Chapter 2577: Miss Janus, Your Husband Is Here

"Isn’t it true? The last time you came to my tea house, you suddenly wanted to eat bayberries, and your husband went to buy them without a word. It’s clear he cares a lot about you."

"Boss Qiyana noticed that, I feel a bit embarrassed," Erin Janus said shyly. "Last time, it was a whim; I suddenly craved something sour and sweet. Luckily, my husband is good-tempered, and he cares a lot about me and our daughter."

"Having such a husband is a blessing."

"Indeed, when I can’t sleep at night, I call him to keep me company, and he gets up without hesitation. Sometimes at night, I just want someone to talk to, especially since being pregnant makes me prone to all sorts of thoughts."

"Haha, being a husband like that is rare."

"Boss Qiyana, don’t praise him too much; he’ll get conceited. He isn’t without flaws, he works like there’s no tomorrow. I’ve told him not to work so hard, but he says he needs to earn money for baby formula and buy lots of new clothes for our daughter to make her look beautiful, like a little princess."

"Evan is really good to you, which is as it should be. Pregnancy is a big deal for a woman; she should be treated like a queen, haha," the man laughed.

"I’ve enjoyed several months of being treated like a queen; it feels really nice. Sometimes I’m too lazy to get up in the morning, and he’ll bring breakfast to feed me, and if I don’t want to dress, he helps me. Speaking of which, he’s genuinely good to me, and I feel very content."

"Wow? Evan really adores you, nowadays few men are like that. Honestly, even I couldn’t do it. When my wife was pregnant, I happened to be at a low point in my career, always traveling and couldn’t spend much time with her, which I regret."

"Boss Qiyana, you are also a sentimental person. Hearing that, I truly feel fortunate and happy; my heart feels sweet," Erin Janus chuckled softly.

She stood aside, casually chatting with the boss.

The air was filled with the fragrance of tea, various scents mingling together, creating an indescribably unique feeling.

Erin Janus’s voice wasn’t loud, but each word was still heard by Jasmine Yale.

Will Caddel put down his cup and looked at her, "Do you want to go somewhere else to eat? Sorry, this was supposed to be a wonderful breakfast."

"No worries, the breakfast really is wonderful. The fruit tea is delicious; it’s my first time seeing such beautiful fruit tea, it’s unforgettable," Jasmine Yale smiled.

"If you find it okay, then finish up. The atmosphere may be a bit off, but the taste is good."

"CEO Caddel selected this place meticulously, it must be good," Jasmine Yale said, sipping her fruit tea.

Outside, the sun was shining brightly; at the end of summer, the blossoms remained enthusiastic, and even the veins of the green leaves became more distinct.

Jasmine Yale occasionally held her cup and looked outside. The tip of her tongue was filled with the sweet scent of fruit juice, rich and heartwarming.

The view from the seventy-third floor was superb; from here, one could see the bustling city and the busy crowds, crowded and noisy, full of life.

"Hey, Miss Janus, your husband is here," a middle-aged man looked towards the entrance.

At the entrance, a man in a dark blue shirt walked in, his steps steady and his demeanor elegant. He had a black suit draped over his arm, and a faint scent of cologne lingered around him.

Jasmine Yale’s seat happened to face the door; as soon as he walked in, she saw him.

Almost simultaneously, his gaze fell upon her face.
