Chen Jiang continued, "From the surveillance video we’ve found, we can continuously see Wang Min leaving home straight for this warehouse, while her husband Li Jun is sitting behind her, following."

"Only after Wang Min enters the warehouse does Li Jun appear at the warehouse door a few minutes later, listens to the noises inside, takes a look at what’s happening inside, and then never appears on the surveillance again."

But everyone knows that he couldn’t just leave like that, watching his wife cheat with someone else, how could he be indifferent?

"He went in through the back window."

Lu Chuan suddenly said.

During his investigation at the scene, he cleaned up the entire site thoroughly and found some footprints on the rear window of the fire scene.

Although the scene was a warehouse, it was originally a self-built house, so besides the main door and the two front windows, there were two windows at the back.

"The reason he didn’t go in through the main door is probably because he knew there was a camera opposite, so he chose to leave and then come back through the back window."

"Captain Lu, in that case, should we arrest him?"

"With surveillance video and Li Jun having a major motive for the crime, of course, we should arrest him."

"Yes!"

The arrest went smoothly.

The police found him in the house Li Jun rented.

However, during the arrest, he was already too drunk to be aware.

It was only in the afternoon that Li Jun’s consciousness returned.

In the interrogation room.

"Name?"

"Li Jun."

"Gender?"

"Male..."

After Li Jun was caught, his fingerprints were immediately collected; Lu Chuan had already compared the 1/10 fingerprint with the other party, no problem, the melted lighter was his.

Some footprints found at the crime scene also included some of his footprints, and Li Jun’s home contained the shoes and clothes he wore that night.

They had been washed, but there were still traces of blood on the shoes.

Tests confirmed the blood belonged to Gao Dezhi and Wang Min.

During the interrogation process, Li Jun seemed lost and disoriented. Whatever the police asked, he answered, but his eyes lacked focus.

"Why did you kill them?"

"Because my wife cheated... Do you know why she cheated?"

When asked about his motive for murder, the other party suddenly became somewhat agitated.

Just sitting in the Immortal Chair, Li Jun seemed like a dead person, lifeless, with his eyes unmoving. But after being asked about the motive for the murder, Li Jun appeared to come alive.

"Do you know why he betrayed me? Am I not earning enough? Am I not treating him well enough?"

"I earn more than ten thousand per month working hard on the railway line, only keeping three hundred for myself to buy cigarettes, and giving the rest to her."

"If she wants a ring, I’ll buy her a ring; if she wants jewelry, I’ll buy her jewelry; if she wants clothes, I’ll buy her clothes; if she wants to eat something, we eat it."

"And what’s so good about the supermarket boss, just one damn mouth that talks!"

"Looks like a pig, why? Why?"

"Adulterers!"

Afterward, Li Jun lost it and described in detail everything leading up to and following the murders.

In fact, Li Jun had no clue his wife was cheating; he always believed his relationship with his wife was particularly good, very loving.

Li Jun’s work on the railway section was tiring, but the pay was relatively high.

Come summer, during busy periods, he could earn nearly ten thousand a month through overhauls.

However, one drawback was that during the day, he needed to rest at home and work at night.

And on the night of the incident, he was halfway to work when he realized he’d forgotten to bring a crucial repair instrument.

So he took leave from the work team, intending to return later to retrieve that instrument.

Upon arriving at the door, he discovered his wife was leaving their rented house.

Being aware that he always left a bit past nine, when his wife had already bathed and was preparing to sleep.

But that night, Wang Min was dressed flamboyantly, with makeup on, leaving home at a little past ten.

That night, Li Jun remained quiet, only following behind her, wanting to see where his wife was going.

"You know, I initially thought Wang Min was going out to eat with colleagues or to have some fun, because I couldn’t accompany her at night, and she used to enjoy dancing and clubbing when she was young, I thought she was going to a nightclub."

Sadly for Li Jun, it was devastating to discover his wife Wang Min was not meeting someone for dinner or going to a nightclub, but rather going to the entrance of a warehouse and sneaking inside.

At that moment, Li Jun’s world collapsed.

Going out at night, dressed exquisitely with makeup, ending up inside a warehouse, what could she be doing?

The heartbroken Li Jun followed her to the door and heard moaning noises inside.

Though the lights weren’t on, he could see shadows faintly moving through the glass.

Up and down, suppressed sounds.

He could only be intimate with his wife once a week, and every time she was perfunctory.

But in front of others...

"At that moment, I felt a fire burning inside my heart, as if it would melt me; I didn’t even know what I was thinking."

Then he left the warehouse, ran back to his rented house, grabbed petrol, took a knife, and returned.

However, at that time, Li Jun indeed didn’t go through the warehouse’s front door; he knew there was a window at the back, so he broke in through the back.

"Do you know, those two adulterers, at first sight of me, didn’t think of escaping but rather came to kill me."

Li Jun rolled up his sleeves, revealing wounds on his right forearm.

"These were made by my wife."

After that, things were straightforward.

In the chaos, Li Jun stabbed Gao Dezhi.

"Where did you stab him? How many times?"

"I stabbed him in the stomach, I forgot how many times but probably around 30 times; when he fell, I didn’t care anymore about the bitch behind who was hitting me, I pushed her down and stabbed her twice, all in the back."

During these descriptions, Li Jun’s emotions seemed slightly unhinged.

Regarding the detailed descriptions of the murders, Li Jun’s eyes seemed to express hatred towards the two.

Li Jun described how he swung the knife, how he killed them, while gesturing with his hands.

The clanging handcuffs served as a reminder of the place.

Gradually, as he spoke, Li Jun’s emotions stabilized, and soon it seemed he didn’t care much anymore, mechanically recounting the events before and after the murders.

After a while, Li Jun seemed to lose all strength, slumping in his chair: "Could I have a cigarette?"
