of my esper, I need time to regenerate it.

If I was making a coffin out of lunar esper alone, it would be much easier but then it won’t be permanent.

So I have to make it out of wood, which is much harder." She complained.

" Then why didn’t you have me make the coffin instead?" Adrian asked, " That would’ve been easy for me."

" Because it wouldn’t work, it has to be my own esper all the way, that way the coffin will merge seamlessly with the time clock."

" Time clock?" He asked.

" It’s what I’m planning to use to stop the flow of time inside the coffin, it’s easier to create things when you have a visual image.

Its much easier to imagine a clock being able to freeze." Annie answered, after some time, her esper had fully regenerated.

She placed the coffin down then started the second phase, her psionic lunar esper flowed like a gentle stream.

It drew an illusory green clock on top of the coffin lid. Adrian activated his left eye and watched everything.

’ So that’s how it works, it might not be as hard as I had imagined but to do this subconsciously, impressive.’

Adrian knew he was a monster but he was still impressed by what Annie was doing, she was basically creating a new ability.

She didn’t have the power to stop time so she not only imagined it but was actively infusing it into the clock.

’ This is even more impressive that when I created the wheel, I only infused abilities I already had on the weapons.

Yes that made them much much stronger but I already had them, she’s drawing new patterns from scratch.’

Creating an ability was not just about imagining how it worked, you had to draw new patterns for it.

Even he didn’t think he could do that. He started coping those patterns and before long saw a path.

’ She’s barely drawn 10 percent of the patterns, she might not succeed like this.’ Adrian thought to himself.

He didn’t even realise that he had just drawn the remaining 90 percent in his head thus doing what he believed he could not.

" Let me help you." He sent an image of the patterns she was supposed to draw making her work much easier."
