Fated love: the unwanted bride
Chapter 2614: You Don’t Need to Handle Office Work
Previously, she never considered buying a house, possibly because she didn’t believe she had the ability, but now, she finally has hope.
She can get a new house for Little Clementine and decorate it in a style she likes.
Everything will keep getting better.
Jasmine Yale thought as she walked down the steps, leaving ZR.
The sun was just right in the sky, and she reached out her palm towards it, smiling.
Sunlight poured through her fingers as she stood on the bustling steps with a folder in her arms.
A black stretch Lincoln drove past the building, gliding by the ZR building front, and turned into the parking lot behind ZR.
The autumn sun wasn’t scorching, and the gentle breeze added a special sense of comfort.
Jasmine Yale really liked this kind of weather, and after standing a while at the bottom of the steps, she hurried away with her folder.
The Oasis people were already waiting for her downstairs.
This collaboration is quite complex; originally planned for Will Caddel to come next week for negotiations, unexpectedly, he let her come alone.
Jasmine Yale didn’t have the finesse of Will Caddel, nor was she as socially adept, but she excelled in being earnest and maintained a proper attitude.
She kept discussing the collaboration with the people from Oasis, who subtly and plainly made things difficult for her since she was alone.
"Secretary Yale, isn’t a 5% profit margin a bit too low for Oasis? We’ve committed to fully follow your lead on technology, shouldn’t you show some good faith on your side too?"
"It’s like this, originally we negotiated a 4% profit margin. Our CEO increased it by 1% after considering various factors, we’ve always been sincere. We highly value Oasis’s technology and enterprise management. This morning, colleagues from LY Technology approached me on behalf of Oasis, but I had no time to meet them, so I declined them." Jasmine smiled and shrugged, "And this afternoon was supposed to be our company’s board meeting, but CEO Caddel was so concerned about this cooperation with Oasis that he sent me over directly. CEO Caddel values this highly, and I do, too."
The three managers from the other side kept pressing Jasmine, proposing one challenge after another.
Previously, Will Caddel was there to block some questions for her to some extent, but today she was alone, handling everything herself.
Many issues couldn’t be consulted with Will Caddel, so she decided on her own.
The managers were very talkative, continuing the conversation with her until evening.
Around four or five o’clock, Jasmine looked at her watch, the ZR board meeting should be finished, and she could report progress to Will Caddel.
In a taxi, she made a call to Will Caddel.
"CEO Caddel, is the board meeting over?"
"Just ended." His voice sounded somewhat tired.
"Was everything smooth? Things went okay on this end, although the Oasis people didn’t relent, the main intention is pretty much finalized and we’ll have detailed discussions next week."
"Not bad."
"Mm! CEO Caddel, I’m heading back to the company now, do you need me to help with anything there? If not, I’ll report this afternoon’s work to you."
"No need, head home, I’m going out for a while."
"Ah? Oh, I understand." Jasmine said, "But since it’s still early, I’ll head to the office to work on tomorrow’s report."
"No, you go home, no need to do office work." Will Caddel insisted firmly.
Jasmine was taken aback.
But she was always obedient, she nodded: "I understand, then I’ll take the work home to do."
