"Okay, it’s not a big deal. I could’ve done that and more if I still had Infinite Mana Talent. Those were just the small fries... let’s see their reaction when they discover the final boss can multiply infinitely." Kaelen smiled mischievously.

He came here to support the party however he could, but never thought he’d end up hate-watching.

It wasn’t like he wasn’t impressed, but they were simply doing too much. They were all aura farming instead of just clearing the damn floor like normal people.

The worst part was, there was literally zero coordination. It was like a bunch of solo hunters had been dropped into the same party.

He swiftly returned to the stream and kept watching.

The group arrived in a dead garden with a single gigantic, flourishing tree in the middle. Kneeling underneath it was the colossal knight, who slowly stood up and turned to face the group.

Kaelen didn’t know why he began smiling at this moment, but just as he’d thought, someone turned their head to look around the boss room. Not just one of them, but all of them.

The colossal knight blurred from the spot and appeared before the group in an instant, and as soon as they snapped their eyes away from the new ones that had formed, several more appeared, and the old ones charged forward as well.

The party was quick to catch on and swiftly stood in a circular formation that covered their 360 degrees, but not quickly enough to prevent them from being outnumbered seven to eleven by the final bosses.

It was worse than Kaelen’s experience and wasn’t looking good for them in any way.

Yet, out of the seven candidates, only one had kept fidgeting since Kaelen started watching him. His face was unfamiliar, and unsurprisingly, he was the loafer whom Kaelen had scammed with stones for water. From the looks of it, he was the only random in the entire party filled with outstanding candidates, and they were carrying him hard.

Kaelen began running several scenarios through his head. Though he was now hate-watching, his hate was directed at the candidates, not at Emir, whose life was on the line if they messed it up and got themselves killed.

His mind was still in overdrive when the party simply exchanged glances among themselves. Without saying a word, they seemed to have come to an agreement and suddenly shot forward, scattering in different directions while keeping their eyes on their colossal knights.

As soon as they went into position, they closed their eyes, and the colossal knights moved with deadly precision.

One swung its great sword in an arc, aiming for Lucy’s neck. She calmly threw her head back and bent her waist.

The great sword swept inches from her face, cutting her cigarette in half.

The colossal knight flicked its wrist and swung the great sword in reverse, but much lower this time.

Lucy swiftly grabbed her dagger from her waist and raised it to her shoulder to intercept the great sword.

Clang—!

The heavy blade connected with the flimsy dagger. Shockingly, the only things that flew were sparks. Lucy’s hand didn’t budge, neither did her dagger give in to the weight of the great sword.

In another direction, the sharpshooter with an eye patch kept evading as a colossal knight attacked relentlessly. Yet, she always found time to nock her bow and fire an accurate shot into the gaps between its armour, greatly slowing it down.

Not too far away, there was a girl Kaelen hadn’t noticed earlier. She was up against three colossal knights but kept hopping around the garden like a rabbit. Yet, no matter what the bosses threw at her, they somehow missed or were evaded. It was almost comical, but Kaelen knew there was something else at play.

When he focused on the three colossal knights’ blade trajectories, he noticed something was blocking the hits and deflecting their strikes. Some kind of force was also shockingly tripping a colossal knight and making another throw punches at itself as if it were trying to hit something small moving across its body.

There were so many strange abilities that Kaelen wasn’t sure how to categorise them. He’d have to ask Felix later.

He shifted his attention to the lady in a black gown who had been playing the piano in the ballroom. She was up against two colossal knights, and her only weapon was a flute, which she blew into.

While one tried to take her head off, the other defended her like a guardian angel and moved with so much grace that it made it clear to Kaelen that it was completely under her control, including its fighting style.

Then there was the lanky guy who was up against two colossal knights. He didn’t move from the spot but simply sheathed and unsheathed his katana continuously at an incredible speed, keeping the two colossal knights busy with sword flashes that came as if someone were behind them.

Last but not least was yet another woman who floated across the room, her fiery red hair flaring wildly in the absence of wind.

She was up against two colossal knights who couldn’t reach her and could only remain on the receiving end as she rained her spells down on them with a scowl that made her look rather cute, with her short height and princess gown.

The only person who wasn’t fighting in the party was the loafer Kaelen had scammed out of 1,000 buckets of water. He was shivering in the corner with his eyes clamped shut while someone else fought his battle.

Kaelen didn’t realise when the first colossal knight fell. But soon, they fell one after another, solidifying into stone before bursting apart into dust and debris.

The last colossal knight standing, which seemed to have taken more damage but refused to fall, was soon surrounded by the six candidates after they realised it was the main one.

With no other clones to hide among, it didn’t last more than a minute, and the long-awaited notification rang across the screen.

It was also then that Kaelen saw several small dolls appear out of thin air and swarm the girl who had been hopping around with three colossal knights. It was only then that he understood her ability was that of a puppet master and that, just like Kaelen, she had quite a lot of them that could turn invisible.

Kaelen didn’t say a word and simply stared blankly at the screen, even as the party disappeared into the elevator and the stream ended. He continued staring blankly at the screen until he was pulled out of his misery by a notification flashing across his vision.

Heyyy husband. I hope you’re still training that body, ’cause you’ll be taking over the housekeeper’s job soon~

Kaelen’s lips twitched.
