Evolution Online: My 10,000× Reward System Multiplies Everything
Chapter 137: Lysandra
"W-What? Did she just say... Transcendant?!"
Transcendant. The rank above Supreme and below none. It was the peak of its existence, far much stronger than the Supreme Elder Dragon.
Not only has the last dragon devoured every last one of its peers to evolve to the peak, but that wasn’t enough to sustain it, and it somehow learned a similar cultivation technique that took him there months in solitude to be able to feel and absorb the evolution spores in the air.
Magnificent.
When Kaelen didn’t respond and simply observed through his perception, the woman calmly stood to her feet and bent her knees, before leaping several metres into the air and crossing several mountains and dropping down before Kaelen. The ground beneath her feet spread cracks as she slowly stood up to stare at Kaelen.
Kaelen wasn’t certain how she evolved to such a point, but she looked no different from humans, with facial features that far surpassed that of the Strongholds’ beauty standards.
She was the epitome of beauty and wore a red fitted combat outfit that made Kaelen wonder where she got it from. Her eyes were crimson red, with her silky dark hair reaching down to her waist.
Kaelen stared at her for a moment, and the woman didn’t interrupt his assessment, till Kaelen finally decided on which question to ask first.
"Are you actually a dragon?" he asked curiously.
"Yes, master. I’m the last surviving dragon of the ten thousand you put together in this world to prove themselves to you. I didn’t stop after devouring every last one of them and learned how to absorb the sparse evolution spores in the air, ascending my rank to Transcendant not long ago."
"..."
’Prove themselves to me? Is that what they thought and began killing themselves? I wonder how she’d feel if I tell her I simply forgot about them.’
"How’d you get the clothes?" Kaelen mainly asked because from looking at them alone, he could tell they were of good quality. But in Evolution Online, armour was so rare it couldn’t be found in drops and could be crafted by players or NPCs within that line.
"I stitched it myself using dragon hide. I could remember you wearing something like this when you dropped us off, so I decided to make one for myself."
She could remember him wearing clothes when he dropped them off as eggs?
Interesting.
But most importantly, she just admitted stitching the near-perfect outfit herself using dragon hide and nothing but a vague memory of Kaelen’s clothes to create hers.
"If you don’t like them, I can take them off," she said as her hand went to the zipper on her chest holding her prominent bosom behind them.
"Wait—No. That’s not what I meant. You did a good job, keep them on." He quickly clarified.
Her hand paused on the zipper before dropping back down to her side. "Have you come to pick me up? I can’t grow any stronger inside here."
Grow any stronger?
Isn’t she already at the peak of her existence?
Don’t tell me...
Kaelen’s eyes slowly widened in surprise. "Yes, you’re coming with me. But first, do you have a name?"
"A name? Only you are worthy of naming me, Master." She replied.
Kaelen nodded softly. "Very well. From today onwards, your name will be... Lysandra."
"Lysandra." She slowly repeated, before nodding at him.
Though she didn’t react much facially, Kaelen could see from her eyes that she was satisfied with the name.
"And you shall address me as Kaelen."
"Master Kaelen—"
"Just Kaelen. Kaelen."
’Can’t have her calling me Master when people are around. Kinda embarrassing when she looks very human, unlike SKD.’
"Let’s go."
...
Kaelen swung the door of his treasury open and went straight for the obsidian-coloured pile. Unlike the last time, where he had no more than four Primordial Tier items, he now had quite a bunch. Over a dozen of them worth more than 20 Trillion Evolution Points.
But Kaelen wasn’t here to top up his evolution points balance. He was confident in his current evolution realm at Tier 50, plus having both SKD and now Lysandra by his side, taking down Felix shouldn’t be much of a problem.
He set his sights on two swords in the bunch and picked them, weighing them in his hand.
He’d never had the use of a weapon, and couldn’t even use one as a slime. But this time was different. Kaelen couldn’t fight the Colossal Titan as a Slime. There were too many limitations that made it a better idea to fight as he was—with weapons.
Primordial Tier weapons.
He strapped the two swords to both sides of his waist, before turning to face Lysandra, SKD, and Kenora, who stood at the doorway, weighing the newest member of Kaelen’s squad with curiosity.
"Have any of you ever slain a Titan before?" Kaelen asked the two dragons.
"I haven’t had the chance to, Mast... K-Kaelen." Lysandra stuttered like she was uncomfortable not adding the honorifics.
"I have not, Milord." SKD replied calmly.
"Well, I have. And I did with a single strike. This time will be no different, and no matter how difficult it becomes, we’ll conquer."
"Yes, milord." SKD replied, while Lysandra simply nodded in reply.
"Alright. I’ve already wasted enough time. Let’s go." Kaelen instructed as he was about to transport them back to the ruins, when Kenora suddenly interrupted.
"Wait," she quickly called out as she jogged up to him.
[You have received a transfer request of (1) Berserk Potion by Kenora Darkborn]
"Huh? What’s this?" Kaelen asked in surprise and curiosity.
"It’s something I once got from defeating a mob boss. I can’t craft any more of it and only have this one, so I’d like to give it to you."
Kaelen paused to stare at the Drakonis for a long moment, before he shifted his gaze to accept the transfer request.
"Berserk? Does it make you go crazy or something?" He asked subconsciously.
Kenora smiled in amusement. "Something like that. But most importantly, it increases your strength by 50% for a limited duration."
Kaelen’s eyes widened in surprise and disbelief. "50%?"
If he used such a potion in battle, then Kaelen would have the strength of a Tier 75 lifeform. Though limited to a few minutes, such strength was enough to tear down a planet singlehandedly.
"Be careful when you use it, though. It leaves you weak and vulnerable after its effects wear off," she warned.
Kaelen looked at the Drakaris before nodding at her in acknowledgement.
To use such a precious item on Felix would not only be a waste, but a disgrace to himself.
This potion... he’d keep and preserve it for the final boss of this universe. The hands behind Evolution Online.
He exhaled softly and paused.
"Let’s go slay the Colossal Titan."
