Chapter 475: Chapter 385: Arrival of the Hill Giant Tribe and the Eternal Giant Turtle’s Crisis

THUD!

The Space Stone Wall was slammed down in the clearing at the center of the camp, sending a powerful tremor through the ground.

Kado set down the wall, shook out his numb arms, and let out a long sigh.

Wuba Tribe Leader circled the stone wall. He reached out a coarse finger to touch its cold, smooth surface, sensing the Space Magic Power contained within—so potent it felt ready to spill out.

His experience was far greater than that of an ordinary Giant. He knew this was no common artifact.

"Brother Carlo, you’ve returned."

Wuba’s gaze finally landed on Raylo.

"Wuba Tribe Leader, I’m here to fulfill our agreement,"

Raylo said.

In less than an hour, more than a hundred Hill Giants—men, women, and children—had all gathered in the clearing.

Raylo said no more, giving Coal Ball on his shoulder a look.

Coal Ball immediately understood, flew up from beside Moonlight, and hovered directly in front of the Space Stone Wall.

The tiny black figure and the enormous stone wall formed a stark contrast.

Under the astonished gazes of all the Giants, Coal Ball let out a low roar.

HUMMM!

The stone wall instantly lit up, and a halo of light began to form.

The flat surface of the stone wall began to twist and ripple, like the surface of water after a stone is thrown in.

Then, a rift in space tore open silently in the center of the wall and quickly widened.

All the Giants present were struck speechless by the sight.

In their centuries of life, they had never witnessed such an unimaginable scene.

Wuba Tribe Leader’s breathing quickened.

He finally understood that everything Ug had described to him paled in comparison to the shock of seeing it with his own eyes.

’That Kado is no simple Giant, and his even more impressive ’brother,’ Carlo... their origins and abilities are far beyond my imagination.’

’To be able to slice off and transport a rift in space at will... it’s simply beyond comprehension.’

"Pass through this gate!"

Raylo’s voice rang out at the right moment, breaking the silence.

"On the other side is my territory, the Black Stone Territory. Plenty of food and warm shelter are waiting for you all there."

Wuba Tribe Leader took a long look at Raylo, then another at the Space Gate, which was emitting an unknown aura.

Without a shred of hesitation, Wuba slammed the butt of his Stone Spear on the ground, producing a loud, sharp CRACK.

"Ug!"

"Yes, Father!"

"Gather all our things. We... are leaving!"

With that, Wuba took giant strides, becoming the first to walk toward the shimmering rift in space.

With their leader taking the lead, the remaining Giants no longer hesitated.

Ug immediately began to organize them. The Giants returned to their stone houses one after another to grab their few belongings—some huge Beast Hides, crude stone tools, and smoked meat jerky.

Soon, the Giants began to flock toward the Space Stone Wall in an orderly fashion.

They walked past Raylo one by one. Some Giants would glance at him curiously, while others would give him a clumsy nod of acknowledgment.

Their towering figures vanished one by one into the rift, disappearing from the valley.

Raylo stood quietly to the side, watching the scene unfold.

His mood was far more complicated than his calm exterior suggested.

’In the face of the coming storm, I need Power. And these Hill Giants are the most steadfast and reliable combat force I could ask for.’

When the last female Giant, holding a child, also walked into the Space Gate, the noisy valley instantly became silent.

All that remained were the empty stone huts and the debris scattered about, proof that a tribe of over a hundred had once lived and thrived here.

Raylo stepped into the spatial rift. Although he had already made arrangements in his territory, he would only be at ease after personally settling these Giants in.

"Kado, Gordo, move the wall back. I’ll come back with Coal Ball tomorrow to get you."

Raylo’s figure vanished into the rift, which then slowly closed and disappeared.

A fleeting sense of vertigo from crossing space passed, and Raylo found himself back in Black Stone Castle.

At this moment, more than a hundred Hill Giants appeared in the Central Plaza of Black Stone Castle, a truly magnificent sight.

They curiously sized up their surroundings: the stone buildings that seemed impossibly "refined" compared to their own, the level ground, and the flags fluttering in the distance.

The people and Knights of Black Stone Territory did not panic.

A child running by while holding a loaf of bread even tilted their head back and waved hello to a female Giant who looked less intimidating.

Over the past few months, Kado and his dozen or so fellow tribesmen had already become a familiar sight in Black Stone Territory.

The townspeople had gone from initial awe to acceptance. They discovered that while these big folk had hearty appetites and booming voices, they were actually simple and good-natured, and had long since grown accustomed to them.

One bold tavern owner even specially brewed a "Giant’s" ale, served in wooden barrels, which was quite popular with Kado and the others.

Ed was already waiting there, with two rows of well-equipped Knights behind him.

"My Lord."

Ed stepped forward and bowed to Raylo.

"See to the arrangements. Take them to the prepared Giant Camp."

Raylo commanded.

"Yes, my Lord."

Ed turned and immediately made the arrangements.

Kado’s dozen or so fellow tribesmen were the ones to act. Ed, who had once been their instructor and had even guided Kado in his Knightly Skills, held great authority in their eyes.

Kado’s dozen or so tribesmen immediately went up to them, speaking loudly in the Giant tongue with their compatriots. The excitement and ease on their faces was the best form of reassurance.

The Giants of the Ug Tribe, under the guidance of their kin, curiously passed through the castle, toward the new camp that had been carved out just for them.
