The other six woke up, their memories were fuzzy at first, the last thing they remembered was one of their own being dragged to the dark.

" Merdock!" His girlfriend shouted panicking, she heard a groan coming from a dark corner of the room.

This terrified her and the others, Merdock walked out with unsteady steps, holding his head as if it hurt.

" What happened?" He asked, they looked at each other in confusion.

" I..I don’t know I just woke up, we should probably go, something is wrong with this house." Replied Bertha.

She rushed to support Merdock and all six walked out then stopped in front of the door, " Guys, where’s Samantha?" Sbahle asked.

They looked at each other then back inside the house, they could see the hesitation in each others eyes.

" I...she’s smarter than all of us, she’s probably fine." Said Bertha but it was clear she was just scared.

The others did not call her out, why would they when she’s provided such an excellent excuse.

They ran from the house to their cars, Samantha’s car was still there but she was nowhere to be found.

As soon as they started the car’s engines, the house crumbled like a sand castle as if its very foundation had been eaten by moths.

" Drive drive drive." They took off and drove as far away from the house as possible as fast as they could.

Not even an hour after they left, a group of people in dark hooded robes appeared, leading them were two in priest’s attires.

They made a silent prayer gesture in front of the fallen house, one is the robed people stood forward.

He took out a yellow eyes hanging from a chain and held it before him, the eyes had flame marks on its.

" Lux sancta revela quod occultum est." He chanted a spell, the eyes hanging before him ignited into flames.

A beam of light shot out from its pupils and scanned the ruins of the house, two aura rose from the house.

The man turned towards the two priests, " The house was corroded by the energy of the end.

An angel clashed with demons here." He reported honestly. The priests looked at each other.

" An angel, how come the high pope did not mention this?" One of them asked but the other couldn’t answer.

"An angel without a host cannot roam the mortal world for long, it’s either they have a host or they’ll reveal themselves soon.

Find out if there were any humans nearby in the last twenty four hours." The priest orders the monks.

They prepared their relics and channeled their magic, after a while they came out with nothing.

" We cannot find anything, if there were humans, the energy of the end erased their auras." Reported the monk.

" Then search that car, it doesn’t seem to have been here for too long." Ordered the priest.

They all turned their heads then looked at each other, " How in the god’s name did we not see that?" They asked each other.

They searched the car and found a towel, " Will this be enough?" Asked a monk to another.

Each had their speciality in magic, occult magic was quite vast as long as you have something to channel.

One of them was a master of tracking magic, it was the monk whose relic was an eagle’s eye in flames.

This eyes was created when an eagle type Gadra who has lived for at least a hundred years dies in magical flames.

By magical it meant any flames containing esper, the grievances and anguish of the eagle is contained in the eye, yet it was a holy relic.

He took the towel, drew a octastar magic circle on the ground, placed 8 candles on each corner and the towel at the centre.

Then started chanting, the eagle eye relic swayed left to right, flames Ignited on its pupil.

Then he felt his vision being dragged rapidly to a far distance until he was on an empty road stretching to the horizon.

A young teenage girl was walking alone on this road, " Found you." Whispered the monk.

Suddenly the girl stopped and looked at him catching him off guard. ’ How..can she see me? No that isn’t possible.’ he told himself.

" It is rude to spy on others mortal and for that, you will be punished." Said the girl in an angelic voice.

His ears buzzed, his eardrums ruptured, the girl’s eyes turned a blinding white, " AHHHHHH!" The monk screamed.

Holy light shot out of his eyes like they were glowing lamps, his relic exploded into a bust of flames and disappeared.

When the light disappeared he fell on the floor and stopped moving, burnt holes were left where his eyes had been

" What happened to him?" Asked one of the monks.

" He gazed upon the form of an angel, so it’s true, an angel has descended but why didn’t the high pope warn us?" One of the priests asked.

The other didn’t answer, he was older than his partner, he felt something was wrong about this.

Unfortunately he couldn’t consult the monks either, they were just magic fanatics who know nothing but to destroy the enemies of the church.

Even if they knew the answer he doubted they would reveal it to them. " Take this one back to the church for healing.

Who amongst you know a spell to search the mind?" He asked, a female monk stood forward.

" I do priest, what do you want me to do?" She asked.

" I want you to search the mind of this fallen monk, see what he saw and report it to me, we need to know."

The monk just looked at him, " If I see what he saw, won’t my fate be the same as his? I won’t be able to learn magic is that happens."

The priest gritted his teeth, " Just do as I say, you don’t need to look directly into it is it’s an angel, just a glimpse of its host’s face is enough." He answered.

The monk shrugged and took out a golden eye of Osiris. The two priests looked at each other.

Both can see the confusion and suspicion in their eyes. The eye of Osiris was a rare relic with a deep history.

A relic can be born in three ways, specific conditions like the eagle’s eye of fire used by the now eye less monk.

Absorbing the aura of great resentment like a weapon that slaughtered many or one drenched in blood of the innocent.

Those were known as evil or demonic relics, the third is worship and belief which is the case for the eye of Osiris.

The third relics took longer to form but their power was immense and the eye of Osiris, there was only one.

" She couldn’t be could she?" One priest asked a bit skeptical.

The female monk did not pay them any kined and touched the head of the monk without eyes.

The eye of Osiris shined golden light on his forehead and her consciousness sunk into his mind.

" She..she did not chant." One monk noticed that.
