Chapter 660: It’s Not Ancestral Miracle, It’s you!

  • Next Chapter

"I think," Zephyra emphasized every single syllable, leaning forward slightly with a dangerous smirk, "this historic, barrier-shattering ascension is directly related to you fucking her. And by the look of it, you fucked her until the heavens literally cracked open."

Ahem!

Sol coughed again, harder this time, scratching the back of his neck with his free hand while casually turning half an inch to the side. "It... it just sort of happened. We were talking about the conquest, things got heated, and well... one thing led to another."

He glanced sideways at her face, his senses, carefully scanning her features for any sign of cold fury, bitter jealousy, or hidden resentment.

Internally, Sol was sweating more than he had during the siege of the Zharun. This was a lethal dynamic that could turn catastrophic in a single breath.

On one side stood Warchief Veylara, the supreme ruler of the clan, whom he had just thoroughly deflowered against a willow tree; on the other stood High Shaman Zephyra, the spiritual pillar and second most powerful woman in the territory, whom he had also intimately claimed during her healing session.

If these two terrifying, high-layer women decided to turn their wrath on him at the same time, he’d be pulverized into bloody paste before the sun crested the trees.

Of course, they’d only crush me if I didn’t fight back, Sol reasoned internally, though the mental image of trying to wrestle two enraged, high-tier Veynar women naked in the mud didn’t sound like a winning scenario either.

Thankfully, Zephyra showed none of that petty, mortal jealousy.

Her expression remained completely calm, detached, and analytical, as if she were dissecting a rare, fascinating specimen of natural philosophy rather than discussing her clan leader being thoroughly bedded by the same man who had bedded her.

"Do not flatter yourself, Sol," Seemingly noticing Sol’s concern, Zephyra said with a dry, dismissive wave of her hand, seeing right through his defensive posture.

"I am not here to judge your recreational habits, nor am I jealous of the Warchief’s nighttime activities. I am a shaman; I care for the spiritual protection of our clan, not the modesty of its rulers.

And the Veynar are not sheltered maidens who weep over who shares whose furs. We are warriors. Strength seeks strength, and vitality answers vitality."

"So, I will not dig into the details of how it ’just sort of happened,’" she said. "What matters is the result."

"Remember when you took me in the healing sanctum?" Zephyra asked, her tone entirely matter-of-fact, though her pale cheeks flushing a faint, delicate pink, "Last time... after you fucked me thoroughly."

Sol nearly choked on his own spit.

Hearing a respected, ancient High Shaman... a woman revered by thousands as the holy voice of the ancestors, who spoke in grand metaphors and solemn blessings... casually drop such coarse, filthy words out in the open air was bizarre beyond measure.

He was the one who had introduced that modern, blunt vocabulary to her during their intense, private moments, but hearing it thrown back at him so casually made his eye twitch.

"I remember," Sol muttered, clearing his throat. "You were dying due to essence overdraft due to the beast tide."

"Precisely," Zephyra nodded, her pale eyes narrowing in deep contemplation. "I noticed something strange afterward. My shattered pathways didn’t just mend; they rejuvenated.

At the time, in the haze of my recovery, I convinced myself it was a divine blessing from the ancestors... a strange, fortuitous alignment of my own recovery techniques."

She turned her gaze back onto Sol, her voice dropping into a low, piercing whisper.

"Now, watching her force a Layer 5 ascension in a region where Layer 5 is supposed to be impossible, right after taking your seed.... I am certain the two events are connected. It is not an ancestral miracle, Sol. It is you.

Whatever bizarre power you harbor in your core... whatever vitality you pump out when you spill yourself inside a woman... it acts as an absolute, peerless catalyst."

Sol remained silent..

He didn’t dispute her words. In fact, he had already suspected as much. His unique sun core, forged outside the natural laws of this primitive world, was a bottomless furnace of refined, pure essence.

Combined with the reality-bending authority of his Free Use power, his physical body wasn’t just a vessel; it was an active conduit of untamed, primordial origin force.

When he coupled with someone, especially with the raw, relentless intensity he had unleashed on Veylara tonight, that concentrated vitality wasn’t merely spilled away as waste.

It sank directly into the receptive, vulnerable core of his partner, purging spiritual blockages, washing away any friction, and acting as a terrifyingly potent ignition key.

He had known it possessed profound restorative properties. He simply hadn’t realized that for a woman already perched at the absolute, agonizing precipice of a breakthrough, his seed would act like a barrel of oil thrown directly into a dying bonfire.

He had never expected the effect to be strong enough to shove a peak Layer 4 across the legendary barrier into Layer 5 in a single night.

Zephyra studied his quiet, calculating expression for a long moment. Her milky eyes softened, though her gaze remained sharp and penetrating.

"I will not pry into your secrets, Sol," Zephyra said softly, her tone laced with a mix of warning and genuine sincerity. "Every one have their own mysteries they must take to their grave.

As long as this power is safe... as long as it carries no hidden curses, no dark soul-shackles, and no creeping decay that will rot her core from the inside out... the Veynar will only revere it as our greatest blessing."

She paused, tilting her head slightly, waiting for his answer.

Sol met her pale gaze without flinching. His neon-crimson eyes burned with steady, grounded honesty.

"There are no curses, Zephyra," Sol replied, his raspy voice firm and steady. "I don’t fully understand the outer limits of my own body’s mechanics, but I know how my power operates.

It is pure, refined vitality. It purges impurities; it doesn’t plant them. From everything I have seen so far... it is safe.

No one has suffered damage. No one has shown signs of corruption or backlash. So, I think there is zero danger to her."
