Done Breeding: Now I Rule the Beastworld

Chapter 244 - 243: I Just Want to Watch You Change Clothes

Seeing that Yu Tu was gone, Feng Qiwu knew he couldn’t stay either.

After all, no male enjoyed watching his Female Master be intimate with another Beast Husband.

After they left, the small courtyard grew quiet again. But it was only quiet in that there were fewer people; certain indescribable sounds still lingered.

These sounds continued late into the night before finally fading away completely.

"Get some rest. I’ll go get some water to help you clean up."

After their lovemaking, Chi Yizhong’s voice was exceptionally hoarse, as if he hadn’t had a drink of water in ages.

But he acted as if he were perfectly fine, continuing to bustle about.

A closer look revealed a hint of exhaustion on his face, but it was faint, overshadowed by a deep sense of satisfaction.

Chu Liangyu, by contrast, was in much better shape. Even though they had gone on for longer this time, she looked refreshed and perfectly comfortable.

Chu Liangyu propped her chin on her hand and watched him, finding the sight surprisingly amusing.

After watching him for a while, she couldn’t help but say, "You’re such a keeper. I really hit the jackpot with you."

Chi Yizhong blushed. He didn’t look at her, simply continuing to gather her clothes, which were scattered all over.

Chu Liangyu’s gaze fell upon a splash of red, and her eyes suddenly narrowed.

’This robe... it actually came off.’

She had been so caught up in the physical pleasure that she’d completely forgotten the robe she was wearing was the one Jiang Li from the Cultivation World had given her.

’I couldn’t take it off in the Cultivation World, and I haven’t tried since I got back. Could this just be a coincidence?’

Chu Liangyu thought for a moment, then decided to test her theory. "Hand me my clothes. I want to put them on."

"Alright."

Chi Yizhong didn’t think anything of it. Hearing her request, he obediently walked over and handed her the clothes.

Chu Liangyu was only wearing a thin underrobe, and the slightest movement threatened to expose her. But with just the two of them in the room, she paid it no mind.

She casually slipped on an outer robe and tied the sash. A moment later, Chu Liangyu tried to undo it.

To her surprise, the sash she had just tied so easily wouldn’t come undone.

Chu Liangyu’s expression immediately darkened. Without any explanation, she simply said, "Help me take this off."

Seeing her expression, Chi Yizhong sensed something was wrong. His gaze also fell upon the robe.

Even so, his hands didn’t stop. He did as she asked and removed the outer robe she had just donned.

"Is there something wrong with this robe?"

With the robe off, Chu Liangyu’s expression eased considerably. Seeing his question, she offered a selective explanation, "I came across this robe by chance. Once I put it on, I couldn’t take it off myself. I never thought you’d be able to remove it for me."

Hearing this, the look in Chi Yizhong’s eyes darkened as he stared at the robe. "Then I’ll burn it," he said bluntly.

"Don’t. Just set it aside for now. There might be some hidden mechanism to it."

It wasn’t that Chu Liangyu was hoping for some opportunity; she was just worried that destroying the robe might allow Jiang Li to sense her location, which would lead to more trouble.

Chi Yizhong hesitated for a moment before placing the robe on the table. He only cautioned her, "I don’t know why, but I really dislike this thing’s aura. It’s safest not to wear it."

Chu Liangyu gave him a long look, understanding why he would feel that way.

After all, he had once been a clone controlled by his original body. It was only natural that he would dislike sensing a similar aura again.

Still, it was fortunate he was here. Thanks to him, she had coincidentally been able to remove the robe.

On her recent procurement trip to the Cultivation World, she had also bought quite a few High Tier Magical Clothes, including some specifically for Chi Yizhong.

Remembering this just now, Chu Liangyu retrieved the clothes from her spatial storage.

"I bought you a few outfits. Try them on and let’s see how they look."

The clothes were all capable of adjusting their size automatically, so there was no question of them not fitting.

Chu Liangyu knew this, of course. She just wanted to see what Chi Yizhong looked like wearing them.

There were three in total: one blue, one white, and one ink-black. Each had a different style, but they all shared one trait—an air of nobility in their simplicity.

"Alright, I’ll go try them on."

"Don’t go behind the screen. I want to watch you try them on right here."

Chu Liangyu got off the bed and blocked his path, looking up at him with a grin.

Chi Yizhong looked down, his voice tinged with a hint of resigned helplessness. "I know, I’ll try them on here."

Chu Liangyu sat on a stool, watching him change with keen interest.

Of the three colors, the white one gave him an air similar to his usual disposition, though its style added a touch of a Cultivator’s carefree spirit.

Next was the blue one. This time, the feeling was completely different. He seemed to grow quieter, as still as the surface of a lake.

His already somber eyes held a hint of melancholy. The blue robes seemed to bring out a softer, more delicate quality in him—the kind that suggests a mind full of hidden thoughts.

As for the gray robe, Chu Liangyu’s first reaction upon seeing it was that it gave off a feeling somewhat similar to Jiang Li.

Jiang Li had never worn this color, yet the feeling was unmistakably there, however hard it was to describe.

"The gray one isn’t flattering. The other two are fine, though."

Chu Liangyu put the gray robe away. Then she added, "Pick one to wear. You can put the other one away yourself."

"Alright."

Though it was just a single word, Chu Liangyu could hear the happiness in his voice. His joy was infectious, and the corners of her own mouth turned up in a small smile.

As was his habit, Chi Yizhong chose the white robe. He carefully put the other one away, and when he returned, he found Chu Liangyu still sitting on the stool.

He glanced at the sky outside and suggested, "It’ll be a long while before dawn. Why don’t we rest a little longer?"

Chu Liangyu had the same idea. Hearing his suggestion, she headed for the bed, making sure to pull Chi Yizhong along with her.

"Don’t worry about cleaning up. Come get some more sleep with me."

"As you wish."

Back in bed, Chi Yizhong tucked the quilt around her. Even though it was spring, there was still a slight chill in the air.

They spoke for a little while longer, the warmth building under the covers. Gradually, Chu Liangyu felt her eyelids growing heavy.

Feeling the drowsiness wash over her, she didn’t fight it and let herself drift off to sleep.

Chi Yizhong watched her sleeping face for a long time before lying down beside her. Her steady breathing filled his ears, and as he listened, he too began to feel drowsy.

In the last moment before he drifted off, he pulled Chu Liangyu a little closer. Her scent filled his senses, and only then did he let himself fall asleep, completely at ease.

The room fell silent once more, the only sound the steady breathing that filled the space. Moonlight spilled over the two figures sleeping in each other’s arms, a scene of tranquil beauty.
