Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.
Chapter 413: Bambi Butcher Has Arrived
"Hello, everybody! Look who has arrived. It’s me, Bambi Butcher!" Bambi announced her arrival.
She stood directly by the glass door, completely blocking the three friends from going outside.
They badly wanted to push past her and leave right now because of Haley. Haley had already gotten into her car, slammed the door shut, and driven off down the main road.
They really need to find a way to settle things up with the girl and try and talk to her..
But now Bambi had their full attention.
They were not going anywhere past Bambi Butcher’s new look.
When they looked at her, they were seeing a completely different Bambi than the one they all thought they knew.
Bambi’s signature wolf hairstyle was totally gone. Her hair was now tightly braided into cornrows, all pulled back away from her face, and the color was a wild mixture of shades they couldn’t even define.
She wore super baggy pants, an oversized T-shirt, and Kraven’s cross hanging from a chain around her neck.
Kraven’s gun was tucked loosely into the side of her pants waistband.
She finished off the whole outfit with a fresh pair of white sneakers.
Wow..
The entire group stood there and looked her up and down several times.
Faye stood still, her eyes dropping from Bambi’s braided head down to the thick iron sitting precariously against her waist. The silence stretched out for 10 full seconds before anyone even moved a muscle.
Faye broke the silence...
"Why are you dressed like that Bambi?" Faye asked, pointing a hand straight at her.
"This is me. The real me. This is how I dress," Bambi said, her chest puffed out as she felt euphoric for no particular reason.
Malo leaned forward, his forehead scrunched up as he took a closer step toward the doorway.
"You braided your hair?" Malo muttered, squinting at the complex pattern.
"Yes. Every row has its own cool color. The swag way."
Malo tilted his head back, letting out a short laugh that he immediately tried to hide behind his wrist.
"You look like some gangster rapper in some Southern place.... And put the gun away. The GPS could arrest you for that, or for your looks..." Faye warned her, dropping her arms to her sides.
Bambi quickly yanked the gun out of her waistband and shoved the iron deep into one of her oversized pockets. The cloth sagged heavily under the weight, but she just slapped the side of her thigh like it was nothing.
"Okay, that’s been taken care of. What can I do for you, Sire Faye?"
They all stared at her, still wondering if this was truly the exact same girl from Saturday night who had been running around blindly looking for revenge.
Or if she was the same girl who always acted ridiculously tough, chaotic, and overly talkative every hour of the day.
Bambi placed a hand flat over her chest and looked straight at Faye.
Then she suddenly knelt down on one knee, dropping right onto the polished gym floor.
Looking like someone about to propose...
"I, Bambi Butcher, swear to protect you, Faye Grande, forever, unless death do us part."
"W-what are you doing?" Faye muttered, completely stunned by the girl’s sudden, dramatic action.
She took a quick step back, her boots squeaking against the tile.
"Giving you my loyalty."
"Why? And who told you to do all this?"
Bambi kept her posture straight, her chin lifted high like she was performing in front of a giant crowd instead of a few confused friends.
"Now that I’m part of your group and you’re my Sire, I’m pledging my loyalty. Just like in the book."
"First, you’re not part of our group. Second, what book?" Malo asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
He crossed his arms over his chest, looking over at Faye with a disbelieving smirk.
"Malo, don’t do that right now. You just said something similar, and Haley just stormed off," Faye warned him, shooting him a quick glare.
Malo shut his mouth instantly, swallowing his next joke.
"Speaking of Haley, aren’t we supposed to go after her?" Sasha reminded them, taking a step toward the glass doors.
Sasha glanced out toward the empty street where Haley’s car had disappeared just moments ago. The exhaust fumes had already cleared, leaving the road completely bare.
"Yes, that’s right. Let’s do that first, and then we’ll talk about what just happened, Bambi please get up..." Faye said, rubbing her forehead.
The headache was already building right behind her eyes.
She looked back down at Bambi, who was still kneeling faithfully on the ground, completely unbothered by the cold floor beneath her knee.
"Okay. That’s a good thing because I was already worried about when you were going to say that," Bambi said, pushing herself up. "My girlfriend bought these pants just yesterday, and I wasn’t ready to make them dirty."
Bambi dusted off her knee with her hand even though it wasn’t dirty at all. The gym floor was spotless.
Faye let out a heavy sigh, turning her back on Bambi’s colorful braids.
She loaded her pups into the back of the van, carefully arranging them into their individual car seats one by one. She clicked the buckles into place, checking each harness twice while the kids babbled to themselves. She would have left the kids safely with Sensei, but he had taken the day off and wasn’t around the gym today.
Every time she bent over to secure a strap, she could hear Bambi’s voice carrying across the parking lot.
Meanwhile, over by the curb, Bambi proudly showed off her graffiti new motorcycle, loudly claiming that her girlfriend had bought it for her just the previous day.
The bike gleamed under the afternoon sun, fresh paint practically reflection-clean, with Bambi patting the leather seat like it was a prize trophy.
Malo and Faye both wanted to call her a sugar baby right then and there, but finding Haley and making things right came first.
Mocking Bambi Butcher could wait for later.
