Chapter 508 - 504: I’ll Have My Dad Go After Him

She spoke, her voice deep. "Gideon Lawson, let’s go."

"Alright."

And with that, a long line of rough-looking young men fell in behind Chloe Sinclair.

"Damn, why do I kinda think this crew of edgy guys is hot?"

"Some of those guys look familiar. What department are they in?"

"They don’t look like they go here. Probably high schoolers."

"Forget unearned ego, he’s a total gold digger. Haven’t you noticed all the girls he gets close to are rich heiresses? He probably doesn’t even want Chloe Sinclair as a girlfriend—he just wants her money."

The students’ voices drilled into his ears, one after another. In that moment, Wyatt Thorne felt utterly humiliated.

Seeing Wyatt Thorne abandon her and storm off, Yuna Sutton was so frantic she was on the verge of tears. She quickly hurried after him.

Yuna Sutton knew her words had displeased Wyatt. She felt wronged, but more than that, she was afraid.

She had a full schedule today, but as soon as she heard Wyatt was in trouble at the cafeteria, she had run across half the campus to get to him, risking being late for her afternoon class.

"Wyatt, I was wrong today. Please, forgive me."

She hated apologizing, but Yuna knew she had to be the one to back down first.

"I was just so angry that Chloe Sinclair treated you that way!" Yuna said indignantly. "You like her so much, and she still rejects you! Hmph. When I get home, I’m going to have my dad go after her boyfriend!"

Yuna Sutton’s father was one of the biggest real estate developers in the country.

Wyatt Thorne froze. Just like that, half of his anger evaporated.

"Jasper Shaw is a powerful man. Will going after him cause problems for you?"

He knew Jasper Shaw was wealthy, but he couldn’t begin to fathom the true extent of his fortune.

But Yuna just said, "He has a project right now that requires my dad’s cooperation. When I get home, I’ll just tell my dad to shut it down for a couple of days."

Wyatt Thorne had never been exposed to the world of high society, so he didn’t understand the implications.

Yuna, however, was different.

Having grown up in high society, Yuna naturally knew all about Jasper Shaw’s circumstances.

But the Sutton family was not to be trifled with, especially since Yuna was their only daughter.

Her father, Diana Sutton, doted on her. He had planned out her entire life from a young age, leaving her with nothing to worry about.

Even without Diana Sutton’s support, she could live a lavish life.

And it was precisely this upbringing that had made Yuna so spoiled and prone to drama.

"I’ll just claim Jasper Shaw bullied me. Let’s see if my dad doesn’t put him in his place!"
