Pestilence’s body turned into mist and spread out, the mist seemed to pierce through space itself.

It reached every corner of both worlds in a few minutes, those infected were cured, even those whose sickness had nothing to do with Pestilence’s arrival were healed.

Adrian didn’t pay attention to any of that, his eyes were locked on the woman below, his silver eyes met her golden glowing eyes.

Tension shook the air, ’ It’s her.’ Adrian could feel the familiar threatening aura from this woman that he couldn’t explain.

So far he hadn’t find Anything that can permanently kill him but standing in front of this woman gave him the feeling of mortality.

Hundreds of metres below, Arthuretta was also studying Adrian, ’ He’s stronger than last time.

His progress seems to be faster than mine, he’s a threat, I need to remove him before it’s too late.’

Arthuretta came to that conclusion, ’ That will piss off those damn angels with their obsession with destiny and fuck.

Fuck them, if I’ll have to fight him someday, I might as well get it over with right now.’ She stood up.

Her dress disappeared and was replaced by golden armour, a golden sword appeared in front of her.

She grabbed it, as soon as her hand touched its handle blinding golden light drowned the entire city.

However the humans below were not shaken by this, this was the territory of the Pendragon clan.

It was natural for somebody of that clan to use their powers here, on the contrary they were excited.

Seeing a member of the Pendragon in action was rare, everybody gathered on the street to watch.

" Look, up there." One person shouted and everybody looked up, it was then that they discovered Adrian and Annie.

" Who are they? Don’t they know whose territory this is?"

" Don’t mind them, they’re just fools who don’t know what’s good for them."

Adrian naturally heard their conversation, " Let’s go." He grabbed Annie’s hand and teleported away.

He was still exhausted from fighting Pestilence, even though his body had healed, his mind was taking longer.

Healing the mind was not so easy, even with the potion in action. They left and went back to his territory.

" It doesn’t seem Pestilence’s authority affected this place as much thanks to your wheel." Said Annie.

Back on the Pendragon territory, Arthuretta watched the two of them disappear and clicked her tongue.

She took to the skies and flew like a bolt of lightning heading straight for the werewolve’s territory.

Arthuretta did not have any teleportation ability but she had an ability that could allow her to fly long distances with the same burst speed she uses in battle.

She did this by riding her golden sword, the ability was just hard to control, she couldn’t use near the ground where there are many obstacles.

She accelerated even faster and in a blink of an eye reached more than 1/2 the speed of light.

Alguard was huge, even moving at this speed, it would still take her some time to reach the werewolf territory.

Arthuretta was busy strategizing, she knew she might have to fight the entire pack, arrogant as she was, she was not a fool.

Adrian by himself already posed a threat, let alone if he had thousands of werewolves behind him.

A beam of light descended in front of her blocking her path, Arthuretta failed to stop and crashed on it.

" Ouch ouch ouch." She rubbed her sore head and looked up only to meet two disapproving eyes.

" L..lord Metatron, what brings you here?" She asked while slowly retreating.

Metatron gently flapped his wings, an invisible force stopped Arthuretta from moving even an inch.

" Child, I had told you, it is not time, do not test destiny." Said Metatron.

Arthuretta closed her eyes in frustration, " I don’t get it, I could take him out right now why do I have to wait?

If the point is to kill him in the end then isn’t it more efficient to do it when he’s weaker? Not to mention he’s not alone.

Have you seen the growth speed of his pack, a hundred years, that’s all it took for them to reach the level of some old clans and kingdoms.

Even now as a mere level 8 he’s strong enough to pose some threat to some Demigods."

Said Arthuretta, she knew this because she felt a bit of a threat when facing him and she was strong enough to fight some weaker Demigods.

Metatron sighed, his aged eyes laced with frustration. " It is not your place nor mine to question what is written.

Your destiny is written in stone and so is his, you cannot fight it, I’m not stopping you because it’s fun.

Believe me child, I would rather not deal with you right now but if you test destiny, destiny will respond, now, go back home."

Arthuretta knew she wouldn’t be able to change Metatron’s mind, she grumbled under her breath and left.

But she was still worried about Adrian’s growth, it surpassed even her own or so she thought.

In actuality they were around the same age and had the same growth speed even though Adrian had a shortcut.

Arthuretta was merely confused by the fact that she was stronger than him not long ago but now he’s caught up to her.

Adrian had no idea he was almost forced into a fight with Arthuretta, in his current state it might not have went well for him.

He sent a pack call to Melissa and asked her about her side. Melissa was still in Atlantis but she was almost done now.

The Gadra wave had thinned significantly since they arrived, the number of hearts they’ve collected were enough to increase the strength of the pack by a significant level.

Fortunately there weren’t many level 8 Gadra and those that appeared died silently in the sea.

The people of Atlantis had no idea what happened but Melissa and the pack knew that was Eve.

" There were a lot of them, something must’ve drawn them here." Said Melissa to the king of Atlantis.

The giant mermen nodded, " It would be unjust to hide it from our benefactor, indeed there is.

As you know, our people are considered a treasure of immortality and power growth by others.

The woman with royal blood especially, recently my wife and I had a daughter, the youngest of my children.

Also the one with the purest bloodline, it was her birth that drew the Gadra here and I suspect, they might not be the only one."

Melissa sniffed the air, " I can’t smell her."

" Indeed, we’ve sealed her but we were too late by then."

Melissa nodded, " That’s good, we can’t afford more Gadra waves, now, tell your people to pack, We’re leaving."

( Author’s Note)

I’m sorry about the updating rate, I tried writing as much as I could but i can’t. I wish i could explain why.

But I can’t, I just feel lost, I can’t focus and lack the energy to do anything. Everything I write feels wrong.

So I really can’t promise when I’ll get back to the regular rate but I’ll do the best I can.
