Chapter 2403 Absolute Trust from the Dragon Group

Upon hearing the Vice Admiral's words, the many officers present nodded in agreement, but the Dragon Group's War God gasped, furrowing his brows sharply, and immediately questioned, "S-level investigation authority is too high; this means the Dragon Group's database is completely open to him."

"Not only that, the S-level investigation authority already involves everyone within the Dragon Group's Major General Level, including many encrypted files, personnel information, as well as some secret plans and projects, all will be known to him. He's too young right now, giving him such high authority makes me uneasy. Level A then, open information and investigation authority of Dragon Group members within Colonel Level to him, other hidden matters, it's still too early for him to be exposed."

Upon hearing this, several Vice Admirals in the Dragon Group burst into laughter.

"War God, you're too cautious. I know, you're afraid Shen Qiang will act recklessly, but we all understand, when we chose to hire Shen Qiang as the Dragon Group's Security Advisor, what caught our attention was surely his possession of abilities others lack, and his unconventional sense of justice, wasn't it?"

"Think about it, under Shen Qiang, there are demons, cultivators, and now also sea demons, controlling a large group of alchemists. His abilities are already comparable to the twelve at the peak of the Cultivation World."

Another Vice Admiral, hearing this, also laughed, "Indeed, and through so many matters, although everyone hasn't met Shen Qiang, we understand what kind of person he is. You always say he's too young, but in reality, we all know Shen Qiang may be young but he's not foolish."

"If age truly represented everything, wouldn't we also have to give way to the elderly who fix bicycles in the alley?"

The many Dragon Group officers present immediately burst into laughter at the words.

"Exactly, a ten-year-old math genius can solve various puzzles, while a hundred-year-old might not even be capable of basic arithmetic, so age has never been an issue. You're looking at the issue with a subjective attitude."

"Yes, yes, War God, your attitude here actually is problematic, it's a very common parental attitude. It's like with children at home, who are clearly very excellent but you're still uneasy. If their academic performance is good, you say they're not good at socializing. If they're good at socializing, you say they have bad friends. Staying at home, you say they're reclusive. Going out to have fun, you say they're wild. When they're quiet, you worry they're playing on their phone, but when they're lively, they annoy you. This doesn't work in our Dragon Group."

"That's right, you want a horse to run, but you also want it not to eat grass, how is that possible? Shen Qiang's abilities, potential, wisdom, and sense of justice are undeniable. He's not the type to use public assets for personal desires. Since we want him to be the Imperial Sword suspended outside the Dragon Group, we must give him the right to know."

Upon hearing everyone's remarks, the atmosphere on site inexplicably grew heavier.

"Shen Qiang is simply too excellent; his abilities far exceed his age," a Vice Admiral laughed, "Back then, hiring him as a Security Advisor, the key consideration was two points: one, he can control demons, the other, he has mastered bacteria and viruses."

"So in necessary circumstances, he possesses deterrent power akin to a nuclear weapon; that was one of the considerations back then. Another aspect to appoint him to this position is because we hope for someone who, while unconventional, possesses a sense of justice, doesn't form close bonds within the Dragon Group, and operates on the periphery, able to act decisively without mercy upon discovering issues."

"This inherently means he can't be like other Dragon Group members, sitting in the organization; this was established from the beginning. A true wolf should be left in the wild to learn hunting on its own; now, he has done it, perfectly and astonishingly."

The Vice Admiral continued to laugh, "Therefore, at this point, it's time to let him truly understand the Dragon Group's situation, the distribution of battle zones, besides internal tasks stabilizing the Cultivation World, Dragon Group also has to resist cultivator invasions from other regions."

"To put it bluntly, ordinary people and ordinary cultivators are sheep, while enemies are wolves, and we, the Dragon Group, are the sheepdogs, we must protect them. But sometimes we are deeply trapped in confusion and unable to see through; at this time, we need a powerful Security Advisor operating outside the organization, that person is Shen Qiang."

"He possesses everything we need. As long as we give him sufficient authority, he can examine the Dragon Group from his perspective and embark from his viewpoint, exercising justice in an unconventional manner. So, from my personal perspective, I don't wish for the Dragon Group to have secrets in Shen Qiang's eyes."

"Yet at the same time, I indeed have some concerns, afraid that once Shen Qiang has the highest authority, he might act impulsively. Therefore, after comprehensive consideration, the current S-level authority is the most reasonable. If Shen Qiang indeed performs perfectly, then he can further advance in the future, even if his performance is average, whether it is maintaining the balance between various demons and cultivators or involving sea border security, he still needs to know many things."

"So..." The Vice Admiral raised an eyebrow, "Now express your stance, those in agreement, raise your hand, as per usual, more than half means passed, less than half means further discussion."

Upon hearing this, the Dragon Group War God sighed, saying: "Alright, since you all say I'm having a parental mindset, being a bit pedantic, I'll abstain from this matter, you make the decision yourselves, but I want to say one thing, no matter what, Shen Qiang is still young, I have high hopes for him, so I hope you don't let him lose himself in terms of authority."

"Rest assured, War God, we won't talk to him about how high S-level authority is, and will prohibit all Dragon Group members from discussing authority-related matters, so you don't need to worry," the Vice Admiral smiled.

The Dragon Group War God took a deep breath and helplessly said, "Alright, since you've decided to grant him S-level authority, you can vote, but after granting the authority, don't give him a military rank, lest he becomes too arrogant."

"Okay," The Vice Admiral smiled.

Then he turned his head and looked at many Dragon Group officers present, saying: "Then let's proceed quickly, the vote begins, those in favor of Shen Qiang obtaining S-level authority, raise your hand."

Upon hearing this, a Dragon Group Major General laughed, raising his hand while saying: "I agree, the recent incident with the particle cannon data has already explained the issue very well. Now, Shen Qiang's influence isn't just limited to the Hua Xia Cultivation World and those ordinary demons, if you want his help, you have to let him know!"

"I agree as well." Another Dragon Group Vice Admiral raised his hand saying: "He operates outside of the Dragon Group, his methods are unorthodox, yet he's innately righteous. In terms of Huaxia's security matters, he is someone worth trusting with responsibility!"

"Agree!"

"Support!"

"Seconded!"

"Very well, since everyone has passed, now it starts, the authority for Shen Qiang is officially opened, we will give him absolute trust; except for extremely rare core secrets, the Dragon Group will no longer have ordinary meaning secrets for Shen Qiang."
