Chapter 2645: I Was Violated by Navy Caddel

She remained silent, not saying a word.

Sylvan Cheney frowned; he disliked her silence. Even if she were sharp-tongued, arguing with him, he still preferred that to her silence.

But she truly said nothing, only stared silently at the white bed sheets.

"If you don’t want to eat porridge, I can take you out to eat something else. What do you want to eat?" he asked, looking at her.

"I don’t want to eat anything. You should leave."

"I’ll leave, but you don’t have to keep chasing me away."

"Oh." She lowered her head, twisting her fingers, though her heart was calm.

"It’s half past eight. You can’t just sit in the hospital room all day. What do you want? I’ll get it for you. I just went out and had someone buy you an outfit. You can change into it later."

"I don’t need it. I don’t want it."

"Are you planning to wear hospital clothes out? There’s a small park near the hospital. Change your clothes, and I’ll take you for a walk. The rain has stopped, and the air outside is great for clearing your mind."

"I don’t need to clear my mind. I’m fine."

"Acting like a hedgehog again," he sneered, "Do you think I want to take care of you?"

"Then leave, go!" She suddenly looked up, her eyes intense and cold, as if he had irked her.

Her eyes were red, glaring at him with a piercing gaze.

Sylvan Cheney met her gaze for a few seconds, then scoffed and looked away: "Don’t try to be tough. This isn’t the first time you’ve treated me this way. In the end? I haven’t seen you living well without me."

"Without you, I will live well."

"Oh? I’d like to see that."

As they argued, someone brought clothes to the door. A light yellow Chanel-style outfit and a pair of white flats.

Sylvan took the clothes and placed them in front of the bed: "Should I help you dress or will you do it yourself? Hmm?"

"I’m not going out. I said I’m not going out. I just want to stay here. Let me be quiet, don’t talk to me, don’t say a word, let me be quiet..." Jasmine Yale held her head, a pained expression in her eyes.

"I won’t let you stay here alone, don’t even think about it."

"Sylvan Cheney, what do you want? Last night, you were with Navy Caddel all the time, right? You knew I was at the Niccolo Hotel, right? When I was panicked, you watched and laughed. When I was scared, you were still watching and laughing. If last night Navy Caddel had assaulted me, what about you? What would you do?"

"That would never happen."

"Then you indirectly admit that you were right outside room 8299, watching the spectacle."

"Do you want me to take you away when you were seeing off a client downstairs? Otherwise, you wouldn’t know whether the boss you’re following is human or a beast." Sylvan’s tone turned sarcastic.

"He’s a beast, aren’t you one too? You’re worse than a beast."

"Yes, I’m worse than a beast." Sylvan didn’t refute her. "Change your clothes; I’ll give you ten minutes."

He tore open the paper bag and tossed the clothes beside her.

He glanced at her, pointed to his watch: "Ten minutes, I’ll be back on time."

Even though they had been intimate before, shared the closest of encounters, Sylvan still left the room, avoiding her.

The empty hospital room now only had Jasmine Yale.

She sat blankly, hugging her knees.

It turned out, he indeed followed her the whole night, knowing all her movements clearly...
