Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All
Chapter 459-She Loves Cheating On Her Men
Chapter 459: 459-She Loves Cheating On Her Men
Bruno:
Something was definitely wrong, and neither my wolf nor I had been able to make sense of it.
The videos had been weirdly vague.
Knowing Ragnar, he wasn’t the kind of man who got into petty arguments.
Even when he disagreed with someone, he preferred to handle things in a civilized manner, sitting calmly and discussing the matter rather than losing his temper or running away from everything.
But then, out of nowhere, he’d started laughing.
That clip of him laughing was what concerned me the most.
Ragnar never laughed that loudly. Hardly anything amused him enough to get such a reaction.
What on earth had Verity said to make him laugh like that?
And it hadn’t even been sarcastic. It was genuine laughter, the kind that came from actual happiness.
I could only imagine Gigi’s face when she saw it.
In fact, I’d tried tagging her in the video several times from different accounts, hoping to remind her what a fool she’d been.
Apparently, Ragnar wasn’t as perfect as she’d thought.
He was busy chasing another gorgeous girl behind her back.
The thought gave me a certain sense of satisfaction, although it was nowhere near enough to make me feel the way I’d hoped.
Verity waited until the elevator arrived and stepped out, seemingly expecting me to stay behind so she could speak with the brothers alone.
But I followed her.
I wanted to know what was happening between them, and honestly, I wouldn’t have been surprised if Gigi had something to do with it.
She was certainly capable of causing trouble.
Flashback:
Years Ago
I’d stepped outside to retrieve Gigi’s phone from the car because she’d left it behind.
For the past few weeks, we’d become regular guests at Theodore and Jaguar’s parties, all because of Gigi.
In fact, there had been an occasion when I discovered she’d attended one of their parties behind my back without even bothering to bring me along.
Within just a few weeks, she’d developed such a close friendship with Theodore and Jaguar that I was beginning to feel uncomfortable.
I mean, Gigi behaved like an entirely different person whenever she was around them.
The Gigi I knew was bold, seductive, and loud, but that version of her seemed to disappear in their presence.
It was almost as though she’d studied both men closely and figured out exactly what kind of woman they preferred.
They liked their women submissive and naive, practically innocent to the point of seeming completely unaware of the world around them.
And that was precisely how Gigi portrayed herself in front of them.
To me, it was a massive red flag.
Things only got worse when I climbed into my car and picked up her phone, only to notice several notifications lighting up the screen.
The sender’s name immediately caught my attention.
Justin.
The one person I hated the most.
His contact was still saved with two red hearts, followed by the words My Future Hubby.
She hadn’t even bothered to change his name.
But that wasn’t what concerned me.
What bothered me was the realization that they were apparently still in touch and seemed perfectly happy with each other.
From the notifications alone, I could tell she’d been responding to his messages.
"Wow, you look gorgeous! And yeah, I’m free. You can come over anytime you want."
Another message followed, seemingly in response to something she’d sent him.
"I love that color on you, Gigi. I love you so much."
My heart began pounding against my ribs.
Just a few hours earlier, I’d asked Gigi whether she and Justin had gotten back together.
Their relationship had always been a confusing mess.
One moment, she’d tell me they were together, the next, they’d broken up, and then suddenly, they were in an open relationship.
There was always something new going on between them.
But judging by those messages, I was beginning to suspect that whatever she’d told me earlier wasn’t true.
They certainly sounded like a couple who were still very much together.
Clutching her phone tightly, I climbed out of the car in anger.
I headed straight back into the mansion, only to find everyone drunk and dancing, practically stumbling into me.
I had to squeeze through the crowd to reach the room where we usually gathered, but to my surprise, it was empty.
Just then, Theodore emerged from the restroom, looking as though he’d splashed some water on his face.
"I’m so ready for another round," he announced, settling into a chair behind the table.
"Um, where’s Gigi?" I asked.
He lifted his head from his drink, glanced at me, and shrugged.
"I don’t know," he replied casually, leaning back in his chair.
I turned around and decided to check the second floor, which was usually off-limits to guests during these parties because Ragnar’s bedroom was located there.
I made my way upstairs and eventually found myself standing outside his room.
The door was slightly ajar, so I peeked inside.
And there she was.
Gigi was on the balcony, making out with the Alpha King.
The same girl who had promised me earlier that day that she would make our relationship official once she’d broken things off with Justin.
And she’d assured me that she’d already ended things with him.
End Of Flashback.
"Theodore, do you know anything about Ragnar’s whereabouts? We have meetings piling up, and he’s nowhere to be found." Verity spoke.
"I just heard from Bruno that nobody at home knows where he is, either."
I heard Verity questioning him while I stood beside her, still lost in my thoughts.
It wasn’t until Theodore shrugged that I finally paid attention.
"He’s a grown man, Verity. Please don’t try to control his life. He doesn’t like that."
His response struck me as odd for several reasons.
Usually, the brothers would lose their minds at the slightest thought of something happening to one another.
But this time, Theodore didn’t seem the least bit concerned.
In fact, he kept avoiding Verity’s gaze, almost as though he was ashamed of something and couldn’t bring himself to look her in the eye.
"What? Your brother is missing, and that’s your response?" Verity snapped.
"He must be out somewhere. He does that sometimes. Maybe he needed some space after what he was feeling last night."
Theodore averted his eyes again, and I noticed Verity’s eyes beginning to turn red.
"What do you mean by that?" she asked in a slow whisper.
