Fairy Tail: I Don't Want to Be the President

Chapter 1107 441: Erza Captured? Prisoner Exchange?

  • Next Chapter

Agir and Natsu were blown away, hastily gathering sand as a shield to protect themselves, narrowly blocking Laxus' lightning.

When he dispelled the sand shield, his body still falling, he looked up at the attacker, only to be drawn by the rumbling explosion sounds.

Another seven or eight cruisers burst like fireworks, the sky filled with debris and wreckage.

"Damn it..."

Amidst the flames, Agir saw a yellow-haired girl with beast ears jump out of the explosion, heading towards the remaining ships.

"That kind of magic... No, it's Curse Magic!"

Agir recognized the technique Mira used, "It's the same explosive Curse Magic as Bradman's! Who is that woman?"

Before he could think of anything, another ship exploded, one lost power, another was pierced with numerous giant iron spears...

Agir was burning with anger, almost forgetting he was still in the air.

He landed somewhat awkwardly on the ground, but he wasn't hurt.

However, the constantly falling soldiers and ship debris annoyed him.

"You damned bastards!"

A sandstorm abruptly arose, yellow sand swirling across the sky, easily covering the entire battlefield, its impact comparable to a large city.

Even Brantish, who deliberately led the Hex-Tech Sub-Dragon away from the fleet, had her sight obscured by the sandstorm.

"What is Agir doing?" Brantish complained, continuing to stand vigilant.

By now, she had gained numerous scars, some from claws, others burnt by lightning.

Evidently, facing a dragon's attack alone was quite pressuring.

As a result, she couldn't spare any focus on the fleet's situation, unaware that only a few cruisers remained so quickly.

"Natsu, get it together! Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey..."

Hapi flew upwards with closed eyes, spitting out sand with each word.

Li Li praised, "What an exaggerated magic, the Twelve Shields are indeed formidable."

"Don't get distracted, Li Li," Gajeel reminded,

"Regardless of what he's done, we need to secure the most battle achievements and capture that sand-playing guy."

"Hmm... I don't object to capturing people, but getting the most achievements seems unlikely."

Li Li didn't hold much hope for this, as Mira's efficiency was too high.

Anything she touched could turn into a bomb, making explosive Curse Magic perfect for causing destruction.

"Explosive Curse Magic is so handy." Mira, eyes half-closed, stood on a ship's bow, stroking her fluffy yellow tail.

She quite liked this form, coincidentally, Rhode also liked girls with beast ears.

No, no, getting sidetracked; the fleet's mostly destroyed, time to fetch Kana.

Kana had just destroyed a ship's power system and was about to jump out through a hole she made, only to be hit with wind and sand.

"Can't see targets clearly like this, such a bother."

She pulled out two cards, one a whirlwind, another a fountain, planning to land this way.

While jumping straight down wouldn't be fatal, why torment her leg bones if she could land easily?

"Over there!" Carla flew with closed eyes, taking Laxus towards Agir.

After casting such large-scale magic, one could feel the source of the magic power fluctuations without seeing.

"Sword of Sand!"

Laxus landed, greeted by dozens of sand swords shooting at him.

But he didn't panic at all, for he was familiar with such attacks, feeling it not as strong as Erza's Celestial Wheel Armor's flying swords.

Laxus released several golden thunderbolts with a wave, not only neutralizing the Sword of Sand but continuing towards Agir.

— He found he seemed less inclined to use techniques like Thunder Dragon Celestial Halberd recently, unless the situation demanded.

The casual use of magic, squandering magic power seemed more enjoyable.

Was it unconscious imitation of Kildas?

Agir effortlessly received the attack, as it was merely residual from a casual counterstrike.

Just as he was about to speak, two soft sounds came from behind.

Agir warily shifted his stance, glancing over to two women—a white-haired woman just retracting Devil Wings and a brown-haired woman with a crossbody bag.

These two... seemed to have destroyed the fleet amidst the chaos earlier?

Could it be?

Agir looked up, seeing a black light and a fire light cut through the last two cruisers midsection.

Two explosions along with countless screams reached his ears.

In other words, his vanguard fleet of 50 high-speed cruisers were all destroyed.

50,000 elite soldiers, few likely survived.

Soon after, Natsu and Gajeel, carried by Hapi and Li Li, landed nearby.

The five people and three cats surrounded Agir.

The usually unscrupulous Agir finally showed signs of panic.

Kana questioned, "Laxus? Someone just approached you didn't they? Where is he?"

Laxus nodded, "He self-destructed."

Mira looked disgusted, not another self-destructing one?

Having dealt with Gate of the Underworld before, she was used to self-destructing enemies.

Especially since Rhode had previously emphasized, after gaining the upper hand, to guard against enemy self-destruction.

So, even if Vahl didn't face Laxus today, his self-destruction was destined to be in vain.

"So, there's only him and that big woman left as opponents, right?" Gajeel clenched his fist, smiling, "After smashing ships all night, I'm sick of it, this guy is mine!"
