Chapter 2402 Dragon Group Privileges Rocketed to S-Class (5th Update)

After receiving the report from the Dragon Group's Sea Border Department Major General, the oppressive atmosphere in the Dragon Group headquarters meeting room instantly cleared away. Everyone present not only smiled brightly, but the celebratory clapping and the smiles on their faces made it seem like they were experiencing the greatest joy in life.

"Hahaha, really amazing, this Shen Qiang, did a fantastic job! How many years has it been? When have those Sea Demons ever listened to us or respected our opinions? Now with Shen Qiang stepping in, not only did he easily resolve it, but he shockingly did it all with just one yuan, this is simply sky-high impressive!"

Hearing this, an excited Vice Admiral laughed out loud: "Refreshing, refreshing! I had already given instructions, the department had made the worst plan, originally thinking that once the box fell into Ying Xiu's hands, it would be impossible to retrieve, but with Shen Qiang stepping in, this desperate problem was solved immediately."

"Hmm, this Shen Qiang really makes an impact only when he strikes, and when he does, his breathtaking performance leaves one gasping for breath. The Sea Demon King Ying Xiu has dominated the Sea Border for almost five thousand years, and historically anything related to him has never been done successfully, but now, settled with one yuan. Shen Qiang is simply a blessing for our Dragon Group, a blessing for Huaxia!"

The multitude of generals were excited, full of smiles, and couldn't stop praising.

The War God of the Dragon Group, seated at the main seat, also smiled with pride and joy clear in his eyes.

"After waiting for more than a hundred years, the chosen disciple has indeed not disappointed me. This Ying Xiu possesses formidable strength, yet even I am powerless against him, but Shen Qiang can subdue him, it's undeniable, Shen Qiang is indeed a blessing for Huaxia!"

Thinking this, the beaming War God of the Dragon Group felt more and more cheerful.

At this time, another smiling Dragon Group Major General chuckled and said: "Everyone quiet down, let me say a few words."

Upon hearing this, the multitude of Dragon Group generals quieted down.

They all turned their gaze to the smiling man.

"The Sea Border Department is currently escorting the box back, the situation is very good, barring surprises, the box will arrive at the port punctually at nine tonight, this is certain and requires no further discussion, so next, I'd like to address another request from the Sea Border Department, which is their petition for recognition of Shen Qiang's merit, regarding this, does anyone have any opinions?"

After hearing this, the Dragon Group War God smiled but said nothing.

After all, Shen Qiang is his disciple.

It was inappropriate for him to speak on such matters.

And the Sea Border Department petitioning for Shen Qiang's recognition was, on one hand, a testament to Shen Qiang which brightened the Dragon Group War God's reputation, while relieving Dragon Group War God's awkwardness at the same time.

Who doesn't want to promote their favorites when they're capable?

Although they are merely Martial Arts master and disciple.

But Shen Qiang indisputably is the Dragon Group War God's trusted confidant.

In this situation, the multitude of Dragon Group generals discussed petitioning merit for his disciple even the broad-experienced, high-ranking and influential Dragon Group War God couldn't help but smile.

Because this is a good thing.

"Through this affair, it is fully proven that Dragon Group Security Advisor Shen Qiang's ability and value are undeniable, I suggest recognizing his merit and awarding him the rank of Lieutenant."

A general said.

Others immediately voiced their opinions.

"Hmm, indeed, everyone has witnessed Shen Qiang's ability, I agree!"

"Seconded,"

"Seconded."

"Personally, I feel Shen Qiang's ability, the rank of Lieutenant might be slightly low, because normally Dragon Group officer ranks below General level are based on cultivation, typically, Mixed Element Realm should be Colonel, once reaching Dao Fruit Stage, it's usually at least Colonel with merit deserving Major General rank, so I think, perhaps we can make an exception, hmm, set up a training course for a few days, then directly promote Shen Qiang to Major General."

Upon hearing this, the Dragon Group War God sitting at the main seat chuckled softly.

"You guys, you'll spoil him with this, that won't do, rank promotion isn't urgent, giving him a Lieutenant rank is already an exceptional leap in promotion, anything more can't be given, otherwise he won't know to cherish it."

This comment amused the multitude of generals in the room.

"War God, you surely jest, Shen Qiang isn't a child anymore, his calmness compares favorably to those present, furthermore, everyone acknowledges his ability, continually suppressing him also isn't right."

"Exactly, even without a Major General rank, at least a Colonel should be given, see, Qian Shanxue, Wenren Meiqiao, are both Major Generals. Ali, Ye Xiaolei, one Lieutenant, one Major, not even giving him a Colonel rank would cause Shen Qiang to lose face in front of his girlfriend."

"Hahaha, exactly, let's decide then, Shen Qiang truly has the capability, whether in cultivation or merit, qualifies him, War God, don't always think about young people, excessive success shouldn't be an issue."

Listening to the multitude of officers, the Dragon Group War God also smiled brightly and said: "You're right, but military rank truly doesn't matter to Shen Qiang, because he is the Dragon Group Security Advisor, concerning Huaxia, Dragon Group, and Cultivation World's safety, he can address any matter. In this capacity he already has an Imperial Sword-like authority, equivalent to having Imperial Sword-like powers, so even if a junior officer rank holds no impact on him."

Instantly, the multitude of Dragon Group generals nodded in agreement.

Because what the Dragon Group War God said was factual.

In the Hua Xia Cultivation World, everyone knows Shen Qiang is the only Security Advisor of the Dragon Group.

This identity seems empty and without tangible benefits, but in reality, it exists on the fringes of the Dragon Group like an Inspector, not bound by the rigid regulations within the system, nor bound to daily duties, free and easy, approached only when significant events require attention. In ordinary times, Shen Qiang truly enjoys unfettered freedom.

And given Shen Qiang's current impressive level, a military rank truly is insignificant.

The Dragon Group Vice Admiral, who began the proposal, chuckled upon hearing this: "War God makes a valid point, Shen Qiang being outside our fixed system is actually beneficial, furthermore, the Dragon Group Sea Border Department's suggestion is they hope we can grant Shen Qiang higher information query rights to better carry out his duties, hence the rank issue can be set aside as we examine this aspect instead."

Upon hearing this, the multitude of Dragon Group officers immediately voiced their approval.

"Agreeable, the Dragon Group's Security Advisor lacking sufficient access to know where danger might arise is unworkable, I support prioritizing the enhancement of Shen Advisor's access rights rather than focusing on rank."

"Indeed, military rank is currently insignificant for Shen Qiang, whereas some inquiry permissions are more meaningful to him, I concur."

"Agreed."

"Seconded."

Almost instantly, over half of the Dragon Group generals in the meeting room chose to support the proposal to enhance Shen Qiang's access permissions.

This caused the Dragon Group War God to smile in delight.

But just at this moment, the proposal made by the Dragon Group Vice Admiral left him momentarily stunned.

"Alright, since everyone agrees, then it's decided, starting now, Security Advisor Shen Qiang's knowledge, inquiry permissions will officially be upgraded from C-level to S-level, apart from SSS-level files requiring Dragon Group Staff Department approval, he will have access to all Dragon Group materials."
