Flinx’s property now consisted of three plots of land: the original garden he had purchased from his noble neighbor, the adjacent property, and the land owned by their third neighbor, who had decided to move elsewhere after selling it to them.

As a result, the land owned by Flinx and his fellow Earthlings had become enormous. Because of this, several among them who were knowledgeable in architecture and design began planning the most beautiful compound they could create.

Unfortunately, since Flinx’s tower was permanent, the entire design had to be built around it. Thankfully, his elven-style tower was exceptionally beautiful, so the Earthlings decided to embrace the theme and design everything around it.

Eventually, everyone agreed to transform the estate into a kind of elven paradise. The towers they conjured would follow the same aesthetic, while those with the Druid Class would use their spells to grow trees and plants throughout the property. They also planned to greatly expand the man-made lake that served as their swimming area while still allowing Pondy to manage it.

The entire project was completed within a single day, much to the amazement of Flinx’s adopted family and their newly hired cooks and servants. Privacy was also addressed through the dense trees grown by the Druids.

Once everything was finished, the entire estate looked breathtaking, and Flinx was thoroughly impressed. It resembled a place that could only exist in idealized fantasy films such as The Lord of the Rings.

The seven elegant elven towers had been strategically positioned throughout the property, with fruit trees and flowering plants growing between them in a way that appeared natural and untouched. The result was a landscape that looked like paradise. The crystal-clear lake looked so pure that anyone who saw it would be tempted to jump in. Pondy made sure the water remained impeccably clean.

They had also constructed a beautiful open-air meeting area in front of the towers. Furnished with comfortable chairs crafted in the elven style, it would serve as a common gathering place where everyone could eat, socialize, or simply relax.

All of these changes had been accomplished in a single day. It was a clear demonstration of what twenty-one individuals wielding different classes could achieve when working together.

When night fell, the entire estate was illuminated by strategically placed solar lights that cast a warm glow across the grounds, making their home even more beautiful after dark. The fact that the lighting came from modern technology rather than magic, despite the estate resembling a magical elven forest, amused Flinx greatly.

He also found himself laughing at the expressions of wonder worn by the four cooks and their four assistants. The amazement never seemed to leave their faces, and judging by the quality of their cooking, they were highly motivated to ensure their employers were satisfied with their services.

Flinx could understand why.

Olivia paid them well for their work, but an even greater benefit was that they were allowed to live in one of the magical towers conjured by Flinx. The eight new employees found their accommodations nothing short of magical.

The temperature inside the tower was always comfortable. Hot and cold water were available at all times. The lighting responded to voice commands, and each of them had a spacious and comfortable private room. One of them had even remarked that they felt as though they were living like nobles.

Another advantage was that their employers cared little about what they did during their free time as long as their duties were completed. Those duties were simple enough. They only had to prepare meals, and with four cooks and four assistants sharing the workload, the job was relatively easy.

They were not required to perform any cleaning duties either. They had seen firsthand that maintaining the towers was handled through magic. Flinx and his fellow Earthlings simply had to recast the Galder’s Tower spell, and every part of the structure would be restored to perfect cleanliness. Smaller objects could likewise be cleaned using the Prestidigitation spell.

Flinx had even informed them that whenever they finished their work, they were free to swim in the beautiful lake.

In short, the cooks and their assistants were free to leave whenever they wished to visit family and friends or spend time elsewhere.

Flinx knew that such freedom would inevitably lead to stories spreading about the magical place where they lived. In truth, he did not care.

When Olivia, her brothers, and the four children returned home, Flinx laughed out loud at their reactions.

The first thing the children did was ask for permission to join those already swimming in the newly expanded lake. Pondy ensured that everyone enjoyed themselves, and because the lake had become so large, there was more than enough room for everyone to swim and play comfortably.

Ambrose and Christopher eventually joined in as well.

Whenever anyone became hungry, they simply visited the buffet that the cooks and their assistants had prepared in the open-air gathering area. Once all the food had been served, even the cooks and their assistants joined the swimming.

Flinx suspected that one of the main reasons everyone wanted to swim was because of how lively and brightly lit the area remained despite it already being nighttime. Pondy also regulated the water temperature, ensuring it remained comfortable.

Ever since Flinx had summoned Pondy using an eleventh-level spell slot, the water elemental had become significantly more powerful and had gained several new abilities. One of these abilities allowed Pondy to control the temperature of the lake. Another enabled it to purify the water continuously, ensuring that it remained crystal clear regardless of how many people were swimming.

Meanwhile, Olivia and Samuel walked around the estate together, observing the completed project while Samuel enthusiastically explained the various design choices they had made.

Before long, the two were strolling hand in hand through the grounds as though they were walking through a park.

The sight completely flabbergasted Flinx, and he was not the only one surprised.

He had no idea that Samuel and Olivia had developed that kind of understanding.

Flinx did not know whether it was healthy for Samuel to enter a relationship after all the trauma they had experienced, but he also had no idea how to approach the situation. The only thing he could think of was discussing it with Mark and Paul. He did not want either Samuel or Olivia to get hurt.

What he did know was that Olivia was twenty-seven years old while Samuel was only twenty-three. He was uncertain whether Olivia’s greater maturity would be beneficial, but he assumed it probably was.

His primary concern was that Samuel still had family on Earth and fully intended to return home one day.

Even so, Flinx reminded himself that it was none of his business. Both Samuel and Olivia were adults capable of making their own decisions.

He also noticed that Ambrose and Christopher did not appear surprised, which meant Olivia’s brothers were already aware of the budding relationship.

Since he had decided not to interfere, Flinx returned his attention to swimming and joined the others.

One advantage of having Pondy present was that nobody was ever in danger of drowning. Even those who could not swim would simply be lifted by the water elemental whenever necessary.

They played all sorts of water games. Whenever they became hungry, they ate. Whenever they grew tired, they rested briefly before returning to the water.

Eventually, the cooks and their assistants had to leave the lake to prepare more food after the buffet began running low. Once the new dishes were ready, however, they returned to swimming alongside everyone else.

With Pondy present, swimming had become an exceptionally relaxing experience. The water elemental could even provide water massages while people floated in the lake.

Olivia and Samuel eventually joined the swimming as well, and the festivities continued until around two o’clock in the morning.
