The young girl opened her eyes.

Between the lush green treetops, sunlight formed mottled patterns of light and shadow.

Birds chirped in an unknown place, and the wind blew through the forest, making a rustling sound.

She looked up and confirmed that what was cascading down from between the treetops was indeed sunlight.

Between the branches and leaves was a blinding yellow-white point of light, not the Erdtree that occupied the entire sky.

The crossing was successful.

Taking a deep breath, the scent of plants and soil, which she was already extremely familiar with, lingered at the tip of her nose.

“Melina?! Wilden?!”

Then, what she needed to do was determine the location of her companions.

As soon as she finished speaking, Melina appeared by her side.

Melina, who was possessing Mia, would of course travel over with her.

“Hmm…” Melina frowned slightly.

Was this what was called ‘traveling between worlds’?

There was a strange feeling of dizziness.

There was no doubt that this was not The Lands Between, because Melina could no longer feel the existence of the Erdtree.

“Are you okay?”

Mia asked with concern.

“It’s nothing serious,” Melina shook her head.

It was just that after being separated from the Erdtree, she felt a bit empty inside.

But immediately after, curiosity about the new world took precedence, driving her to look around.

At this moment, Mia called out again: “Wilden!”

Find the companions first, then figure out where they were.

A response came from within the dense forest.

“I’m here!”

A look of joy appeared on Mia’s face, and she quickly pushed aside the bushes. A few minutes later, the young girl met face-to-face with Wilden, who was also moving in her direction.

“Why did it separate us so far apart again?”

Mia complained as if talking to herself.

It was the same last time in Nuln.

She had fallen into a small alley all by herself.

This time, the crossing was different from the last time, which had been unclear.

On the bridge outside Stormveil, she had let Wilden hold her shoulders, while Mia held Melina’s hand with one hand and touched the intangible grace with the other.

When her hand touched the grace, which was as warm as body temperature, she silently recited her request in her heart.

Just like she did back in the palace in Nuln to return to The Lands Between.

Of course, the destination this time was not the world of warhammer fantasy.

She hoped to go to a world that was not so dangerous, but one where she could still gain experience.

Then, she made the resolution to travel between worlds.

A soft golden light enveloped her vision, and a strong sense of weightlessness pierced through her limbs and bones.

When her vision recovered, she had arrived in this forest.

After reuniting with her teammates, she had to figure out where they were.

There was no doubt that this was a forest, but she had to see signs of human habitation for Mia to know effective information.

She shook the spirit calling bell.

Three Spirit Wolves appeared by her side, completely unharmed.

As soon as Labrand and Texas appeared, they let out whimpers as if acting spoiled.

It seemed they were complaining to Mia about being knocked off the bridge by Morgott’s staff just a moment ago.

“Good~ good~”

The young girl patiently rubbed the Spirit Wolves’ heads, gently soothing them.

“Go look nearby and see if there are any signs of people.”

She arranged.

The Spirit Wolves rubbed against the young girl’s feet and then scattered, somewhat reluctantly.

Arriving in a new environment, even a child would know to be cautious.

Before the Spirit Wolves reported back, Mia did not intend to run around blindly like a headless chicken.

At this moment, Mia suddenly felt something; she turned her head and saw Melina squinting her eyes, bathing in the golden sunlight.

She looked up, staring at the blue sky and sunlight revealed between the green leaves and branches.

“That is…”

“It’s the sky and the sun,” Mia answered with a smile.

The sky was blue, and the sun was a blinding yellow-white.

It was much more blinding than the Erdtree; just a small speck was enough to illuminate the entire sky.

“…”

Melina had never seen the sky and the sun.

Just like Morgott, she had been imprisoned as a secret since birth, and it was only after the Shattering that Melina saw The Lands Between with her own eyes.
