Fated love: the unwanted bride

Chapter 2593: Nowhere Feels Like Home to Her

  • Next Chapter

On the last day in Old York, Jasmine Yale wore a newly bought pearl beige dress with a touch of luxury, and together with Will Caddel, they headed to the final bidding meeting.

This dress was actually picked out by Will Caddel for her, and she liked it very much.

"This trip to Old York was quite rushed, and I didn’t have the chance to take you out for a walk," Will Caddel said.

"It’s already been great, and besides, we’ll be coming to Old York often in the future. The city is so big; it’s better to take it slow."

"Yes, take it slow, walk along and enjoy the view."

When they encountered a red light, Will Caddel would stop the car, and occasionally he would turn his head to look at Jasmine Yale.

Jasmine Yale’s outfit today was very beautiful, with light makeup, dignified and charming, with a unique style.

He remembered when he first met her, she wasn’t as professional as she is now. She didn’t understand much of the basics, but she was willing to learn and worked hard.

She seemed satisfied with her current state as well, even enjoying reading documents and reviewing materials while sitting in the car.

The venue was not far, and they arrived quickly.

Many companies were present today, with numerous signs and advertisements placed at the entrance, and people bustling in and out incessantly.

"Jasmine, if one day the office location changes, like to Sinkapore, Malborne, Kong Hong, for example. Would you continue being my secretary, or stay in Cakago?" Will Caddel suddenly asked as they walked.

"CEO Caddel, is ZR relocating? Or establishing a branch?"

"Neither."

"I don’t have any attachments in Cakago, and following CEO Caddel is also quite good."

Will Caddel smiled, a clear brightness in his eyes, "Let’s go, the bidding meeting is about to start."

"Alright."

Jasmine Yale didn’t delve into Will Caddel’s meaning. She always felt that as long as she could see hope and the future, things would be alright.

She had been with Will Caddel for half a year now, and her salary and bonuses had continued to grow. The treatment from Will Caddel was generous, and most importantly, he was a patient mentor, never scolding her.

She remembered once being careless and messing up an important number, and Will Caddel simply called her to the office, had her double-check everything, and didn’t even reproach her.

This man’s personality was quite gentle, and Jasmine Yale couldn’t even imagine him getting angry with her.

Moreover, Will Caddel, having navigated the business world for many years, possessed vision, knowledge, and insights. By following him, she saw a different version of herself.

To her, nowhere felt like home, but as long as she could see hope and a future, that was enough.

As for the rest, she would go with the flow.

Entering the venue, she and Will Caddel sat in their designated seats.

Will Caddel only brought her as his secretary, not intending to seriously compete but just observe.

While Will Caddel’s attitude was casual, Jasmine Yale was very earnest.

She continuously worked on her laptop, her fingers typing away rapidly, noting down anything significant.

Will Caddel glanced around the venue, and realized that secretaries as diligent as Jasmine Yale were indeed few and far between.

As the bidding began, several companies rushed to make offers, each taking turns to emphasize their company’s advantages.

ZR’s number was 11, making Will Caddel even less rushed, but Jasmine Yale was different; she was a bit nervous, with palms slightly sweating.

She was a cautious person, fearing she might ruin Will Caddel’s business and plans.

However, Will Caddel glanced at her, handing her a bottle of mineral water, "Drink some water, don’t be nervous, just do your best. The plan you’ve shown me is excellent, just convey the message clearly."
