"Miss Vance?" ’Shannon Vance?’

Archie Lockwood’s face was dangerously cold. "Who gave her the authority to do that!"

"Boss, what should we do now?"

"Where is Eleanor Bishop now?" Archie Lockwood asked as he turned, grabbing his jacket from the back of his chair and heading for the door.

"She’s probably gone back to the Bishop family’s house."

"To the Bishop family’s!"

"Yes, sir." Louise Jordan replied quickly, her expression turning complicated as her eyes fell on the documents on the desk.

’She debated whether she should speak up and remind the boss that he should handle the issue with the proposal first...’

Just as Archie Lockwood walked out of his office, he saw an all-too-familiar face.

He stopped dead in his tracks, his expression turning sinister.

"Long time no see," Jason Lockwood said slowly, his voice cool as the corner of his mouth curved handsomely.

Archie Lockwood sneered. "What are you doing here?" he asked coldly.

"Just came to see an old friend." The smile didn’t leave Jason Lockwood’s face as he approached Archie Lockwood with exceedingly elegant strides.

"Hah. I thought you were going to die in prison."

Stopping in front of Archie, Jason gave him a provocative look. "I also thought you’d leave me in prison for life," he said icily. "Hah. It seems I overestimated you."

"Jason Lockwood, I don’t mind sending you back to prison," Archie Lockwood said, raising a hand to unfasten the cuff of his shirt. His eyes narrowed dangerously.

"That depends on whether you still have it in you. I, Jason Lockwood, will not be taken down by the same person twice." Every single minute he spent in prison, he was thinking about how to get out, how to get his revenge! How to take back everything he’d lost!

And so, from the moment he got out six months ago, he had been preparing to battle Archie Lockwood.

"Is that so? Jason Lockwood, you couldn’t defeat me six years ago, and you certainly can’t defeat me now." It had been six years. He was a long way from the Archie Lockwood he used to be.
