Chapter 834: One Of Alex’s Secrets [Part 1]

A few hours later, Alex sat at the round table and ate the food that Lotte, Fran, and Lulu had prepared for everyone in the clubroom.

Before heading to the clubroom, Alex went to find Aeris, Lapiz, and Fran.

He told them that he wanted to tell them something important, so he asked them to head to the clock tower with him.

Seeing the serious look on their lover’s face, the three ladies agreed and walked to the clubroom with him.

When they arrived, they were surprised to see that none of the other club members were there.

Only Latifa, her Alters, and Lavinia were present.

Seeing that this was a good opportunity, Alex also told them that he planned to tell them something important.

But sensing the tension in the surroundings, Lotte proposed that they have dinner first.

The young man found this proposal good. His lovers might lose their appetite if he shared the news now. With that in mind, he agreed and waited until their dinner was ready.

"Homemade meals are the best," Alex said with satisfaction, finding the food to his liking.

Lotte, Fran, and Lulu all smiled. Seeing Alex eat their food happily made them feel rewarded for their efforts.

They talked casually during dinner, talking about their plans, like places they wanted to visit during the summer vacation.

"I want to go to the beach," Evangeline said with a sigh. "I’ve always wanted to see the sea, but going alone sounds boring. How about it, Alex? Want to go to the sea together with everyone? If you agree, I’ll buy a swimsuit that you will like."

"Let’s go this weekend," Alex replied without hesitation, making Evangeline giggle due to how decisive he was.

"You just want to see us all in swimsuits, right?" Lulu said in a teasing tone. "I guess I’ll put some effort into my swimsuit."

"I guess it’s time for us to head to the city tomorrow and do some shopping," Lavinia said, smiling faintly.

Even Latifa, who was usually not inclined to join activities, decided to go to the city to buy her swimsuit as well.

For some reason, she felt a bit competitive with Evangeline and Lulu, who both had great figures.

"I guess I’ll come along as well," Aeris commented from the side. "Let’s go shopping tomorrow, Lapiz."

"Yes, sister!" Lapiz readily agreed.

The two princesses had agreed to form an alliance to make Alex pay more attention to ?both of them.

Aeris was confident of her womanly charms, so she was already looking forward to showing Alex the swimsuit that she would buy for this upcoming trip.

For a brief moment, Alex momentarily forgot his worries. His mind was now flooded with what his lovers would look like in their swimsuits.

Suddenly, he felt someone tugging on his clothes on his left side. He then glanced at Lala, who sat beside him.

"Help me choose a swimsuit tomorrow?" Lala asked shyly.

"Okay." Alex nodded.

His answer made Lala’s face brighten up, which made Alex unable to stop himself from petting this adorable creature that he wanted to take back to his room to cuddle.

Suddenly, he felt another tug to his right. This time, he shifted his attention toward Fran, who looked at him with a determined expression on her face.

"Help me choose my swimsuit tomorrow, too?" Fran asked.

"Yes, ma’am!" Alex answered in a heartbeat.

For a brief moment, he was tempted to take both Lala and Fran back to his room so that he could cuddle both of them to sleep.

It was then that he realized that being with his lovers really made him forget about his problems.

They were his confidants.

They were his safe haven.

They were the pillars that protected his heart.

As long as they were together, Alex would be willing to go all out, even if he had to face very strong people like those from Reverse Arcana.

Once the table was all cleared, Lotte and Lulu busied themselves with washing the dishes.

Meanwhile, Alex sat on the sofa with Lala and Fran on his left and right sides, respectively.

The two ladies were resting their heads on Alex’s chest, while he was softly patting their heads with a blissful look on his face.

Lapiz looked at this scene with envy. The looks on the faces of Alex, Lala, and Fran showed that they were melting from happiness.

Lala had asked Alex if he wanted to stay overnight, to which the latter readily agreed to her proposal. Truth be told, Alex didn’t want to sleep alone tonight.

He didn’t want to think of what-ifs that may or may not happen once the students from the Aetherion Empire arrived.

Finally, Lotte and Lulu finished their chores, and then sat on the sofa alongside the others.

Thinking that the time was right, Alex finally steeled his heart and told his lovers the reason why he had asked them to gather.

"There is a secret I wish to share with all of you," Alex said in a serious tone. "I am telling you this now to prepare you all for the student exchange program that will be happening soon."

Alex paused for a bit, making sure that everyone was paying attention to him. Seeing that they were taking his words seriously, he continued his explanation.

"Actually, I am a prince of the Aetherion Empire," Alex declared.

Aeris’s eyes widened in shock, while Lapiz seemed to have come to an understanding.

Latifa frowned, while the rest of her Alters remained silent.

Lavinia subconsciously clenched her hand that was resting over her lap.

As for Fran, she kept her eyes closed. However, she hugged Alex a little tighter.

"Although I say I am a prince of the Aetherion Empire, that doesn’t mean I get along with the royal family," Alex stated. "In fact, I don’t want to have anything to do with them."

The young man then glanced at Evangeline, who nodded her head back in understanding.

"When I was young, my Guardian took me away to escape the Aetherion Empire," Alex continued his story. "For a time, I came under the protection of my Guardian’s acquaintance, who is also Evangeline’s father."

This revelation made the ladies’ eyes widen in shock. Now they understood why the vampire lady was so infatuated with Alex. It seemed that they shared a history that none of them knew about.
