In the center of the Crystal Tray lay a Crystal Card engraved with a mysterious, eye-like Curse Seal.

The moment they saw the enigmatic Crystal Card, the eyes of the five Legendary Mages lit up. Then, a sense of caution arose in their hearts, and they halted in their tracks.

A tense atmosphere spread among the five of them.

That Crystal Card represented a chance for Ascension to Divinity, and there were five of them here!

These five Legendary Mages all had ties to one another, but those bonds were not strong enough to make them yield the chance for Ascension to Divinity to someone else.

The other four Legendary Mages replied, exchanging a glance.

An incredibly eerie black chain emerged from the shadows, lashing out frenziedly toward Yimuran.

A black light flared around Yimuran, forming a black Magic Barrier that enveloped his body.

The black chain slammed into the black Magic Barrier, sending faint ripples across its surface.

With a furious roar, Ruth transformed into a ten-meter-tall Frost Giant. Wielding an Ice and Snow Battle Spear, he viciously thrust it straight at Yimuran.

"Stop! I’ve already forfeited my claim to the Divine Sealing Card! Why are you still attacking me?"

Yimuran’s expression changed drastically. He instantly cast the Flame Dragon Technique, and a terrifying Flame Dragon materialized to clash with the Frost Giant that Ruth had become.

Ice and Flame intertwined, sending clouds of steam billowing into the air.

"Piercing Magic Gun!"

Idris chanted an incantation. A Magic Array materialized, and from it emerged a jet-black Demon Spear radiating a terrifying aura. It shot straight toward Yimuran.

"Enchanting Eye!"

Two enigmatic Curse Seals, imbued with the Charm Law, materialized in Tira’s pupils as she fixed her gaze on Yimuran.

"Nancy!"

The instant Tira’s eyes met his, Yimuran, who had been about to counterattack, fell into a daze. It was as if he saw the lover seared into his memory, and his mind wavered for a split second.

In that very instant, the jet-black Piercing Magic Gun pierced through Yimuran’s Magic Barrier and stabbed into his body.

An eerie puppet appeared in Yimuran’s place, instantly shattering into pieces that scattered to the ground.

A faint ripple shimmered, and Yimuran reappeared thirty meters away, his face pale.

"Hunt God’s Lock!"

Great Mage Seno pointed a finger, and black chains surged from the void like Poisonous Flood Dragons, instantly piercing through Great Mage Yimuran’s body.

"You damned bastards! All of you, just die!"

A vicious glint flashed in Yimuran’s eyes. With a furious roar, a Magic Array materialized before him.

Within the Magic Array, the legendary Godslayer, Modan’s Spear, materialized. Waves of terrifying curses and distorted energy emanated from it.

The reason the other four Legendary Mages had targeted Great Mage Yimuran first was precisely because he was the master of Modan’s Spear.

As long as Great Mage Yimuran was willing to pay the price, he could kill any one of the other four Legendary Mages.

"Flesh Extraction!"

The black chains transformed into countless tiny, sharp-toothed maws that bit down on Yimuran’s body and began to drain him frantically.

Modan’s Spear then fell from the air and clattered to the ground.

"Piercing Magic Gun!"

A jet-black Demon Spear, radiating an aura that seemed capable of piercing through anything, emerged from the void and shot straight toward Ruth.

"You dare come after me, Idris? You’re courting death!"

Ruth roared in fury, wielding his Ice and Snow Battle Spear to intercept the Demon Spear.

Waves of icy energy radiated from Ruth’s body. The surrounding temperature plummeted, and a thin layer of ice formed on the ground.

"Enchanting Eye!"

Tira activated her Enchanting Eye and fixed her gaze on Ruth.

"Luna!"

Ruth’s eyes glazed over. It was as if a young, innocent girl who had once touched his heart had appeared before him, and he was lost in a trance for an instant.

If Ruth had been fighting Tira one-on-one, he would have been able to snap out of it in the next instant.

But in that fleeting moment, Idris’s Piercing Magic Gun transformed into a streak of light, tore through all of Ruth’s Magic Shields, and pierced his head.

"Hunt God’s Lock!"

Countless jet-black chains suddenly materialized from the void, lunging at Idris like venomous snakes.

"Fool!"

A look of contempt flashed in Idris’s eyes. He chanted an incantation, and a Magic Array appeared before him. A Piercing Magic Gun shot forth, stabbing into the mass of jet-black chains.

Chain after chain of jet-black links was shattered by the Piercing Magic Gun.

But in the next moment, Idris’s body trembled. A jet-black Rose burst forth from his abdomen, frantically absorbing his blood.

"Tira, you betrayed me!"

Idris stared at the black Rose, a look of utter disbelief in his eyes. He had poured countless efforts and resources into Tira, all to help her ascend to the rank of Legendary Mage. They were secret lovers, as intimate as could be, and were even engaged to be married.

And now, at this most critical moment, Tira had betrayed him. He simply couldn’t believe his eyes.

"Fool! Tira was my woman from the very beginning!"

Seno roared with laughter as countless jet-black chains stabbed viciously into Idris’s body.
