Li Mingxi quickly recovered, “They know each other. My husband and the Wen Family are business partners.”

The door of the hospital room wasn’t fully closed. Li Mingxi stood at the doorway and heard Wen Peng and Wen Ning talking.

“Xiao Ning, I heard you were refusing to take your medicine today?” Wen Peng asked her.

Wen Ning weakly smiled, “Brother, I’ve already taken it.”

“Has Xiao been here? You only took the medicine because he came, right?”

“Yeah, Brother Xiao just left.”

“Xiao Ning, the wedding invitation for Xiao Lang and Li Mingxi has been sent out. How long are you going to remain delusional?”

Wen Ning’s voice was faint, “They haven’t held the wedding yet, have they?”

“Do you think their wedding won’t be successful?” Wen Peng’s voice carried some anger, “Or do you plan to do something again?”

When he saw her, his eyes lit up, the warmth in his gaze spreading, “I heard from mom that you went to send out the wedding invitations, why didn’t you wait for me to go with you?”

If she had gone with him, she probably wouldn’t have learned about Wen Ning’s situation.

Li Mingxi replied coolly, “It wasn’t a big deal, I could do it myself.”
