“Flinx, why did the magic moving images that you’ve shown us not have anyone talking?” David asked while they were eating snacks in one of the eateries outside.

“The magic images are called movies, and I can actually conjure thousands upon thousands of them that contain different stories like horror, adventure, action, and more. The main issue is that the movies are all in my homeland’s language. That meant that you wouldn’t understand them, so I just chose those that didn’t have any spoken languages.”

“Don’t you have a spell that would let us understand your mo...mo…vies?” Violet stuttered.

Flinx was a little taken aback. He remembered reading about the 3rd-level Tongues spell. He reviewed the spell and learned that he could actually use the spell to allow the children to understand the English language from movies.

“I do have that spell. Let’s test it out,” Flinx told the children.

They all rushed home, and once they were back at the tower, Flinx bought the movie compact disc of the Disney film Aladdin to test if the kids would be able to understand it once he cast the 3rd-level Tongues Spell on them.

He gave the compact disc of the Aladdin movie to David so the boy could set it up. Once it was ready, he cast the 3rd-level spell on the children one at a time. He told David that once the spell lapsed, meaning when they couldn’t understand the movie anymore, he would need to pause the movie so that Flinx could recast the spell. While the kids were watching the movie, Flinx thought about buying a large television set, but on second thought, he held off on doing that since the video being shown using the projector had high enough resolution that the movie was very clear. The projector also consumed less electricity, so that meant that he didn’t have to buy gasoline all the time, since at that moment, the gas-fueled generator was only being used to recharge or power up two devices. The Android Tablet and the Projector. He didn’t even have to purchase a speaker since the speaker that came with the projector was loud enough.

Unfortunately for the kids, they would only be able to watch movies when Flinx was home since he was the only one who could cast the 3rd-level Tongues spell.

When the movie Aladdin ended, the four kids were extremely excited.

“Flinx, that show was the best thing I’ve ever seen! Can we watch a new one?” Keero asked.

“No. Olivia, Ambrose, and Christopher are about to arrive. Regarding movie watching. We can only do it once a week.”

When the kids asked why, he told them that he would be extremely busy delving into the dungeon, and more than likely, most nights, he would be too tired to indulge them in allowing them to watch movies all the time, so it would be better if they scheduled it once a week. He did tell the kids that he had already purchased tens of movies that they could watch, and since he specifically chose films that didn’t have spoken languages, they would still be able to enjoy those.

Soon, Olivia, Christopher, and Ambrose arrived. The four kids excitedly told them about all the things they did that day, especially the movies they had seen. Of course, Olivia and her two brothers didn’t understand what the children were talking about, so they simply showed them the compact discs of the movies that were stored in one of the bookcases.

Thankfully, Olivia, Christopher, and Ambrose had already eaten, so that meant they could indulge the kids in watching the movies again. Before the movie watching started, Flinx told everyone his rules, which was they could only watch movies at least three times every week, including the weekly movie watching with Flinx, wherein he would show those that spoke languages.

Ambrose complained that they still had not completed watching Flinx’s fight against the dungeon monsters, and he needed to watch those for reference, so instead of watching one of the new movies, they would just continue watching Flinx’s dungeon delve. He reminded Olivia to ask everyone to rest after a couple of hours. After that, he left them to their devices and went to his room to rest.

During the next couple of weeks, Flinx busied himself delving into the last floor of the Dungeon of Mara. After those two weeks, the tower was finally permanent. He didn’t have to worry about the tower disappearing, even if he was away from home for more than 24 hours. He still would cast the Galder’s Tower spell once a day since casting the spell would clean the whole tower immediately.

After those two weeks, it was finally time for Olivia to present the account book of the shop. The accounting was simple enough. After a few weeks, the first inventory of candles, soaps, and loofahs that Flinx had purchased was sold out. The products had become so popular that Olivia had to hire two more salesgirls. The main reason that the stocks were sold out was that Olivia allowed other merchants to purchase the items in bulk.

That meant that the shop had earned a total of 13,000 gold coins. It was a staggering amount. After all the expenses were paid, like food and other necessities for everyone, employee salaries, the shop’s rent, and Ambrose and Christopher's tuition, there were still 10000 gold coins left.

Olivia told Flinx that the expenses next month would be lower since the expenses had finally stabilized. The main reason why they earned such a huge amount of coins was the simple fact that they didn’t have to spend anything to purchase their product since everything was provided by Flinx.

Flinx had already refilled the stock of the shop, but Olivia told him that he might need to do so more frequently. Since it was easy enough to purchase the items, he told Olivia that it wasn’t a problem.

After refilling the shop’s stock, Flinx’s system shopping site fund was reduced to around 3,500 dollars. He took the 7000 gold coins from Olivia and left her 3000 gold coins to use for anything the family might need. Olivia told him that he could just leave her 500 gold coins since that would be enough funds for next month, but Flinx told Olivia to just save the funds in the bank if there were some left. At least with enough savings, their family would have some financial security.

Flinx planned to use the gold coins earned by the shop to pay some of the taxes that he incurred in delving into dungeons.

Olivia told him that with the shop alone, since a few merchants had started buying their items in bulk, there might come a time when they would need to refill the inventory of the shop two or even three times a month, which meant that they would earn around 26,000 to 39,000 gold coins per month.

Flinx requested that they limit the outgoing products to just twice a month since more than that would take up a lot of Flinx’s time. 26,000 gold coins were enough spending gold coins for the family. He reiterated to Olivia that his priority was still increasing his power through delving into dungeons, and he couldn’t divert his attention from doing business.

Because of that, he promised Olivia that he would only take 60 percent of the shop’s earnings starting next month. The rest would go to the family, and she would be the one who would control the funds.
