Giant Dragon Lord: Starting from Daily Intelligence

Chapter 470 - 382: Avril’s Spiritual Magic and Inspecting the Magic Academy

Chapter 470: Chapter 382: Avril’s Spiritual Magic and Inspecting the Magic Academy

"Since the academy’s founding, we have accepted a total of one hundred and eighty-six students with magical talent from Black Stone Territory and Amber Territory."

"After basic training and screening, eighty-six have successfully awakened their Magic Power and officially become Magic Apprentices. Of those, thirty-four with more outstanding talent have advanced to Mid-tier Magic Apprentices and can now begin learning some basic magic."

Lady Irina said, her voice smooth and unhurried.

These results were quite impressive.

"How is the first group of apprentices from Black Stone Territory doing?"

"Extremely well."

Lady Irina said approvingly.

"Although the children from Black Stone Territory started with a weaker foundation, they are generally strong-willed and diligent in their studies. Nearly fifty have become Magic Apprentices, with eleven of them advancing to the Mid-tier. That’s a very high ratio."

Raylo nodded in satisfaction and turned to look at Lillian. The academy owed its current success to her dedication.

Lillian met her brother’s gaze, and the corners of her mouth lifted slightly. A small sense of pride welled up inside her.

After finishing her report, Lady Irina dispelled the light screen and added with a hint of worry.

"The academy is developing well at the moment. The only thing slowing our progress is the consumption of certain rare resources, especially Elemental Spring Water. It helps apprentices gather Magic Power more quickly and purifies their Spiritual Power, but our reserves are running low."

Lillian nodded in agreement.

"Elemental Spring Water is truly precious, and our territory doesn’t have an Elemental Well to produce it. I’ve already contributed nearly my entire personal stock to the academy."

Raylo smiled faintly and rose to his feet.

"As it happens, I also prepared a small gift for the academy on this visit."

He walked to an open space in the middle of the office. As the others watched curiously, he retrieved something from his Spatial Bag.

THUD!

An oak barrel, as tall as a man, appeared on the floor.

Lady Irina and Lillian were both stunned.

’What could be in such a massive barrel?’

Raylo stepped forward and, with a loud POP, smacked the lid off the barrel.

The instant the lid came off, an aura of magic so dense it was almost tangible erupted from the barrel!

A multicolored halo materialized, and the very air in the office seemed to become agitated.

"This... This is..."

All traces of elegance and composure vanished from Lady Irina’s face in an instant.

She darted to the barrel’s side, staring intently at the crystal-clear liquid within. It glittered with motes of light, and when she spoke, her voice was trembling with excitement.

"Elemental Spring Water? S-So... so much?!"

The precious Elemental Spring Water, normally measured out in Small Crystal Bottles, was now sloshing in a giant oak barrel as if it were cheap ale.

"An entire barrel of Elemental Spring Water..."

Lady Irina murmured to herself. She took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing her elation and shock, then turned to Raylo and gave him a solemn Mage’s salute.

"Lord Earl, please forgive my earlier lack of composure. Your... your support is beyond generous. On behalf of all the teachers and students of the academy, I offer you our most profound respect!"

"You are too kind, my lady."

Raylo made a gesture to help her rise.

"The academy belongs to all of us. I’m simply doing my part."

Lady Irina’s cheeks were flushed with excitement. She looked back at the barrel of Elemental Spring Water, her eyes shining with an incredible light.

"With this! With this!"

Her voice was filled with unprecedented confidence.

"I guarantee that with such an abundant supply of Elemental Spring Water, at least twenty to thirty students from this group will successfully become Official Mages!"

She paused for a moment, her tone becoming firm and resolute.

"At the earliest, in no more than three months, our academy will produce its very first homegrown Official Mage!"
